As the property is up high on the was to the Acropolis the views are Lindos bay are super. The Patio is lovely for relaxing. We found the bed very comfortable and love the raised platforms of the Lindian Villas. The owner is very responsive to messages and kindly left breakfast provisions for our frost morning there. The place was spotlessly clean.
For older or less mobile guests the (short but steep)walk up the hill to the property in the heat could be difficult. I’d advise packing training shoes as a bit slippery. At less hot times with the right footwear would be easier.

The Villa is situated at the Top of the valley, so we could see mind blowing views of the Lindos Bay. Very spacious for a family. Separate rooms, clean and comfortable, strong a.c, all sorts of kitchenette provided & lots of basic spices( salt, sugar, tea, coffee, pepper etc in abundance). Washing machine and detergent liquid too, was very thoughtful. Extremely big balcony with stunning views. Costas , the owner, left many food items like yogurt, cornflakes, juice , water, smoked turkey slices, milk all ready for us in the fridge. Thanks 😊. Bay was a peaceful place for bathing, lots of sun beds and umbrellas and eating joints too. We found the place family friendly.
As mentioned by fellow travelers, there was quite a lot of walking from the main square, where the taxi drops you. Around 10 minutes with kids, a few stairs to reach the villa. Gets tiring on a sunny day. Secondly, a very stench smell of sewage comes very often from the toilet area. Very unbearable, but the owner said it happens on windy day.

We enjoyed the traditional style of the property, its location and the veranda was great.
The shower could have had a hook so you could shower with both hands.

Wonderful villa with the best view of the bay. Location was perfect for everything.. restaurants, the beach, little supermarkets. The owner met us on arrival and took us to the villa. They had provided some provisions for us which was very kind, including Easter chocolates. They were so helpful and replied quickly to any question we had. The villa was beautiful, comfortable and clean with plenty of room. The kitchen well equipped. The terrace was spacious and shady, the perfect place to relax in the morning and evening. We loved it, we will be back!

Location is superb and the villa well equiped and spotlessly clean.
We had a very late arrival that was further delayed and we didn't arrive until 1.30am. We were met at the main square and escourted to the villa where they had stocked the fridge and provided tea and coffee etc.
The owners were very attentive and nothing was a problem - they even printed ferry tickets for our son and his wife for a visit to Symi.
The villa is high up on the donkey trail to the acropolis so lots of steps and steep paths to get there - not siutable for those with walking issues and difficult if you had a pram.
There is only 1 bathroom off the kitchen and 1 bedroom is accessed off the bathroom and patio. The other bedroom either access bathroom through the first bedroom or via the patio - which is what we did.
Only minor but we had the second bedroom so access to bathroom was via the patio as our son and wife had the first bedroom.

The position of Villa Vasillia is superb with an amazing view of the bay from a large private courtyard. Lovely and quiet . Brilliant facilities, especially a bonus having a washing machine.Also the welcome pack including wine , cereals , tea, water , bread, jam, ham and much more is such a lovely touch.

The communication with the owner was very good and they were very flexible with arrival, we were met in main square where the taxi rank is by Costas the owner, who showed us where the apartment was, he also helped me with my luggage for which I was very grateful. The apartment is well located very near the roof top restaurant Melenos and overlooking Pallas beach. The apartment itself is off a lane with steps up to its own locked access, from inside the gate there are a few more steps to the lovely terrace area with the traditional pebble mosaic floor. The kitchen is very well equipped,clean and has a washing machine (massive bonus) and large fridge freezer, the owners kindly left milk juice water, bread and a few more groceries to help us on our way, very generous and welcome. From the kitchen is the bathroom, recently renovated with shower, plenty of room and bright, outside bathroom is an alcove with dressing table and mirror with power socket, perfect! Also from the the kitchen/diner is the master bedroom, beautiful room with Indian bed, comfy mattress, pillows, and tasteful decorative lighting , the wardrobe is on this platform. One thing to bear in mind, the mattress is against a wall so one person does need to scramble over the other to get out (but small issue) from this room you come to a living room area, which surprisingly we used quite a lot because it was cool, tastefully decorated and very restful. From this room you get another large room with lindian platform but with two single mattresses and plenty of room between. Each room does have its own door out to the terrace area, all secure and lockable, they also all have air conditioning units (much needed and work very well). We loved our time at the apartment, it is very spacious inside, very clean, nice finishing touches, good quality mattresses and bedding and the bonus of a large terrace with lots of chairs, sun beds, large table and stunning views.
I would have liked a shower bracket high on the shower wall to hold the shower head (easy fix). Cushions for outside chairs. Everything else perfect.

Always dislike the bathroom situation in Lindos. Bins need to be changed daily not every two days. Drains cannot be helped but are pretty nasty.

We loved the big terrace with the beatiful view.
The house is stylish and nicely renovated.
Cool restaurants, cafés and the two beaches are reachable within a few minuntes' walk.
Two glasses of table water, some food and goodies were waiting for us in the appartment when we arrived.
It would be nice to have another cupboard in the single beds' room( there is only one in the masters bedroom).

For the first time in our experience with Booking we can truly say that we liked everything! The view is splendid, the villa was beautiful, clean, and very well equipped, and our hosts were wonderful and helpful. All the described facilities were there. The villa has been recently renovated and it shows!

Villa Vasilia is a typical Lindian property. Well furnished with all the utilities you would need. Though we mainly ate out as there are so many good restaurants in Lindos and this villas location is ideal.
We spent most of our time on the large private verandah which has sun on it for the whole day and shade too with a great view overlooking the main beach. Which is 5 minutes down the hill.
Though our flight was delayed and we arrive very late someone still met us in Lindos and took us to the apartment. The owners also arranged a transfer for us and allowed us to leave our luggage on our last day which we very much appreciated. Vasilia is fantastic value for the money. Highly recommend.
Note Lindos can't take cars and is built on a hillside so some walking including uphill is always required, But we love this area its a beautiful place to stay.

location excellent, right under the Lindos acropoly, which is beautiful and a definite must to visit, and a short walk to restaurants, supermarkets, cafes etc. Also near the beach (though steps a little steep for older travellers). Really thoughtful to have some bread, milk, water, coffee etc already at the villa for the next day. Nice cleaning too.
just a few too many steps for old legs! Maybe could have had an extra blanket and pillows, though I'm sure they would have provided them if asked.

The location of the villa is great, the view over the Lindos bay is beautiful and amazing to wake up to every morning. Inside the villa is a traditional Lindian style with raised platform beds in each bedroom, which were generally comfortable, one room is a double and the other is a twin single. In the middle of the two bedroom is the small living room, however with such a lovely patio area, we hardly used it. The hosts were lovely and very helpful with everything that you need.
The facilities are just great, with a fridge freezer, microwave, oven and washing machine which are all in great order and very clean and tidy.
The town of Lindos is special and I haven't been to anywhere else like it, the myriad rooftop restaurants are all fantastic and the local people are very friendly. The beaches are fantastic, the sea very warm (even in October) and the snorkelling is great.
It's worth noting before I start that these points are only very minor and wouldn't prevent me booking again in a heartbeat.
The kitchen and bathroom are both a little bit dated, but the host did say that they were considering an update over the winter.
The only other slight inconvenience (although it didn't cause us any problems) is that the bathroom adjoins the kitchen, and to reach it from the furthest bedroom (the twin room) you either need to go via the patio, or through the other bedroom, this though is typical of a lot of Lindian Villas so not surprising and shouldn't put anyone off, just worth noting so that it isn't a surprise.

It was amazing location with a beautiful view. I loved the terrace where you can enjoy breakfast and the kids can run around because it's so big.
Nice was to arrive and have a welcome food pack with all you need to have a good breakfast.
Only thing was from the beach it was a 5min up heel walk.

Our stay in Villa Vasilia was great. The hosts, Vassia and her father, were extremely helpful, they met us in the main square of Lindos, helped us to reach the villa and provided us with a filled-up fridge to start our stay. The pictures in the booking website do not make justice to the house: there is a private terrace with the possibility of eating outside (and bbq!) and a fantastic view of the sea. In addition, Vassia passed by to clean the house every couple of days. The villa is five minutes walking from the beach and from the city centre. We could not ask for more and we would love to come back!

The villa is beautiful, and the view is absolutely amazing. We walked for no more than 10 minutes either to the beach, or to the acropolis. Our host, Vassia, took extra care of us and helped us with anything we needed. It was the perfect holiday location and we're definitely looking forward to returning next year!

This is old, traditional lindian house.Beds are on the platform called panga 🙂 Everything was clean, bed linens smelled fresh. Vassia was very nice and helpful. There were supplies in the fridge- water, juice, milk, ham& cheese. Bread, cereals, honey. Shampoo, shower gel in bathroom. AC works well. Terrace is great, equipped with sunbeds, big garden table and chairs. View is absolutely amazing. Location is great, 5 minutes walk to Acropolis. Overall good experience.
Bathroom needs renovation, I would definitely get rid of this sticky shower curtain( not dirty, just sticking to your body when taking shower). Sometimes there was unpleasant smell from sewage. There was this smell of old house, not very intense but still.

Description is mildly confusing. It’s a self contained villa, with doors opening to a private terrace with a private kitchen and private lounge. Not sure why they use the word “shared”. It’s not a complex but a separate residence. All good.

The house is very comfortable and there is much room to leave luggage (we were a group of 4).
The terrace is wonderful: by day you get a terrific view of the bay, by night it’s the perfect place to have dinner if you like to cook (it’s also possible to grill).
The host is very kind and ready to help whenever needed.
Last but not least, it’s very clean and close to the center of town (all restaurants in Lindos are less than 10 min walk).
Lindos is a very small and steep town, so it’s not possible to get to the house with a car. However, it is possible to arrange for someone to get your luggage with a little van.

I can not recommend Villa Vasilia highly enough. The property was lovely set in the quaint old town of Lindos and has a spacious veranda with a most stunning view over Lindos bay as well as being occupied by the sun all day. The soft sandy beach is only a short 5 minute walk away.
The Villa is well equipped with A/C in the lounge and bedrooms, WiFi, Sat TV (if you should feel the need!) and a nice kitchen.
Kostas and his family could not be more attentive to make sure everything is just right and by the same measure totally unintrusive leaving you to kick back, relax and enjoy your holiday.
My wife and I and our 15 year old son all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend Villa Vasilia to anyone.
There was nothing we didn’t like apart from we wish we had of booked up for longer.
