Exceptional

design was very heritage and nice, bed very comfortable

Toilet floor was wet! Don’t have wet and dry separate at shower area.

Utter and absolute epitome of a regret.

The location.

So much I could say but basically everything - the price, lack of swimming pool on the same hotel, my room was like a jail there were no windows and no wow factor for $500 a night, staff did not have attention to detail and kept messing up small tasks, then lacked empathy when I asked for a complimentary drink for a minor complimentary drink. Nothing about this is “5 star”

It was amazing and i loved their staff. Very frienedly and respectful.

It was fantastic. Clean and very comfortable. Location wise is also great! close to the mrt and alot of shops nearby.

Only one member of the staff that we met, when we arrived was incredible. The restaurant staff and the early morning staff were not very professional. The price also didn’t make sense

nice stay in the historic China town of Singapore

great location, slightly run down but the hotel has a unique charm. first two nights I wasn’t satisfied with my room, but staff provided me with a beautiful room for the rest of my stay.

slightly délabre.. but overall everything went ok

Would I stay here again? Probably not. I missed the big hotel amenities & better storage in room.

Beautifully decorated hotel lobby and Bar/restaurant area. Opium Room 2 has in room bar set up for self prepared cocktails! Friendly staff and eager to help. Don't always achieve what they promised but they always try!

Unstable in room wi-fi connection. Shower drain was plugged upon arrival, repaired while we were told to be in our room. Time wasted while on holidays. Security safe inoperable upon arrival. Replaced while bathroom drain being repaired, again, time wasted while on holidays. Loose light bulbs in room resulted in flickering lighting. Only one pillow choices - feather filled, not enough support Insufficient storage chest and cloth hanging capacity for a 1 week stay.

Interior design. Location , very delicious food ,especially Yellow Pot, Nice staff , very warm welcome, fine hospitality , friendly ,especially Hugo and young Singaporean staff at the Reception .

excellent spot for a connected trip to Singapore

excellent location close to public transport. staff very helpful and considerate.

there was no power point in the bathroom, the lighting was a bit too dim and the shower was very slippery

Staff were fabulous. Food in bar with club room was amazing.

Location was fabulous for exploring Chinatown Breakfast was ok but a bit basic … no hot food available

We had ti change room as bed in Opium Suite had railings around it so you couldn’t even get out of one side of it nor even use a bedside table. Bed in suite which they moved us too was much better but you had to climb up a step to get into the shower and bath… quite unsafe.

Location was good

Room theme was way too dark and dreary, with a lot of noise and clutter - making the room feel way smaller than it was. Lighting seemed off too. Just felt the real room was a far cry from the pictures. Toilet facilities - plumbing at the bath tub was poor, towels are thin and cheap. For the price that was paid, the whole experience was disappointing.

Unique boutique hotel in great location

Unique building and layout - renovated hotel in old shop houses. Staff are friendly and helpful, providing tips on how to book Grab cars, MRT tickets etc. Great location with lots of bars and restaurants in the area.

Very dark interior, but beautifully designed.

Well located, fantastic design.

Service was hit and miss - sometimes great, occasionally average. Staff need to follow up more and get to know the great bars and restaurants located nearby, to make recommendations

the interior design of the washroom (floor accumulated water after shower) it will be good to have a door so that the water will not flow out and living room the cable and socket area too short. can improved on ergonomic hazardous
