Enttäuscht

Der Pool war gut und die meisten Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und bemüht. Reinigung des Zimmers war ok.

In den Zimmern war ein unangenehmer Geruch und die Wäsche die man liegen lässt, z.B. die Pyjamas, ziehen diese Geruch an, so dass man noch länger was davon hat. Die Klimaanlage hat in unsere Zimmer extrem gestunken ( nach alten Stinksocken ) wir haben an der Rezeption angerufen, ein Mitarbeiter ist gekommen, hat die Klimaanlage mit Desinfektionsmittel für Klimaanlage besprüht und ( nach dem der Desinfektionsgeruch entflohen worden ist ) damit hat sich es mit dem Geruch der Klimaanlage erledigt 👍. Leider hat die Klimaanlage immer wieder laute Geräusche gemacht, so dass wir sie dann lieber aus gelassen haben. Zum Frühstück kann ich mich nur den anderen anschließen. Von mir bekommt es ungenügend. Kaffee war reiner Pulver Kaffee und so hat es auch geschmeckt, Nescafé hätte ich getrunken, die Auswahl ist klein, man glaub erst, dass da viel angeboten wird, ist aber eine Täuschung, es sind ein paar Sachen da, die sind nur oft wiederholen. Und es gibt überall viel Plastik, Plastikbecher zum trinken. Ich habe dann am zweiten Tag mein Frühstückt in der Bäckerei geholt und am dritten Tag hat die gesamte Familie auf das Frühstückt verzichtet. Wir wollten frühzeitig abreisen, da wir sehr enttäuscht waren, wir haben dann das Hotel angeschrieben mit der Bitte, und früher aus-zuchecken und die nicht verbachte Tage zurück zu erstatten. Es wurde uns ein Zimmer angeboten, aber keine Rückerstattung weil Booking das nicht zulassen würde laut dem Hotel. Ich fahre schon lange über Booking das war sehr enttäuscht für mich.

Good swimming pool poor customer service and customer care

The layout of the room was not well thought out. To access the plug we had to unplug the TV and refrigerator and we needed the refrigerator. It really isn't ideal to choose between the two. The beds were comfortable. View was not good but liked that we had a drying rack. The cost of the room was not worth the room.

Breakfast was awful. There were lots of awful choices. Everything except the croissants were awful. Staff barely spoke English and were young kids on a summer job. Customer service was poor. Our bedsheets were not changed for the whole week we were there. Towels were changed. The room floor barely cleaned. We have kids so sheets really should have been changed.

Not easy to find, and not convenient for non-Italians

The room was reasonably clean and the pool is big and nice

Hard to find the hotel (wrong location on google maps and not the actual one!), and after asking many people on the road, they all point to a hotel called Cala Gonone beach village, which is this one but a different name! this isn't very clear. The staff did not want to speak English! When we got lost, We called the hotel, and we asked if she spoke English to help us find the hotel location, She said no I don't speak, so we said well, we needed to arrive for our stay and we can not find the location, and only here she starts to speak English. We arrived late and tired in the evening during dinner time and asked if we could use their resto and, of course, we would pay for our meal; the answer was no, the resto is fully booked! We had a six years old child who was tired after our journey to find the hotel and no dinner! Finally, you have to pay for everything animation, a card to order drinks from the bar ( 5 euro and must be in cash). and quality of the food in Breakfast was very basic.

Excellent location close to the center. Train available to reach the beach and the port.

The reception was not prepared to for our arrival, had wrong informations from booking that apparently was “discordant” from our booking email confirmation email. Thankfully they were able to accommodate us anyway.

It is very nice situated hotel nearby (20 minutes nice walk) from city center with lot's of restaurants and shops. Despite live music, discotheques and parties nearby, it's a quite place and in the apartment there was calm. We appreciate how bongalows and whole hotel look like. Pool is clean, room also. Lots of trees and green grass. Nice is also helpful stuff.

It seems that nice hotel costs all the money and there is no more for quality food for the breakfasts for example. It's maybe weird, but if I can ask for any quantity of food, why somebody have to put it on my plate. There is a queue waiting for one person who'll give you free access croissant on Your plate. You cannot take it by yourself and it's not a quantity or hygienic matter. Maybe it's meant like super services, but actually nobody like it. Tasty was only food, which was external ( croissants, yogurts, fruit..) but self made f.e. eggs, sausages, juices, caffe, bacon or sweets is quite uneatable. Price to quality is I thing accurate. More expensive than +/- 70€ is not reasonable.

Good location, very poor services, not worth any money.

Only few things can be pointed out as nice and comforting. The location of the place is very good in close distance to the main Cala Gonone beach. Also enough space for free parking (unattended) is fine. If you have a car, you can easily reach the passage to the Cala Luna bay as well as the market in the city center. The hotel also provides a 'shuttle train' to the beach, which works during the day.

We got a room which was located in the basement, i.e., our view was just the AC unit, water boiler, and the sidewalk. Fortunately, the location of the room was far from the restaurant, bar and the swimming pool, which means it was quiet. Should we got a room near the noisy place, we would ask for a different one for sure. Another thing is the breakfast. I would certainly expect something different from a 4* hotel - not the same meal every morning (just look at the scrambled eggs you offer) and the overall quality of the food SHOULD be better. Offering a cheap supermarket sliced 'cheese' or salami, some no-name runny chocolate spread, and 'juice' form a concentrate that was something unexpected in Italy :( BUT the most horrible thing was the so-called coffee. You people should wake up - to get a decent cup of espresso in the morning is a standard. The machine was providing only a cup of a nightmare to drink.

The staff in Rezeption is fine, helpful. The staff at the pool and pool bar are also fine. Personal at the dinery hardly speaks any foreign language, so you do not have a chance to ask, what is being served. Breakfast does not have anough in the offer, for example: joghurt, fruit, cake, eggs were hard as a stone, the same at dinner. The same the menu, animation everything is only in Italien. It needs to be furnished, the furniture looks about the same age as me.

The experience could have been better

We rented our room, paying particular attention that AC was available: Cala Gonone is very hot in summer, so you need AC to sleep. Unfortunately, the AC in our room was broken. We went right after check-in to the front desk to ask for a solution. They told us they would fix it. Once we arrived back at the hotel late at night, the AC was still not working, and the front desk was extremely unhelpful. We had to push extremely hard until "magically" another room with a working AC was available. Complete lack of hospitality. Why didn't they change our room the first time we asked? or the second before it turned into a fight?

Definitely not a room for a four star resort

Good location, close to the beach, nice pool and beautiful environment inside and outside of a resort.

Our room had a very moldy smell and even our clothes and face mask got the smell. The refrigerator in our room didn’t work and when we told the stuff they repaired it, but it was barely working. The room was extremely basic and had no amenities and wi-fi. The hair dryer was barely working and after you used it, your hair and the whole room smell like burning. The room was very outdated and had very uncomfortable beds. It is really not a good value for a price. The breakfast was fine, but lacking in varieties.
