top locatie aan zee en op wandelafstand van kasteel

ontbijt is echt pover, terras van kamer was zo klein dat er maar plaats is voor 1 stoel. Lawaai van andere kamers omdat muren zo dun zijn.

Fantastic sea view from room. So romantic 💘

We really loved the sea view from our room. This hotel is very nice for couple. So romantic.

Some employees are very friendly, but others are a little careless.

A nice hotel with great staff and beach access

The included breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff was friendly and accomodating. And the beach was just steps away!

Stunning views in a friendly small hotel.

The view was spectacular. The property is right on the water with an unobstructed view right up the beach. It also faces into the sunset so from our room or the bar downstairs you get an unbelievable view.

Unfortunately it had an odd “drain” smell. I would say they needed some attention. It was off putting when you would arrive back in the room. Not pleasant.

Magical and majestic experience!

The location and service was excellent. We had a corner room overlooking the Mediterranean and castle.

We could hear loud music from the beach club from our room.

Good

The king suite was spacious, and we enjoyed having a private rooftop terrace attached to the room. The included breakfast was a nice added touch.

Bedding and bathrooms are pretty standard, nothing fancy.

It absolutely reeks, literally.

The room was a decent size and the bed was comfortable. Good coffee.

It reeked of air freshener. Like the whole hotel had been dunked in frutti-tutti vape fluid. I couldn't sleep it was so strong. We checked out asap. The full water view is half city.The chair on the "balcony" takes up the entire space.

Weekend in beautiful Peniscola.

Location is superb, views amazing! Great for exploring the castle and old town.

It was noisy at night but as it was the weekend it was understandable. Room was basic and smaller than we expected.

location by the sea

No elevator. had to walk up with heavy luggage. noisy. over a busy bar. music and loud patrons until late at night. minimal plug ins. One long pillow on bed. toilet too close to shower. breakfast was totally inadequate. coffee machine broken and no eggs.

Pleasant

Excellent location and view. No elevator. Nobody helps with luggage. We asked for chairs to put our luggage on and we got them the second day, after insisting a few times.

Hotel Muva Beach is THE BEST! The location was amazing, on the beach and right on the city walls. You can literally walk to everything you would want to visit. And despite what other reviews have said, you can park pretty close for a reasonable price. We parked by the marina (.2 away for about 8 euros a day). If arriving on a weekend, I recommend parking before 6 though. It looks like it gets pretty crowded. The beach is amazing. The water is calm, and there are beach rentals like chairs with umbrellas (we paid £9 each for the day), paddle boards, and slides on paddle boats (!?!) for really reasonable prices within a very short walk. The room was larger and more well-appointed than expected, and you can’t beat free breakfast overlooking the water. You should book here if staying in Peñíscola.

super location, great little hotel, enjoyed our stay

location, a great little hotel; great views, just a few steps from both the old town/castle and the beach; generally very friendly and helpful staff

Beach Bar (right below the hotel and same owner) play very loud music till 2 am. The bass frequencies resonated throughout the building.After complaining the next night, the music was less loud...that type of music is not what you expect at a chill beach bar. Management should also invest in a better coffee machine. Breakfast without great coffee is not a great way to start the day...

Amazing location by the sea. Fantastic views. Nice beach bar on ground floor. Reasonable breakfast.

Sadly, poor sound proofing meant that we could hear the music from the beach bar all night until the early hours of the morning. Not a great night sleep.

Exceptional

This is an exceptional boutique hotel. Its location is first class and the restaurant is brilliant. Can't emphasis how much we enjoyed it.

Parking is the only problem as it is in the old town so you have to park in an underground car park nearby which comes in at €29 a day. Suitcases would be a struggle.
