Opzich prima

De lokatie is prettig, je zit op loopafstand van diverse restaurants (bezoek ook eens mojomarket een soort street food markt) en centraal om alle highlights te bezoeken. De douche was goed, het bed redelijk, er was een grote tv met netflix (voor het onvoorspelbare weer soms heel fijn!) ontbijt heel goed en er was een relaxte tuin met zwembad wat er gezellig uit zag maar waar wij verder geen gebruik van hebben gemaakt. Koelkast op de kamer, en een keuken waar je gebruik van de magnetron, waterkoker en servies kunt maken.

Wij hebben er 5 nachten gezeten en het is geen een keer schoongemaakt, ook moesten we zelf vragen om nieuwe handdoeken en een nieuwe rol wcpapier. Niet alles was schoon ook in de rest van het hotel. Ook is het erg gehorig, zo heb je overdag de herrie van het bouwproject tegen het hotel aan (hier kunnen ze natuurlijk niks aan doen) en savonds als het tegen zit van je buren want het is een oud huis met krakende vloeren, dunne wanden en enkel glas. Ook vonden wij het vervelend dat ze de achterdeur savonds afsluiten waardoor je niet meer buiten kunt zitten als je dit zou willen.

Wir hatten eine tolle Unterkunft und unsere Kinder wären am liebsten direkt eingezogen!

Wir hatten das komplette Haus (Pomelo) zur Verfügung und es hat nichts gefehlt. Alles war da, samt Nespresso-Maschine. Wir wurden sehr herzlich und persönlich von Zack und seinem Kollegen empfangen. Außerdem gab es eine Liste mit vielen Empfehlungen für Aktivitäten bzw Lokalen in der unmittelbaren Umgebung und über die ganze Stadt/Region verteilt. Die abzuarbeiten lohnt sich!

Pleasant

Breakfast was great, as was the bed. Good location.

The couple in the adjoining room, spoke quite loudly well into the early hours of the morning. This should not be an issue, but it was, so are the walls thick enough?

Bella struttura accogliente, ottima colazione

L’alloggio è stato arredato con particolare gusto, questo lo rende estremamente accogliente e caloroso. Lo staff è molto disponibile, ed tutto è ben organizzato. Ottimo anche il servizio della colazione.

Perfect place to visit Cape Town; very safe, lovely breakfast & clean rooms!

Great safe location, lovely breakfast and great staff serving every morning!

The shower was a little old but that was a minor detail.

Clean property, clean room and bathroom; friendly staff. Breakfast was really cute and tasty

Everything! So cute, vintage vibes yet so modern.

We were warned about the construction next door, so that’s fine - but it still wasn’t nice to be woken up before 7am on a Saturday.

Hervorragende Unterkunft in Seapoint als Startpunkt in Kapstadt

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, die Betten sind super bequem und das Frühstück hervorragend. Auch die Lage ist sehr praktisch und sicher. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben

Nur das Bad hätte etwas größer sein können, aber ansonsten war alles perfekt

Pareltje in Sea Point

Een heerlijke guest house op een toplocatie. Zack heeft ons waardevolle tips gegeven waardoor we ons snel op ons gemak voelden. Fijne ruime kamer en smakelijk ontbijt.

Great location, great host and great value for money!

Zack is a wonderful and friendly host. The house has a laid-back feel which makes you instantly feel comfortable and at home. The rooms are spacious and the guest house is very well located in central Sea Point.

We enjoyed our stay and there is nothing we did not like. We can highly recommend Sweet Orange guest house to anyone visiting Cape Town.

Rooms are spacious, have black out curtains & a comfortable king sized bed. House has a wonderful backyard that will make for great poolside vibes in the summer. Will definitely be back

We had a great stay at Cape Town.

Great guesthouse, with very friendly hosts.

The wake-up was bit rough every morning due to the construction activities. Fortunately they only start at 8am. Good reason to get up early ;)

It’s so wonderfully styled and located. Although we were there while there was some construction happening next to the building, it did not affect the warm welcome we received and the most comfortable stay possible. Highly recommend !

Amazing and very helpful staff. They definitely go the extra mile for their guests. The room is beautiful, the food is great. There is construction going on next door which the staff apologizes for even though it isn't at all their fault. The noise really isn't a big inconvenience. It didn't start before 8 am and we were out visiting all day and weren't bothered at all by the noise. The hotel even gives free ear plugs but we didn't even need them. There's no noise during the night. The door is even sound proof. The hotel isn't on the main road so we aren't bothered by noise but it's close. Great location for restaurants.

A home away from home

What a wonderful experience. Zack and his team of wonderful, kind, and friendly ladies made this guest house feel like my home for 4 days. They bent over backward to make my stay a very memorable one. Breakfast every morning was a feast with some great options. The Turkish eggs were so delicious. The bed was extremely comfortable, not too hard, not too soft, just perfect to slip away into a wonderful deep sleep. The location is perfect, walking distance to many great restaurants and of course the sea front. The internet speed was fast, and I never had any issues. I worked 8 hours a day and never experienced any issues.

Our stay at the Sweet Orange was super sweet! We’ll be back again!

Really cosy and warm atmosphere, well themed throughout. Small thoughtful touches like the double doors, makeup towel, activities board and earplugs made our stay memorable. Delicious breakfast!

Couldn’t have our evening tea, well provisioned for coffee drinkers. The complimentary water in the room may not have been refreshed prior to our stay.

We had a really great stay. The staff was great and super friendly, the breakfast was extraordinary and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The interior of the rooms is really well done and somebody payed attention to details. We loved it here and would def come back :-)

I liked everything about this place. The stuff was so friendly and the room was so clean and beautiful. Ooohhh the breakfast was bomb!!!!it tasted so good. The location is also great you can walk to the beach.
