Séjour très agréable.

Hôtel très bien situé dans Divonne-Les-Bains, confortable, propre, calme avec une déco Art-Déco qui est bien dans cet établissement lui même d’architecture Art-Déco.

Un rafraîchissement des moquettes et des tapisseries seraient bien

A real grand hotel, with a beautiful ambiance.

This is still a really Grand Hotel that is kept in style and therefore is breathing a special ambiance that I really like, with furniture in the room that brings you back to former days, but which is very well kept and renovated, very well done. The rooms are large, the outside pool in a quiet garden setting, the breakfast can be enjoyed on the terrace in summer, there is plenty of room for parking the car, all really comfortable. Staff was really very welcoming and helpful.

Appalling service at dinner - and had to wait 1 hour for the main course.

Comfortable room.

Staff were a bit off hand at check in. We arrived at 3.30 pm and our room was not ready which we understood. But it was still not ready at 4pm and we had to wait another 15 minutes before we were given access.

Pour rester dans l'esprit des années 50 , rien, mais pour amélioré le confort 2023 , les canalisations , les portes difficiles à fermer et on a apprécié de revenir en arrière. Sympa. Le prix de la nuit pour dépenser son argent au casino est très correct, surtout pour une nuit écourtée. Par contre on a pas pu réserver une table au restaurant en réservant une semaine à l'avance, dommage, car le restaurant du casino actuellement fait snack. .

L'hotel est très agréable, les lieux sont très beaux.

J'ai apprécié la décoration, la souplesse du sol surtout dans les couloirs, la gentillesse du personnel.

La chambre était trés bien, mais on y voit les traces du temps qui passe, par exemple un faux plafond dans l'entrée qui baille ( s'arrondie vers le bas) et dans la salle de bain, l'eau coule sous la porte est mouille le tapis. Les joins de la douche mériteraient un peu d'attention car ils deviennent orange (à traiter). Le reste etait impécable.

Inexplicablement mauvais

Architecture, deux personnes nous ont été sympathiques parmi le personnel de l'hôtel

L'un des pires séjours de ma vie. J'ai été très surpris de constater à posteriori que c'était en fait les pires commentaires booking qui représentaient le mieux mes quelques jours à l'hôtel. Peut-être un manque de chance mais je ne m'explique vraiment pas les bons commentaires de cet établissement. Accueil déplorable, les chiens ne sont vraiment pas les bienvenus malgré ce qui est annoncé. Hormis le laisser dans la chambre ou sortir de l'hôtel, vous ne pourrez rien faire avec votre chien, toutes les parties communes ne lui sont pas accessibles, y compris les espaces extérieurs comme la terrasse du bar ou les transats. (Nous voyageons très souvent avec notre animal, nous n'avions jamais reçu pareil traitement, que ce soit dans des établissements type AirBnB ou dans des palaces). La chambre est petite et vétuste, tâches d'humidité sur les murs, moquette défraichie. La machine a café ne fonctionnait pas dans la chambre, seule solution apportée par l'hôtel : venir en prendre un à la réception gratuitement, 4 étages et un dédale de couloirs plus loin. Malgré une réservation directement à la réception lors de notre arrivée, celle-ci n'a pas été transmise au restaurant et l'accueil qui nous y a été réservé était pour le moins surprenant, on est généralement mieux reçu dans un McDo, heureusement notre serveur était fort sympathique. La nourriture n'est pas du tout au niveau attendu, peu de saveurs, entrées préparées à l'avance et réfrigérées si bien que le poisson arrive dans l'assiette presque congelé, nous n'y avons pas remis les pieds et tous nos repas après ça furent très agréables dans les autres hôtels voisins. En résumé, un hôtel très loin de ses 4* avec un rapport qualité prix inexplicablement bas. Le sentiment général d'être dans un établissement hautain qui se complait dans une forme de prestige passé plutôt que de rénover et de remettre en question le niveau de service

A beautiful authentic luxury hotel, with great views and excellent amenities

The room was well equiped and very comfortable with a fantastic view; the heated pool was very enjoyable even by end of September. The bar and restaurant were excellent and prices were overall excellent value for money ! We had a fantastic time and would definitely stay there again.

The lack of a jacuzzi in the spa was a bit of a let down. On the day we were there, both the sauna and the hamam were set way too high for anyone to stay longer than 10 seconds.

A lovely spot away from the hustle and bustle of modern life.

The art deco interiors. The beautiful, huge old trees in the gardens. The air conditioning that functioned but was not to arctic freezing temperatures, as so many hotels are!

Majestic Hotel

Beautiful hotel. Large room with very comfortable bed ! Breakfast on the terrace was perfect and there was an amazing selection. Pool with plenty of comfortable loungers and plenty of towels. Walking distance to Divonne.

Bar prices rather high! Pool was difficult to get in and out of. Ladders very shaky and slippery. Paddling pool was very slippery !!!

Truly awful-think some of the other reviewers on this platform are not real

Breakfast was lovely and the hotel is an impressive building although it seems so dated. This is actually my first review on this platform and even on TripAdvisor I always err to the positive reviews. I feel like the reviews on this platform are misleading and contrived. They give an impression of the hotel that is simply not true. I am conscious that other guests may want to hear the reality before booking.

Service from reception to bar to restaurant were just awful. Think it was the general manager that was pleasant but his colleagues were just rude and checking in was not the welcome to the hotel that I was hoping for. There is no one to assist with bags, accessibility is a real issue. The decor is so dated and basically brown. I waited at least 30 mins for a drink at the bar when there was one customer ahead of me. At least 4 other guests gave up waiting. The room (which I had upgraded) was seriously sub par. Stains on the walls, faded 1980s pictures on the wall. The shower leaked, the bed was so springy that it clearly needed replacing. The pool area has potential however there were stains all round the pool and it is not heated as advertised. The restaurant was ok however the food was falsely advertised. The ‘Guinea fowl’ was chicken and the desert was definitely not hand made. There were trainee waiters and you had to pour your own wine and water. It wasn’t just us, an elderly couple making skeptical eyes to each other and then to me. Breakfast was lovely and on a separate terrace however the hotel had someone outside strimming for the duration. Guests could not converse, the allergies were kicking in and people grabbing for tissues. This hotel was simply not 4 star in any way. I left at 10am when checkout was until 12pm. I am usually the last to leave! Just so disappointed.

Very relaxing and comfortable stay. To be repeated.

Not my first stay at this hotel. I like its character and interior design. Tasty and reach breakfast. Very comfortable bed. Good value for money.

After fulfilling my request for a real Mt. Blanc view instead of a central tree view my remarks are related only to the overpriced breakfast - in my opinion.

Lovely hotel location breakfast and room

The hotel allows dogs but also allows dogs in the breakfast room. Unfortunately one dog wasn’t able to wait and used the breakfast area as a toilet which obviously is not conducive to enjoying your breakfast. Dogs in our opinion should not be allowed into the eating area in view of the risk of this happening.

the location is excellent, within walking distance from all restaurants and shops , the place is clean, the breakfast is amazing.rooms are spacious.

Room services are not answering if you want to order any meals. Also, the WIFI is terrible, interrupting every 5-10mintues and no one to complain as nobody is answering
