Very nice

Breakfast was excellent. We had the smoked salmon omelette . Also everything you need for a breakfast buffet 😋

The shower could have done with a bit of (de) mold . Don't get me wrong it wasn't bad but a quick spray with some mould killer & leave it for half day & it's sorted. Room was clean sheets etc / bedding no dust anywhere either . Lovely place for the price we paid. Oh the Bluetooth mirror in the bathroom is bang on for a sing along in thr shower 😄

La habitación que me dieron era en un anexo al hotel, techo muy bajo y realmente pequeña y sin ningún tipo de aislamiento acustico. El anexo junto al pàrquing.

The Swan Inn...lovely locale

Lovely site with a water wheel (mill), as the name implies. The kitchen was technically just closed as we arrived shortly before 3pm but they offered a sandwich or fresh pizza. Since it's an Italian restaurant, we chose pizza & they were wonderful!

We could only book rooms in the Lodge vs. the hotel, so the rooms with full-size beds were a bit cramped, but the beds were quite comfortable.

Overall, a pleasant hotel but overpriced for the area.

Hotel was very pretty, in a very nice area. Room was comfy, nicely decorated.

The room had a stinking view of the car park and other building. The other window was located next to a spiral staircase where multiple members of staff were using throughout the morning, often looking in to the room. Also, there was a £10 charge to use the car park per day, which seemed a little bit strange especially for travellers staying for a longer period of time.

Perfect getaway!

Located near to the city of Bath, it is a great choice especially those who are travelling with kids. We had lovely, clean and spacious rooms! Breakfast was great with such a stunning view of the river! Ellie at the reception was so sweet and helpful! Definitely will come & stay again!

We went to celebrate our sons wedding in Bath and this hotel was only a short taxi ride.

Location was great right next to the river and close to bath. The breakfast was really good and the staff helpful.

Comfortable venue. Lovely views of the river. Staff friendly and helpful

Room was clean and comfortable. Quiet too as didn’t hear any other guests whilst in the room. Adequate for a couple nights stay

Bad

We couldn’t stay as I was sick so parked car in car park to explain . They offered no refund so returned straight home. One week later had a parking demand for £100 for the 10 mins we went in to hotel to explain we couldn’t stay . I’m not complaining about not having a refund for room but £100 for parking your car for 10 mins is absolutely unacceptable.

Location is beautiful, peaceful and convenient for getting to the city. Decor is very tastefully done. Extremely clean and well presented.

Exceptional

Breakfast was excellent, really good quality, the staff were always friendly. The water mill adds a really good feel to the place, and the location is picturesque.

The only negative comment would be that the exterior is a bit tatty, but I feel they are making renovations. The staff don't need to apologise so much, it may make people think its not a good hotel, when it's a lovely hotel.

The water wheel was interesting. The pillow was good. The dinner was very nice. The view was lovely.

The room was very basic. Floors tiles, so noise from upstairs was very bad. We were there 2 nights and different people both nights, so it wasn't just them. The drain blocked up in the shower and basin, we reported it, so the handyman came and said it was unblocked, but it was still blocked again that night. Breakfast was not great. They told us to make a time so we did and when we got there no table for us. So we had to wait they then seated someone who came in after us. The food had run out the coffee had run out, we had to wait for everything. They had 3 beers on tap and ran out of 2 of them after 1 beer. The worst thing was the house keeping did not lock our door after "cleaning" on the second day of our stay.

Although the room was very small, it was clean and comfortable. The location of the property was absolutely brilliant. Breakfast was very good and the staff were more than helpful. All in all we had a fantastic weekend at the Old Mill...THANK YOU!

Perfect for us

The room was cleaned, exactly what we needed, somewhere to sleep and relax after exploring Bath. The breakfast was so nice, the staff were extremely helpful and lovely. The man on reception was very nice and chatty. The location was perfect for us. We would definitely stay again.

The only thing I would say is the pillows were not comfortable but I do have a memory foam pillow which I should have taken with me.

It met our requirements

The bed was comfortable, the breakfast was very good; it is a lovely area with walks along the river, quiet. The Wifi worked well. The staff were welcoming and a tad psyhic (my wife, having finished cooked breakfast, went to get toast; the staff lady removed her disused plate, noticed she'd need a new knife, returned with one, only to meet my wife returning, asking "Do you think???, Oh you've got me one". Nothing said: but very much appreciated (Think staff lady maybe Ukrainian?)

Bit disappointed we couldn't get evening meal on Monday or Tuesday (but we'd chosen the wrong days to stay)

Very mixed up

Location

The breakfast was abysmal. Cold eggs and bacon as tough as shoe leather. Room was okay but built inside some dodgy portacabin block if you go.. use the restaurant over the bridge. Great food!!

A very nice stay in a convenient location. Be prepared to pay extra for parking.

The location is excellent, right by the river and lovely bridge. Easy to get in to Bath on the bus.

Not many parking spaces, you have to pay extra to park, and the car park is a bit tight.
