Our stay was good and satisfactory.

The room was spacious and facilities were sufficient for our stay. We only slept overnight and didn't use any dinning or other facility. We would return at a later date if required.

Unclean and overpriced.

Location.

Cleanliness was very poor. Bed linen and towels were stained with hairs in the beds, dust everywhere, shower dirty, cups dirty with hairs on them. We had to sleep on top of duvets as so unclean. Also, the top of the stairs are a death trap. Unacceptable for an inflated price. We were visiting a very poorly family member, and this was a choice based on limited options. Never again, terrible and only glad we didn't decide to have breakfast there. I have posted only a couple of photos as too many.

It was close to the beach and a nice walking area.

It was very loud at night and the shower didn’t work well.

Carnoustie

Perfect location for the golf with easy access and good parking.

Reasonably basic breakfast and rooms weren't looked at all week so no fresh towels.

Basic but adequate for a short stay.

Good location with carpark though there are no marked spaces so space is wasted. Room was basic but beds were comfortable and clean and electric shower was easy to use. Sockets are international which is helpful for foreign visitors. Tea and coffee in room (though the milk pod I opened was off so best to check before pouring!!). Staff are helpful.

I think a few instructions in the room would would help eg how to activate the radiator (it had an electronic thermostat but not clear how to switch it on) and how to use the television. There are soap dispensers in the shower but no soap so these should either be removed or filled. It’s not a high star rated facility so there’s no hairdryer.

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Rooms were excellent as well.

Only a minor point but the water pressure in the bathroom sink wasn't good.

Comfy and cosy stay

Comfy beds, bottled water a big bonus, clean, helpful staff

Confusing check in service and not clear what to do at breakfast. Showerhead and shower let down an otherwise lovely bathroom. Decor needs a little sorting in terms of the paintwork in the room

Just ok

Location was really good. Own key to get in at night.

No soap or shower gel in bathroom. Bed kept moving. Blinds were filthy. Very noisy first thing in the morning.

wonderful - my sons didn’t want to leave!

The room was perfect for three of us to stay and very comfortable. Great location and staff were fab. we will be back.

it would be helpful to have some gluten free kids food choices on the menu. the chef was great in customising a dish for my son on our first night. but we would have eaten there more if there was more of a gf selection, as our non gf options were delicious!

Very friendly classic Inn Hotel with well-appointed room and great Inn food.Great location for Carnoustie golf courses and for National Cycle Route 1.

Very loud busy pub down below poor sleep

it was a clean and comfortable room The restaurant downstairs is very nice the food was lovely and the waiting staff were absolutely wonderful

was not told wifi password The kettle was very small The window handle has been broken off making it difficult to close the window it was Saturday night and it was never mentioned it was a busy late night pub downstairs. the music and party revellers were very loud until until gone 12:30 am. it seems to be the village nightclub

Best Pub hotel in Carnoustie would recommend 2 a family of 4 , couples or Golf buddies . Beach 5min

Never stayed at a pub hotel b4 due 2 circumstances and esp with my dad being disabled I was a bit sceptical we had 2 rooms surprisingly spacious and clean & From Robbie To the Staff 10☆'s , train got cancelled on Sunday , checkout was 10am so was in a bit of pickle with Dad & 3hrs of waiting , we were allowed to checkout when we could was a great gesture from the hotel

Lovely staff who couldn't have been more helpful. Nice comfy room with tea / coffee, wifi and sky tv
