Good stay

The outside of the hotel looks a bit ominous however inside the communal areas are lovely and staff very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were comfortable and clean

I would have preferred a seperate shower and not a shower over a bath but I managed fine

Excellent help and service for the staff. Convenient hotel for our trip to Chepstow for a concert. Recommend

Good location, parking was good. Room was very comfortable. Breakfast excellent as were the staff.

Thoroughly enjoyed: friendly and helpful staff; comfortable bed and good night’s sleep.

Lovely reception area, bar and restaurant. Clean and comfortable bedrooms. We really appreciated that we were able to have an early breakfast due to our need to depart early for a competition.

The bedrooms/ bathrooms were a little more worn and dated than the rest of the hotel areas and facilities. However, everything was very clean.

Convincing First stay at Holiday Inn

Thought breakfast was excellent. Reception and lobby area were good too, beds were very comfy

Was not clear whether breakfast was included or not. In fact we were told it was on first day but that told it wasn’t the next day. Beds were very comfy although room felt a bit run down but overall very satisfied

Good bed for the night when visiting the ICC.

Really convenient to the ICC. Perfect for an overnight. Nice atmosphere and friendly efficient staff.

Nothing stand out. The shower was a little dated.

Good stay.

Stay was overall good and staff polite and helpful when I could not get in to room on 3 rd card they had to come at midnight with key. Offered to swap room but too late for me to do this.

More milk in rooms Price difference between my stay and friends and they had breakfast included.

Hidden gem of a hotel

Friendly accommodating staff, lovely hotel, fantastic food and drink......right price . This makes it ten times the hotel that it is, even better than the place on the opposite side of the road with its ryder cup golf heritage!!!!!

Excellent Holiday Inn hotel.

Very accommodating re booking an extra night due to illness. Reception staff were excellent and helpful with our requests and information. Breakfast was very good. Overall very comfortable

I enjoyed how close the property was to our activity for the weekend. And

There was no lifts. So it was hard for my mum to use the stairs all the time. I wasn’t aware the property had no lifts so I would have called ahead.

Friendly staff, good food, comfortable beds!

From the moment we arrived, the staff were all friendly and helpful. After a difficult journey and deciding to stop unexpectedly we had a 'bonus' night away in a lovely hotel. Very comfortable beds, and very good food in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Thank you so much.

In the bedroom some of the decor needed a little bit of updating.

Disappointing when having to remind staff of our request for ground floor rooms & not being given th

We had booked 2 nights stay,Monday 11th September & Thursday 14th Septemberthe staff were helpful & friendly

When I booked t the rooms ,I requested ground floor rooms as my husband,brother-in-law & Inare disabled,when we were checked in the rooms were on 1st floor & there is no lift in the hotel,it wasn’t until II sister that we were given ground floor rooms wenwere given them,I had also rung & emailed the hotel before our arrival to remind them of our request ,then to find on arrival we were told they couodn’t comply with our request,they did after sone time give us an upgradede ground floor rooms,before leaving the hotel next day I spoke to a receptionist about our next booking on the 14th September & said we had requested ground floor rooms,that we were given on arrival,the sink plug in room 333 was not working the next morning which made things difficult when using the sink,we reported it before we left

Good stay overall after initial problems. Nice polite friendly staff.

After being given the wrong room and reporting the issue it took minutes by the friendly staff to change the room to an executive room.

Given a twin room and not a double that had AC problems and the shower was defective.

very warm, no air-condition in my room, had to keep the window open all night and had a bird flying in, not really a problem

The ac in the room leaked . And leaked all into my bag there wa a pool of water in my bag . And I asked somone to come and do house keeping no one did !!
