Disappointing

Not much

Tired room. Dated decoration, bathroom floor not very clean. Very noisy corridors. Overpriced considering that it's not on the front line by the sea. Not good value for money or service.

Very pleasant, nice people.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. The room is really nice with an excellent bathroom. All was very clean.

The breakfast room was to busy, it’s not a big space and there are queues. The staff was very helpful but the layout brings a lot of constraints to the usage of the room. If they could improve there it would be a better experience, I love to take a quiet and peaceful breakfast.

Comfortable stay with a couple of flaws

We had a spacious room with a very comfortable bed, breakfast was perfect, we used with pleasure small but nice relaxing spa. The hotel has a very good location in the centre of O Grove, in the second line, and next to town's harbour. Very clean room and all premises; friendly staff, a little bit speaking English but willing to help very much, we got all the answers and advices. The common roof terrace offers beautiful sea view and a nice comfortable relaxing area.

Our standard room was located on the 3rd attic loft floor; it had no window with any view, only small skylight window, what I didn't expect in 4* hotel, and there was nothing about it in the description of the room. Parking in the hotel's basement is very challenging, with two 90 degree turns and a narrow street entrance; it's very small and absolutely not suitable for a wide or long car, luckily our car is medium sized; other option is to find on-street parking space in a harbour, what was very possible.

Modern comfort just off a buzzing sea food destination

A lovely surprise just off the seafront. Very modern, quite stylish hotel. The room was compact but well appointed with a generous attic style bathroom. Great terrace didn't have a sea aspect but a charming view over well kept kitchen gardens. The buffet breakfast was very good with a comprehensive and fresh range of choices in a bright dining room with the potential for a terrace - which we didn't use. The hotel very central for masses of seafood restaurants as well as the harbour and promenade walks.

This is a modern hotel and so inevitably a little anonymous. Staff are courteous and pleasant. Everything very efficient and clean. Very relaxing and comfortable when that's what you're looking for.

Small room, good matress, small sheets, outdated bathroom

I enjoyed the quality of the matress

I disliked the sheets that didn't fit the bed size. The room itself was very small and the bathroom was outdated and not fitting the hotel's 4 stars. The photos were very deceiving, showing a big room, when in fact it was very small.

Disappointing for the price.

The breakfast was excellent. The room was very clean and the location was ideal.

There was a sticker on the coffee maker in our room that said there would be a charge of 1.80 euro for each coffee pod. I didn't see it until after I had put a pod in the machine. And then the machine didn't even work. We paid extra for spa access but when we checked in we were told the spa was not available to us because it was fully booked. I went to the spa anyway and asked for a booking and had no trouble getting an appointment for that evening. The front desk staff was not very welcoming.

We had a great time in Grove! Very impressed with all the measures applied at breakfast to make sure we are safe (individually rapped plates with ham and cheese, dedicated person serving eggs etc)
