Urlaub De Brenkberg 2024

Sauber, freundlich, super Lage....... absolut empfehlenswert und wir kommen zu 100% wieder!!!

A nice cabin in the woods for a short stay.

It’s very spacious, and the park wasn’t very busy so it was quiet. We stayed in and didn’t visit anywhere local.

Perhaps the cabin was a little worn and old but perfectly adequate. The fridge smelt strongly of some previous occupants’ food!

Very good

Kids could move/play around and our friends chalets were close enough. Big playground was just 3mins walk and its free if you get 'muntjes' from the reception. Staffs were friendly.

House cleaning is only once and throughout our 8 days stay. Requesting change of bedsheets or extra towels may result in extra cost. Trash dont get picked up either. The double bed was not very comfortable, we all had a stiff neck in the morning

Excellent base to explore area

Excellent base to explore surrounding area as on border of Germany and Holland. Close enough to Maastricht to nip in and amazing Valkenburg. Very clean chalet and fit 6 of us very comfortably. Also if you ask in reception get free tokens for ace play-park next door.

Is in the flight path for some big jets but didn’t bother us at all. Kids thought was amazing. Apart from the odd one flying over extremely quiet but did make us jump first time.

Clean mobile home for short stays

Clean, looks like new, mobile home, good amenities, restaurant onsite, easy, fast check-in and contactless check-out. Ok for short stays.

To be expected of a mobile home but not for the price value: beds not that comfortable. Thin walls, you can hear people talking/ partying with music until the early morning. Too warm when we arrived, mainly due to the big, clear window at the dining/ living area facing the setting sun. Moreover, this window is facing the common grass area & terrace of other accommodations, giving little to no privacy. Partially solved by closing the curtains which is a pity as the surrounding view (apart from the direct sight of neighbors' activities) looked nice. Restaurant service for dinner was quite slow and second round of drinks did not arrive until we are finished with our meal and we the 3rd time before paying for our bill.

Christmas stay 2022

We are from the uk and we stayed during Christmas and the Location for snowworld and valkenburg was spot on which is what we wanted. The cabin was lovely and cosy beds were super comfortable and shower was amazing.

A few things that could be noted. Dishwasher don't really work very well at all, there no electric kettle that's a let down and no oven another let down, the front bedroom curtains could do with being thicker as that street light shines thru sooo bad and if u like it dark to sleep u won't be sleeping we had to hook our towels over the curtain just so room was dark enough to sleep. We ordered a pizza and obviously when it arrived the young lad on a push bike could not find us and our uk phone number didn't work so he asked in the bistro where the point blank refused to show him our cabin I thought that was very rude our children were hungry and in end we got a very cold pizza.

Clean unit. Small but practical. Kitchen is good. Liked the separate toilet.

Very small rooms. Not much room to move around. Unit is okay during the cooler months, but would be hot during the warmer months (there is no air-conditioning). Would not recommend staying here during summer. We think the unit is over priced.

It's a clean property.

It was the first time that we stayed in a place that they asked us to do some works before leaving like taking out all the bed sheets and empty the bins ourselves. It's a lot of work when you are in hurry.

People from a neighboring bungalow grabbed our numbered parking spot! The welcome message we received said that at Bistro Het Vervolg we can enjoy a delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner... But it was constantly closed!

Great stay

We have now stayed here several times to visit friends who live locally. This has been our best stay yet. There have been many improvements made since our last stay, we ate and drank in the onsite bistro, the staff were friendly and helpful and the food well cooked and tasty. We couldn't of asked for better.

Great location, last minute booking but host very welcoming. Accommodation more than big enough, very clean and well equipped. The park is also very quiet.

Good location for our MTB activities

Nicely located in a forest, near a MTB trail network. Heating and warm water worked good. Kitchen had plenty amenities (good stove, fridge, microwave), beds were ok. Parking possibilities next to the chalet. Recreational options nearby, accessibility from major roads. Staff was friendly. It was quiet during the night (we stayed during the week!)

Pretty cramped up space lacking room for luggage. There is some wear and tear on furniture, like the couch was worn. An electric water kettle instead of a regular one is welcome and also an extra backing pan. Lacking the option to dim the interior lights. They were bright as stadium lights. Adding some privacy tape on the lower part of the windows would be welcome. The chalet to me was just big enough to host 4 people, or a family with 2 kids. The fact you have to pay for 6 people on tourism tax, even when you occupy the chalet with less people is weird. We were warned for the possibility of bike theft. We choose to store them inside since it were only 2 MTB's by readjusting furniture. 4 Bikes won't fit so bring extra locks.
