都会の真ん中でリフレッシュ

豪華なホテルでした。屋外プールで泳いだ後のサウナ、大浴場が最高のリフレッシュタイムになりました。言葉が分からなくても、スタッフが面倒見てくれます部屋はハーバービューにグレードアップしてくれました。

愛河景觀

這麼貴的房間，連贈送一小包餅乾零食都沒有，只有幾包沖泡茶包和即溶咖啡，很小氣。河景房只有一小塊寬度不到一公尺的景觀。車站接送要預約、要另外付費，真的很小氣。大門行人步道是階梯，無障礙不友善。往捷運和輕軌的步道品質不良、障礙多，很難逛。

Geräumiges Zimmer mit schöner Aussicht Früher Checkin möglich, da Zimmer schon fertig war Gepäckservice Sehr schöne Eingangsbereich Spa Bereich mit mehreren Warmbecken Japanische Toilette und großzügiges Bad

Organisation des Frühstück: man muss als Hotelgast eine Nummer ziehen und auf einen freien Platz warten, da auch externe dort speisen können Hektische und laute Atmosphäre im Speisesaal, viel los (wir waren dort übers Wochenende) Keine Aussicht beim Frühstück, obwohl sich das Restaurant im 43. Stock befand. Auswahl des Frühstücksbuffet groß aber hauptsächlich asiatisch geprägt. Nur zwei Kaffeeautomaten für die Masse an Gästen Personal, das abräumte war übermotiviert. (Man hatte noch nicht komplett ausgegebenen, schon wieder der Teller abgeräumt) Generell viel Durchgangsverkehr, da Store angrenzt, mehrere (öffentliche) Restaurants im Hotel angegliedert sind

The location is very nice, and the department store is adjacent to the hotel, so if you want to go shopping, it is within proximity. There is a local night market within walking distance for Taiwanese food, but the big night market near the Love River will need taxi to get there. The staff is very knowledgeable about the location and what to do around.

Do shop around for package deal. I booked this on booking.com without realizing that they were having a promotion for taking the cruise to the port and other things included. So it's a bit pricey compared to the deal my sister got from their website

The buffet breakfast has some local Kaohsiung food. Free Parking.

the room is damp, plain paper tends to become soggy. The shampoo and shower gel felt cheap, no hair conditioner.

Old and dirty

The building itself and the lobby are really beautiful, the seaview from the room was also very nice.

The room was not clean, there were hair and some kind of bloodstaines on the bedsheets. Plastic-garbage was left on the ground. The whole room was old and smelly, and it looked like it stayed the same for 30 years. The bathroom was in no good condition, the shower had mold in its corners. The bathtub wasnt working! I wanted to take a bath but the water kept draining away, until i realized the drain wouldnt close properly. Also the breakfeast wasnt really great, there were no egg dishes except for hard boiled eggs and the juice was not fresh but artificial. For some "fancy" 5 stars" hotel the grand hi lai diappointed us completely and we wasted a lot of money for a stay that you would expect in a 2 star hotel. I clearly dont recommend this hotel !

You can have a stay at HiLau grand hotel for holiday or work, worth it.

The service is nice, also the facility and room are clean. The room is same as the picture on the hotel’s website. The most impressive one is the sauna! Better than any hotels that I’ve stay in Taiwan.

The indicator from parking lot to the hotel is confusing, we got lost in the department store and couldn’t found the location of reception desk with our luggage. Few of chairs in the lobby for guests. While we carrying our all luggages and waiting for our car at the lobby after check-out.

I was pleased but I think the Ambassador is cheaper and offered more.

it was beautiful and clean. it felt luxurious. the staff was kind and attentive.

I didn’t like that pool, saunas weren’t open. I thought they were when I booked the room and think the price was too high not have those available. I think the twin beds were a bit too small for adults especially for the price. because of the holiday we were told our room wouldn’t be cleaned. we were there for 3 nights and didn’t even get our garbage changed or offered more water, coffee etc.

Luxurious Stay

Great room and the staff were generally friendly. The breakfast box sent to my room (because i was within 21 days of arriving to Taiwan) was very tasty.

There was one staff member at the concierge who had a bit of a sour attitude. The restaurants used to be really good; i was a bit disappointed that the Japanese one was only serving a banquet now.
