景观非常棒，去古城特别方便，整体风格设计特别让人放松和舒适。员工特别有爱。

spa价格略高，晚上无自助餐有点遗憾，健身房如果有家长陪同希望可以让12岁以上孩子进入。

Best hotel/resort in Lijiang! With the nicest and hardest working staff

Amazing view, the staff are brilliant, very kind and generous. Even if you checked out or come back for missing items they will treat you really well

Only complaint is the cleaners didn’t clean our room and when called the receptionist to get cleaners to clean our room, they still didn’t clean the room properly and didn’t empty any rubbish

both hot tubs and the steam room was not working. service was very slow, we sat in the lobby and ordered drinks and waited over an hour. when we reminded them, they acted like we had not ordered anything

Incredible room, gorgeous architecture and interior design

This hotel compound is AMAZING! Definitely one of the best in Lijiang, massive value for money. Our room was huge, like a small apartment - with beautiful ancient Chinese interior design. It feels like a true Lijiang experience, with gorgeous architecture and the design of the villa compound. Conveniently located right next to Old Town (take the side door). The side door takes you to a quieter area of Old Town (still has all the same stuff, but with fewer crowds). Having the hotel close to the road makes it possible to travel out of Lijiang for day trips easily. Has a gym, pool, good restaurants, a cafe with mountain views....you really couldn't ask for any more. Also this is the first hotel I've seen in China give your multiple free soft drinks with your room, it's a nice touch. They also give you authentic Yunnan tea and a tea set in your room to really round out the experience.

Maybe that that location is on the quiet side of old town instead of the nightlife district (nothing a 15 minute walk won't solve) - but the nightlife district isn't really why people go to Lijiang, so it wouldn't be an issue for most people.

Beautiful and fancy hotel in Lijiang

It was covid period and I could not checkin in the hotel when I arrived. The staff immediately took me to a sister hotel, which was a walking distance. The hotel was also high quality facilities. Both hotels have prime location by the old town

I could not stay at Intercontinental and they relocated me to another hotel. They should have kept the same day rates as Intercontinental. The alternative hotel was more expensive

Superb

The hotel is at a great location just near the ancient city. The lounge bar has the most amazing view of the Jade Dragon Mountain, and it is a great place to have a coffee or a drink both during the day or in the evening. The room is very comfortable, the bathtub is amazing, the whole room feels like a home and cozy. The hotel was great to organize a car to take me to the mountain, with a driver very trustful all day. I would definitely come back to the hotel.

The only issues I had were that my room was much closer to the north gate to the ancient city, but it was closed due to covid. The other issue was the menu for Basil restaurant is very restricted, one of the shortest menus I have seen in a long time.

Very good

Our stay was great overall. We arrived a little before our planned arrival and our room was ready. The room was great. We had a junior executive room with a shared patio seating area. Everything in the room was top level. The bed was amazing, it was large and very comfortable. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet areas along with a bathtub on the other side of the bedroom area. All of these things were very clean and worked as you expect them to do. The sitting/TV area had a very comfortable sofa, coffee table and two additional chairs. It wasn't overcrowded with furniture and had just enough space to easily walk past. The windows had blackout curtains which was very nice. The coffee maker and water were well stocked. And there was a useful desk area with a wired internet connection. The patio area was nice and quiet as well. The breakfast buffet was decent. It was what you'd expect from a hotel in this price range. It wasn't amazing but it was fine. I also want to mention that the staff were very accommodating. Any issues we had were addressed quickly.

We enjoyed staying a different style of hotel but did not feel that the Club access was good value.

It is a beautiful property with a wonderful historical charm but still very comfortable. Being able to walk directly out of the hotel into the old town was very convenient. Other shops nearby such as a chemist, Starbucks etc.

We had Club access but were disappointed with the standard of service, food and beverage provided in the Club. Breakfast was supposed to be available in the Club from 7am. I arrived at 7 and it was still being set up. Set up was not completed until 7.30. The 'egg' station' was manned by the receptionist. The eggs were not well cooked. A proper chef should have been cooking the eggs for the guests in the Club. My son asked for mayonnaise and was told there was none in the hotel. Once food was finished it was not replaced so if you arrived in the Club later in the evening there was very little choice remaining.

Lovely hotel adjascent to the old town shops and restaurants.

This is a lovely hotel designed like an ancient village. Very attractive rooms -beautifully designed. My room had a lovely pond outside with some tables, chairs and umbrellas to lounge at. The garden had a security-guarded exit into the ancient town for easy access to shops and restaurants. Service was great. Breakfast was terrific. The main lobby has a great view where we enjoyed a late tea/lunch-all delicious. Live music was provided-a relaxing atmosphere.

Perfect Location, lovely spacious rooms

The location is perfect, the back gate of the property is already inside the old town. The rooms were perfectly Chinese style and nicely designed. Lovely garden setting, stunning view of the Jade Dragon snow mountain peak upon entering the hotel. A great terrace view for relaxing, and generous teepee set-up for the kids to play in the garden. Staff are very polite, nice, and very helpful. Breakfast has a good selection of Chinese & western food. Great value for money

The only thing missing in the breakfast is the pancake & fresh yak yogurt. Staff at the breakfast buffet weren’t so good in handling first come first serve guests. A guy overtook the queue upon entering the breakfast and the staff didn’t bother to let him queue but instead entertained him. That wasn’t nice gesture.

a worst experience

The hotel is close to Ancient Town, just this. It was my worst experience in an IHG hotel, our expectation of having chosen the Intercontinental Hotel for vacation was frustrated by the lack of attention and empathy with the guests. IHG should take a good look at it

A 5 star hotel without room service, restaurants that close at 2PM, nothing special was offered on New Year's Eve night (restaurants were closed). The reception bar closed at 11:30pm on New Year's Eve. What was supposed to be a special moment turned out to be a very frustrating and terrible experience. They are not prepared to host foreigners, unfortunately.

Nothing. It was the worst "Intercontinental" experience in my life. IHG should take a good look at it. Seriously. The only "good" thing is the hotel is close to Ancient Town.

Almost everything. The hotel, the staff, the restaurant, the room service, the hotel accessibility, the rooms. The "Intercontinental" Lijiang is not ready to host foreigners. Terrible experience. The worst experience ever.
