Right in the middle of the rainforest, simple and comfortable

There’s a pool and great swimming hole which made the heat bearable. A really comfortable place with staff that are friendly but not over the top.

Would be good to have kitchen facilities beyond a kettle and fridge, especially as the restaurant was beyond our travel budget.

We loved the atmosphere and location

Some of the staff were unfriendly, breakfast was quite poor in item variety and quality, more generally it did not meet the expectations for the category of the accommodation.

I will be back.

A good-size cabin in a complex that blends into the rainforest. Friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfasts and excellent dinners. Throw in a couple of real swimming holes in the local creek. How could one want more?

This is not a luxury resort that pretends to fit in with nature - it had everything that I need or desire from an ecological and personal perspective.

Exciting Stay in Daintree

I was thrilled to discover a resort in the heart of the Daintree Forest. The rooms were tidy and spacious, offering a comfortable stay. On The Turps restaurant had a charming décor that matched the surroundings, and the food and service were excellent. The staff was helpful and attentive throughout my stay. Heritage Lodge is a must-visit for nature lovers seeking a tranquil getaway.

spotlessly clean, beautifully surrounded by rainforest and the most amazing array of flowers.

if you need good aircon, this isn’t for you. we stayed in April and it was very warm at nights even with the small aircon unit on constantly.

great restaurant and friendly staff, no mobile reception but a selection of DVDS to watch in rooms.

old style air conditioner is very noisy- difficult to hear dvd while air con on.

Restful peaceful stay

the location right by the rainforest and the swimming holes were the highlight - beautiful special spot. the restaurant had a nice view overlooking the creek. quiet and peaceful. service was friendly.

the rooms - furnishings and fittings are a bit dated and tired. could do with a refresh.

service was great, rooms very eco friendly and an amazing swimming hole right on site that you look over at breakfast. included breakfast is simple but does the job. Dinner, all dishes were amazing in flavour and good serving sizes.

A hidden gem with lovely staff and beautiful surroundings.

Excellent location right in the middle of the rainforest. Staff friendly and really helpful, went out of their way to help me food wise with my dietary requirements. Great with kids. Really beautiful place which had everything we needed. Very relaxing and welcoming. We'll definitely come back.
