A lovely stay in a great location with a warm and friendly staff.

We loved our stay at this beautiful hotel! The rooms were so clean and well designed, and the bed was very comfy. We had everything we needed! We also cannot say enough about the warm and helpful staff, and Theresa in particular. Breakfast was wonderful and included with our room! The location of the hotel was perfect and close to the river. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Gorgeous hotel without AC

Super modern, stylishly appointed and well positioned in the Riberia area, within easy reach of all Porto attractions. Spotless spacious room with very comfy bed and storage area. Walk in shower is fabulous with both overhead and hand head shower heads. Fluffy towels, gowns and complimentary slippers were great. Good to see bathroom supplies (shampoo, conditioner, soap) provided in refillable dispensers rather than single use plastic. Breakfast is a feast of local products with the choice of additional freshly cooked items. Staff are welcoming and friendly and luggage can be stored both before checking in if arriving early and after checkout if you leave a little later. Taxi rank right outside is really handy (€26 approx one way from/to the airport). Great choice of recommended restaurants within a short walk and the river area is less than 50 meters away.

In room tea and coffee facilities turned out to be a small kettle with 3 tea bags and 2 instant coffee sachets. It was disappointing after housekeeping had been that the used items weren't replaced and we had to ask for more. The (empty) minibar fridge could be skipped and a decent coffee maker included instead with stocks replenished by housekeeping. The most disappointing aspect of the stay was however the AC. We reported the lack of cooling in the room to three different staff - the first two were indignant (1 argumentative and rude) that there was nothing wrong with it (despite the room remaining at 21 degrees) but suggested we opened the window. For two of the nights our room filled with mosquitoes who enjoyed our company more than us theirs! The third member of staff informed us that the AC was only for heating the room and didn't cool! This is a severe oversight on the part of the hotel. We paid €919 for three nights at Exmo - sadly our experience allows us only to give a 3. We expected more.

Agradable y bien ubicada!

Las atenciones! El personal era my amable.

Pasamos mucho calor, no funcionaban los aires acondicionados y la temperatura en Oporto no estaba tan fría. Teníamos que dormir con las ventanas abiertas para poder tener ventilación y al estar en una calle muy concurrida, no pudimos descansar lo suficiente y los niños se asustaban con las pitas de los coches.

Great little hotel in the very best location

Perfect location, about two minutes’ walk from the Ribeira. Lovely pared back style. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Great shower. Delicious breakfast. Helpful, friendly staff.

Excellent breakfast. The lovely young women who worked there made fresh cakes and there was so much more to choose from. Service on every level was top notch.

Nice & cozy hotel with wonderful staff that needs more attention .

Cozy boutique hotel with personal service and wonderful staff.

Bed was uncomfortable & sagged in the center. Shower door didn’t close properly and water seeped out in great quantity. Had to use extra towels to dry up floor to avoid slippery condition’s. Soap and shampoo holder was badly fixed and fell while in use . Had to use the floor since no other space is provided. Water damage on shower wall was observed. Maintenance and upkeep in this particular room is not very good.

Nice hotel at great location

The location, the design, the staff, the breakfast were great

Only the room to river side are bigger and quiet, the city view rooms are near the street. It takes time for hot water to flow, especially at not standart hours.

We really enjoyed our stay! The location is great and the room was very comfortable.

Breakfast was a continental spread and they made coffee/espresso to order as well as offering eggs and bacon to order. We enjoyed every morning!

Loved the hotel and will recommend to others but defi

The decor was modern and beautiful. The location was excellent, close to everything. The morning buffet was exceptional. The staff was friendly, accommodating and helpful. The room was cleaned to perfection every day.

My husband and I were in Room 3. We arrived on Friday and stayed for 3 nights. The street noise was very loud on Friday and Saturday , so much so that I was unable to sleep. I was told we would have a city view but did not expect the level of noise in the room.

We loved everything about Hotel Exmo!

Staff make us feel at home. The included breakfast was wonderful. Eggs and bacon and a buffet of wonderful items. It was a real treat! The room was extremely clean and well attended to.The beds were extremely comfortable. There were nice perks like a welcome drink, sand cookies and a handwritten note in our room when we arrived. The location was perfect. We couldn't have been happier with our choice to stay at Exmo Hotel. Each time we came back to the hotel it felt like we returned to an oasis!

Would highly recommend, really lovely stay!

Lovely modern hotel in a super location with really nice staff! Would recommend for sure! Room was a really good size with plenty of space, beautiful views out the window, and a big comfy bed! Will be my first choice for hotel when returning to Porto!

Wonderful hotel in the center of Porto with amazing staff

During our stay at Exmo Hotel in Porto, Portugal, the staff's dedication to ensuring our comfort and enjoyment truly exceeded all expectations. Teresa and her colleagues not only provided excellent service at the hotel but also went the extra mile by offering fantastic dinner recommendations in the city. They even offered to make reservations for us at some of the most popular and charming local restaurants, port wineries and local museums making our experiences truly unforgettable. One delightful aspect of our stay was our daily greeting with fresh espresso drinks and delicious cakes. It was such a thoughtful gesture that added a touch of warmth and indulgence to our mornings and afternoons. We felt pampered and cared for throughout our entire visit. The combination of the staff's personalized attention, their helpful dinner suggestions, and the delightful treats they offered us each day made our stay at Exmo Hotel a truly remarkable and pleasurable experience. It's clear that the hotel takes pride in creating a welcoming and homely atmosphere, making it the perfect choice for anyone visiting Porto. We traveled with our infant child and were treated very well, welcomed each time we entered and left the hotel and even had a table with a high chair waiting for us at breakfast. We can't thank the team ant Exmo enough for making our vacation so special and memorable. We'll definitely be returning in the future!

Brilliant stay in Porto

I loved everything about the hotel - the staff were so friendly and helpful (special mention to Teresa, Emily and also Bruna). They couldn't do enough for us. The location was great and also the bed was really comfortable. The rooms were slightly small, but we didn't spend much time in the room so it was perfectly adequate. I would stay here again if we ever returned to Porto. Breakfast was really good too with a nice choice of pastries, bread and cereals. Coffee was perfect too.

There was nothing that could be improved on.
