Welcome to DiClementi's Surfside Escape! This family retreat at Grand Palms of Surfside is in the heart of Surfside Beach, just 1.5 miles from the 16th Ave N beach access. With plenty of free parking and the convenience of Hwy 17 access, you will be able to enjoy a night on the town, soaking up all Surfside Beach has to offer. Broadway at the Beach and the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk are only 15 minutes North and the "Seafood Capital of SC", Murrells Inlet is 15 minutes south.
The Space:
***Please note that because this is a privately owned residence, the Grand Palms Resort amenities (like the pools and activity center) are not available to guests***
This spacious and comfortable condo is located in Surfside Beach just 1.5 miles to the closest beach access. Included is a full eat in kitchen with dining for 7 and comfortable living room to relax and enjoy family time. Downstairs primary suite has an en suite bathroom and walk in closet. There is also a 2nd hall bedroom with 2 queen beds downstairs with a bath across the hall from it. The 2nd floor loft suite has two double beds, a private bath and spacious walk in closet. Located inside Deerfield Plantation, this spacious villa is quietly tucked away but right in the middle of Surfside Beach, "The Family Beach" and close to excellent restaurants and fun beach activities. You will love the space that this property has and how spotlessly clean it is!

There are 3 grocery stores, Target and Walmart within 3 miles or 10 minutes drive. Some of our favorite restaurants like the Wooden Spoon (brunch spot), Surfside Pizza (downtown Surfside), The Bar-B-Q House and Johnny D's Waffles (breakfast and brunch) are right around the corner. There are additional restaurants and great shopping destinations in the Market Common where you can stroll the night away with the whole family. Don't forget to check out our Guidebook on Airbnb!!

I was so happy with our stay at this condo. It had all the comforts of home and the set up of the condo we all still had our privacy. The beach is not far away. I had family at ocean lakes and our place was soo much better than one of the houses that rented for 5k a week. The only con is that the community is half owned and half rented rooms like a hotel. So you dont have access to the pool area. If you have small kids and it is important you may find a place with a community pool. It was not important to my group as a whole this trip. However, I would stay at this condo again in a heartbeat.

From start to finish the property manager was personal. We had an issue and he jumped right on it. The washer and dryer needs be replaced or fixed but everything else was great.

My family had a very enjoyable stay. Enough space for all to gather and bedrooms were nice. One concern was that the shower curtains seemed to be either dirty or badly stained. Other than that, no complaints. Unfortunately, the last morning, trying to wrangle everyone in was quite a chore, so we ended up checking out late, but the property manager was very nice about it. Very nice accommodations, easy to find our way around the area, close to everything we needed, & overall a great stay. Will reccommend. Thank you!

If you are looking for gold faucets, vintage figurines or Spode Bone China, don't come here. BUT, if you are looking for a clean, up to date home with all the "down home" fixins, this is the place. Bring a few books to sit on the deck and read. It's very tranquil. Just a 1/2 mile away or so is all the activity. Restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, gas stations AND the ocean. I hope you get the idea we love this place and I don't like to broadcast this because I'm afraid I will not get a spot when I want return. OH BY THE WAY, did I mention this was our 3rd time staying here!!!

The 3Bed/3Bath was everything my family of 8 needed. It was perfect, everyone seem to have there own privacy. Clean, plenty of space and so close to all attractions . Could not have been better. Exceptional vacation at this resort, however I have two areas that could have used improvement. First, I did not feel like the bedspreads had been cleaned in awhile. Second, was only able to get on one shuttle, due to the tiny nature of shuttle bus. Each bus only held 14 people, which was inexcusable during summer peak season. Any other time we went to the beach we had to drive. Other than that it was a great experience. And, on those days we could not get to the beach due to weather, the resort has three pools, which were great.

So, my one entire crew went 5 Days of no WIFI..!!! The several passwords provided did not work.... So, pros. The entire place was very clean, lots of space, the kitchen contained everything we possibly could have needed, all we had to do was pick up food.. loved the balcony and it's calming view, I enjoyed morning coffee there daily.. My crew took part in the early morning Zumba classes, and aqua aerobics.. just a short walk from the place.. My crew really enjoyed 24 hours of pool access..again just steps away from the place... My crew spread about the place adults, teens, little ones and never once tripped over each other...The decorations and comfy furniture made it all seem like a "Home Away From Home" :-)

The rental was very nice, rather resort had many nice amenities, however, the floors were very dirty. I don't believe that had been cleaned or if they had been, there were cleaned with very dirty water. Our feet were black from walking on the floors. We had small children and this was very alarming. The cleaning service really needs to be re-assessed. I sent pictures to the manager so that he could address this. I would stay again if the cleaning issue were addressed.

Overall the condo was clean, however there was a STRONG smoke smell when we walked in. The unit was labeled as non-smoking, however it was clear that someone had smoked multiple times in the condo. It smelled in the closets, bathrooms, EVERYWHERE. It got better as we aired it out but continued to smell through out the whole weekend. The owner was accommodating and offered to give us $100 off the rental, which I appreciate. Other than the smoke smell it was a nice place, the pool was nice and the grounds seemed are

My family and I rented 3 condos and it was great the condos were very clean and comfortable. We had all the supplies we needed for cooking and cleaning. The pools were amazing especially the kiddie pool we had a lot of kids with us and they enjoyed every bit of it. We were also able to barbecue as the grills are provided for us as well overall we all had a blast at the resort would definitely recommend it to my friends and family.

I've always enjoyed working with the front desk at Beach Star and this time is no different. They were both very pleasant and satisfied any issues that I had. The staff at Plantation Resort resolve any issues and the shuttle driver, I'm sorry I can't remember his name but he was the more mature driver of the two drivers, he was awesome and very engaging.

We had an amazing time staying in Plantation Resort! We were originally supposed to stay in older condos but there was a problem with the power in the original condo. The management was so helpful and went out of their way to move and upgrade us because of the problem. I would recommend this place to anyone who said they were coming to the Surfside Beach area!!
