Secluded and serene hotel with scenic sea view with great taverna!

The room and the overall hotel featured a rustic but elegant feel. Our room was very clean, pleasantly spacious, and featured a lovely view to the sea from our private patio, which included a two-person table and a small clothes line to dry your swimwear (or whatever you may have hand-washed in the sink). They also offered very reasonably-priced laundry services (5 euro / load!), and the onsite taverna of the same name served very tasty Greek fare.

Ok, so full disclosure: my girlfriend and I actually loved everything. One matter worth mentioning for others, however, is that the hotel itself is somewhat remote from "other things", and at the end of a small dirt road off island's northern-most main road. This also means that you're not going to be able to simply walk out to any shops. So, although there is a bus stop quite nearby, you'll definitely want to be sure to rent a car (or scooter, etc) if you're staying here. For our experience, this felt more a "feature" than a "problem", as it comes with a lovely dose of tranquility that made my girlfriend and I quite happy.

if the restaurant had been satisfactory we’d come again.

it is remote as we wished. near a lonely beach.

the restaurant’s food could be better. somehow it wasn’t traditional Greek food as we had hoped.

the view the room was mediam size but they have upper rooms with is better but it wasn't mentioned in the

but they are more like a chalet with ground and 1st floor and that wasn't mentioned when I booked and when I arrived they gave me ground floor room and I asked if I can change it to 1st floor to have more privacy and better view, they told tomorrow and the day after they asked me for more money to change the room, I felt like taking advantage of me when they saw me asking again

Superb

The best beach in Milos is 200mts away. Is a cozy enviroment and the balcony is really nice.

The restaurant wasn't open. Nevertheless the hotel is centrally localted within the island so its easy to go any place with a restaurant in less than 10 minutes.

The wifi didn’t work in the rooms. It did work fine on the dining terrace

The property has an ideal location. It is 8 minutes away by ATV to the 2 main towns, to the caves, and wonderful beaches. The room was exceptionally clean and modern looking. The hotel has a delicious restaurant with a perfect view of the sunset. Ms. Anna is well known around town for her good kitchen and hospitality. Stay at Galini and enjoy Milos! (Tip: Make sure to have an international driver license to be able to rent a scooter, ATV, or car, which is extremely important to move around the island)

The location is excellent, a 10min ride anywhere to have lunch or dinner, and so quiet. All you can hear at night are the waves.

Very good

A small private beach a short walk away from the accommodation and fantastic walks. Very basic, good clean place that is serviced daily by friendly staff. Lovely views from the patio of the sea and passing ferries. I would visit again if I want a very quiet break from the hustle of the village.

A little far out and remote from the village so you'll need to catch a cab after dinner and a few glasses of wine. Expect to pay around 15 to 20 euros for a 10 to 15 min trip. It was persistently windy when I stayed there and by the way the trees grow, it seems like it's often windy there. I wish they could supply a beach towel and a kettle for coffee or tea first thing in the morning. I don't always feel like getting dressed just to have a cuppa in the morning and I do tend to get up earlier than everyone else.

Wonderful sea view near beautiful beach

The view from the balcony. I and my son enjoyed the sea view and the beautiful sunset. A short walk to a nice beach. The family ran restaurant was nice.

We requested twin beds but only got the double bed. But the room was big enough to put an additional mattress.

Superb

The views were incredible. The two-bedroom apartment was charming with its French doors, shutter windows and not one, but two, decks overlooking the sea. We liked its remote location which was not too remote being just a short drive off the main road and located close to both Pollonia, Adamas and not too far from Plaka. Very peaceful and quiet. The staff was very nice and accommodating. It was a good value for the money--very happy we stayed here.

The only downside were the beds were very hard. They felt more like a boxspring than a mattress. It was manageable but a more comfortable bed would give this place a ten for comfort. Also, while it is, unfortunately, a norm in Greece for people to smoke in restaurants, something not allowed in the USA for many years now, it would be nice if staff might try to not smoke in the lobby so much and particularly right next to the breakfast buffet during breakfast. It is rather unpleasant and gives me an immediate headache. But, this place was still a super place that I highly recommend!
