Irish hospitality at its best!
Clean, comfortable, well-appointed B&B on a quiet, residential street. Breakfast was piping hot and delicious. Mary made sure to check in with us daily about our stay and how we were enjoying Ireland. On our last night, we had pre-booked a taxi for the morning, but in the morning, it said none were available. Mary got us straight with a local taxi right away.
N/A I would definitely stay at Rye Brook again.

A good base to start my stay in the west of Ireland
It suited my requirements. A little on the edge of town, therefore quiet. Breakfast good, suited my particular diet (diabetes and hiatus hernia . The dining room had a small fridge which was useful for storing my diabetic stuff.
Nothing to say on this.

Traditional guest house
Very clean, well organised and well maintained. Good value for money in Killarney. Really close to National Park. The fruit and pancakes option for breakfast.
Tiny room with nowhere to sit except the beds. Towels were small and thin, and no hand towels for face or hair. Overhead shower hard to operate. Felt like an old-fashioned guest house where there were lots of rules, including choosing breakfast the morning before. No offer of alternatives for dietary needs. ( Lactose intolerant). Too far to walk into town and town was too busy to park even in the evening. There was only one place nearby to eat, which was pretty good. Only space for two cars to park. Street parking is not easy as other residents are also street parking.

Almost Perfect.
Mary obviously is proud of her B&B, and is the second best so far in 7 stays. She had thought of almost everything. Nice modern and spotless, good breakfast. Rooms have almost everything you need, nice shower with simple wall mixer instead of a tonne of scrap metal hanging off the wall taking up valuable space. Glass screen. Even had a real cake of soap and a face washer for those who like a good scrub up, did not have to use my own this time. But where was the shampoo ;-). Ample table and luggage storage space. And the TV was actually facing the bed from a wall mount. Plus I got my room serviced which I was not expecting on a 2 night stay.
Minor. A delay in confirming my check-in time as Mary had requested I arrive earlier than possible as she had a family gathering to go to. Although the bed seemed to have a good mattress, it was a little firmly sprung with not much give or with a pillow top to sink into.
