Great location

It was really central! The PeruBus and PeruHop stops were basically a 1min walk away. It’s also really close to the beach and so many restaurants. Has a nice courtyard area with hammocks to relax in.

The kitchen was a bit dirty and the room we were in was quite stuffy (only had a window out into the corridor which meant if we wanted air, we also had to put up with noise.

Helpful staff. Comfortable bed. Good location 5 minutes walk to beach. Nice common areas. Clean.

Unfortunately there was a light directly outside the door for the bathroom. When people used the bathroom they often left it on. It shines bright and directly into the dorm and constantly woke me up multiple times during the night. Putting the light on an automatic timer would solve this.

Seems to be the place to be for partying Peruvians

The pool is a lovely bonus even though its right on the beach. Good breakfast. And seems to be the place to be for partying Peruvians on the weekends. Full musica & dancing

Good luck sleeping without earplugs or headphones on the weekend

Good location, but dirty hostel..

Very good location! Beds are comfortable and rooms quite big. There are lockers for everybody that works. Lidia in reception is super nice and helpful with everything! And Jorge, the nightshift, is keeping security tight making sure people doesn't come in from the street - Very nice people working here! The offer a tour to Isla Ballesta which I would definitely recommend! The tour to the national park is more a car ride with photo stops and a very expensive lunch place - Would recommend to skip that and rent bikes by yourself or look into another tour.

It is not soundproof what so ever. I had a 6 bed dorm, first floor and got waken up every night/morning of drunk people entering the hostel. There are only two bathrooms for the people staying on the first floor + people hanging out in the reception area, kitchen and lower terrace. Never experienced bathrooms so dirty and smelly! Always had to ask for paper and soap. I ended up walking to the 4th floor every time, which was a bit better. Showers doesn't have hangers or shelves, so no rooms for your clothes or towel. Nothing to dry with afterwards so it quickly gets dirty. Kitchen is small, and there is no storage space whatsoever.. The space that there is, is 'private' and used by the staff. There is a ground terrace with hammocks and upper terrace, but places both chairs and hammocks are dirty and haven't been cleaned for a while. All in all there's a lot of cleaning staff, who you'll often see sitting togheter for breakfast and lunch-break, but I'm not sure what they're doing really besides that, cause the entire hostel needs a good scrub!

Value for money

Alberto was so friendly. They had hammocks and a really nice rooftop relaxation area. The accommodation was a 2-minute walk to the sea.

Ok for a night

The location was good, close to the main area but not too noisy at night time.

The bedsheets felt a little damp and it's a bit old fashioned.

Very nice hostel !

very beautiful place ! Outside common places, nice rooftop, very shiny (all white), great location, comfortable room for a couple (not too small)

1 shower out of two didn’t have hot water, one toilet out of 2 was out of order, and the bathroom is a bit dark at night

In general it was very nice, comfortable bed, big enough for the two of us, would stay again ;)

we enjoyed our stay in Backpackers house, it was clean and also cleaned every day with fresh towels and sheets.

Next to towels everyday we got new soap each time. We could really use the same soap all 3 days, let’s think about the environment! Also the curtain in the shower was too short, so the floor was getting wet after each shower. Also they say they have laundry service, but we could not use it.

Great location and nice open hostel. Lovely terrace to watch the sunset! The showers were hot and powerful.

There wasn't any drinking water and our room was a bit sparse. This could easily be fixed with a lamp shade and some TLC.

Great location and value.

Great location. fair price for the area. the staff were very kind and accommodating. I was always greeted by name and with a smile. Cool vibe like a hostel with good private rooms. I made some friends in the common areas.

well worth the money. I would def recommend!

The rooftop was amazing, everything was really fresh and clean. felt very airy and nice in general. hot showers worked perfect. quiet at night.

I really wish the room could have had some more shelves/hooks (I stayed in a double room). all my stuff ended up in a mess on the floor because I had nowhere to store them.

Nice place to explore Paracas and meet people from all over the world

The place had a really nice atmosphere and lots of places where people could meet up. In the kitchen, the patio or the roof top terrace we got to know people from all over the world. Nevertheless, they try to keep the place quiet at night - from 22:00 o'clock onwards loud chatting and partying is forbidden. It is located in the heart of Paracas and in only a few minutes you reach restaurants, the esplanade, minimarkets or the Cruz del Sur busstation. We took the tours they offered to the Islas Ballestas and the national reserve - definitively recommendable. Last but not least they have three very cute cats in the house.

They used a super loud water pump to get water into the building. Especially in the morning and evening when more people shower it was almost constantly running and the rooms around the patio were filled with a clattering noise. I really don't know why they don't establish a better construction for this - never had that in any other hotel/hostel. Moreover a few times we had no hot water in the shower.

Could be loud in the rooms at time from traffic and other rooms as not a lot of sound proofing. Kitchen equipment could do with some updating.
