Very good

This lodge is really nice. Perfectly located, near to the jungle and near to the city center. Staff was friendly and helpfull. Our room was clean and comfy with gorgeous view. to the river. If you are lucky, you can see the sloths from your balcony :).

The electrical plugs in the room were in very bad condition and it was literally not possible to plug - in.

The location was good.

The bathroom was mouldy, food at the restaurant was poor, hot water was very hot and miss so had more cold showers than warm.

I continue to stay here when I go in and out of the jungle

the jungle is woven into the layout of the property and gives it a peaceful nature vibe for being in the busy town of puerto

sometimes the city is loud as it has a lot of clubs, and the sound travels to the hotel. it isn’t their fault of course, the clubs are hard to escape

Shower door not closing properly, mold in the shower door, old furniture, rooms not ready at promised check-in, no breakfast, no elevator (but bellboys help us with our bags)

Major disappointment! Avoid room 1004 if you do stay, as this room has more bugs than the jungle!

The location was great, looking out across the river and there was a sloth by my room. Bar and restaurant next door which was handy.

The hotel is incredibly run down and nothing as shown in the pictures. Not only was the hotel and my room run down and much in need of tlc, my room in the evening became full of insects. Avoid room 1004!! After falling asleep, I woke shortly at 1am with insets all over the walls and floor despite the windows being shut and curtains closed - bugs were landing on me and it was unsleepable. I went down at 1am and spoke to the security guard, but all he could do was come to my room and sweep up the dead insects- there was no alternative room or mosquito net available. I wanted to complain about it the next morning when I checked out, but the receptionist at the time unfortunately didn’t speak English. No breakfast was included in rate and checkin was half 10.

Bud bugged room with lots of outside noise. Do not recommend it.

My bed had bed bugs. windows do not close properly and bugs and insects are coming inside the room. My room was full of bugs and insects when I walked in. it was hard to sleep especially because of noise from the outside restaurant and lounge.

best thing is the pool and the bar next to it views from room 1003 are nice

the breakfast menu sounded really bad (lomo saltado is not really what I expect to eat at 8 AM) and we did not take anything apart from two juices which were ok we ordered a taxi and they confirmed the order but when we waited and asked after ten minutes they told us they did not order one… the interior is old and worn out

GREAT PLACE TO STAY

The facilities are as clean as they can be, considering Puerto Maldonado is a very dusty town. Still, rooms were cleaned and sanitized on a daily basis by very kind staff. The pool area is delightful, with an exceptional view of the bridge and, if you get lucky, the sloth that lives in ghe premises will be visible!. The reception staff are polite and helpful. The tours are well-organized and punctual. All in all, a good accommodation choice and definitely a place we'd like to go back to.

There was one thing regarding one of our tours: we had to cancel that same day due to a heavy downpour. We still got charged 50% off the total cost. We understand there are overheads that are taken care of in advance, but manangement should make the terms crystal clear.

This hotel is located between the main square of Puerto Maldonado and the river. The hotel has a pool and a restaurant. Puerto Maldonado is quite vibrant city, different from what we’ve seen in Peru. It’s a mixture of Latin America with Thailand or Laos.

The room was quite shabby, in need of renovation. The toilet didn’t flush, but was repaired within 20 minutes after we called the reception. The price - quality ratio was not very good: we stayed in fabulous hotels in Peru for the same or lower price.

Exceptional

The two guys behind the front desk were exceptional. They were super friendly and organized two tours for us. One tour was a piranha fishing and bird watching on a gorgeous lake at sunset and the other was a parrot lick early in the morning. Our guides were Boris and Aari and they were exceptional! They have a SLOTH and a baby roaming around the property. It was soooo cool! The lodge was at a great location and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

The lodge has a friendly staff that will help solve any problem for you.

The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was really friendly and helpful. When we had a problem they were happy to help. The lodge also has a beautiful garden and pool area.

The wifi had a poor connection and the breakfast was basically a bun with scrambled egg on it, so it was a bit basic.
