Een leuk en fijn verblijf op een super mooie locatie!

De locatie is perfect. Je kan zo naar de kastelen en meren lopen en andere mooie wandeling maken. Het verblijf is schoon en alle benodigde faciliteiten zijn aanwezig. Vriendelijke verhuurder en parkeren op eigen terrein. Rustig en mooi uitzicht!

Wij konden onze buren wel af en toe horen. Er is geen airconditioning of ventilator aanwezig en de gordijnen waren erg dun waardoor de kamer nog best licht was.

An Alpen Lodge near Neuschwanstein Castle

This is not a hotel, but rather a house consisting of several apartments and a studio. The apartments have a small kitchen and a private bath with a shower. The bigger room is very spacial and has two entrances to a balcony. The balcony wrapping the house is divided between apartments and offers nice views of the mountains. A well kept garden surrounds the house on three sides. The interior yard is a free parking. The kitchen is perfect for a longer stay. Separate rooms are very convenient for a family with children, a pack of 4 companions or just for two people who want to sleep in separate rooms. The location is excellent - halfway between Fussen and Neuschwanstein Castle.

Neuschwanstein view from your bed

Well situated between the Forggensee and the castles, the apartment even comes with its own view on the latter. You'll find everything you need, the place is clean and the host friendly. Be aware: the "Schlossblick" attic apartment has really low beams, everybody beyond a height of 160m will knock their head at least once. To be fair, it was clearly addressed by the owners before confirming the booking.

For some reasons you'll find a sign in the kitchen threatening one to be charged with 20 Euro extra should one leave any non cleaned dishes... not exactly holiday vibes

it was so close to both castles, walking distance. the apartment was lovely too.

The pillows. I found them lumpy but other than that all was good.

clean and cosy room. good hot shower nice location if you enjoy hiking , and easy to get a round if you have a car , not very easy if walking or using public transport. would stay again

lack of staff contact making checking in a little harder , rules around opening windows after showers etc despite -1 weather.

the best stay we’ve had! highly recommend! especially for families!

description very accurate! you can see the castle right outside the building. and it’s super close! was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay! perfect for a family who are traveling here . the extra bedroom for our daughter was nice everyone was able to sleep so good after long day of adventures. checking in and checkout was super easy and parking is available.

there’s nothing we didn’t like about the facility! simply perfect !! and for the price 🤯 you can’t beat this deal!

Dont expect too much, its ok for one night stay

It was possible to park car in the same property. Bed was good. It was ok for one night stay.

Its very remote location, no restaurants near by. Kitchen was provided but there was not exhaust or ventilation. There was a small card placed on the kitchen that cleaning price of kitchen is not included in rent, which was confusing. Although i was not charged anything extra. There are only curtains available and no blinds, so it may be hard to sleep in summer. Also curtains dont cover the complete window, so there is privacy issue.

Good basic room for travel. Location is great.

The location is great. A short walk of 15/20 minutes you are at the Castles or in Schwangau. Short car ride to Fussen.

1. Weak Wifi. 2. There is no option for meals and cleaning of an used kitchen is additional 20 euros.

The location of the house was excellent

We lost the internet connection for two hours. Hot water in kitchen was terrible. It didn't worth for 160 €. They did not mention for +7€ for hotel price. They also did bot mention for extra cleaning price in kitchen

We enjoyed a lot our stay at Haus Alpenrose. The hostess was very nice, friendly and helpful. The location is absolutely fantastic. Very close to the main local attractions. I totally recommend this wonderful place.
