About this house rental
This bright and cheerfully decorated two-story home features everything to make your vacation enjoyable. It has a fully equipped kitchen and four flat screen TVs. It also features an enclosed outside shower with hot/cold water, two large decks, tile and vinyl plank flooring, high ceilings with crown molding, professionally decorated, and four to five car parking. Each of the five bedrooms is tastefully decorated to make your stay more enjoyable.
The bedrooms are as follows:
Bedroom one. King Bed. This bedroom is downstairs.
Bedroom two. Queen bed with private access to upstairs deck.
Bedroom three. Queen Bed with private access to deck.
Bedroom four. Two twin beds
Bedroom five. Two full Beds
We have two twin rollaway beds available upon request prior to arrival.
We also have another 5 bedroom, 3 bath house across from this one so if you have a large crowd and need two houses these are a stones throw apart
Located in a privately owned community, the house is only a one to two minute walk to the beach where lifeguards are available for safety and to rent chairs, sailboats, etc. There is also an indoor/outdoor pool and two oceanfront playgrounds on site.The house is located just 10 minutes from the heart of Myrtle Beach and 15 minutes from Broadway at the Beach.
With the community's 24-hour security, you can feel comfortable letting the children go. There is miniature golf, indoor/outdoor pools, volleyball, basketball courts, horseshoe pits, shuffleboard, biking, golf cart rental, bingo, church services, fishing, recreation center with ping pong tables, snack bar, playgrounds, organized activities for all ages, plus much more!
Located close to all Myrtle Beach attractions such as golfing (over 100 courses!), amusement parks, shows, outlet malls, museums, etc.
Baby items such as porta-crib and high chair available upon request. Golf cart rental available upon request. Prices vary depending on the season. Our community charges $12-15 per car per night for car passes. You can purchase these on arrival for $15 per car per night or you can order them at least two weeks prior to arrival for $12 per car per night. Cancellation policy: No refunds for cancellations made less than 6 months prior to arrival.

Pam was truly the best host and made every part of planning our annual family vacation seamless. She had wonderful communication and answered all of my questions from the time we booked our trip to the time we left. The house was beautiful and had so many amenities included with it. Everything we needed was at the house. My fur baby even got to enjoy vacation this year as well! We will definitely be staying here in the future! Pam, thank you for everything. It was truly a trip to remember!

Forever grateful for rentals who don’t discriminate against big dogs!! Ty ty ty!! Everything was wonderful, especially the water park for the little and big kids alike! ☺️ Had everything we needed in the kitchen. The 13 of us didn’t feel cramped, at all. Oh and being easy walking distance from the beach was a huge plus. Thank you and have a wonderful Summer!!

We had the best time at this house! The house was very clean, spacious, and suited our needs perfectly. Pam was an excellent host and was quick to answer any questions we had. You won't find a nicer place or better host in Ocean Lakes!

House was very nice. Walking distance to beach. Rode our bikes to water park. Wasn't bad at all. The only thing that caught me off guard was the 88.00 dollars for each car to park under the house we rented.and a friend of ours just came to eat dinner with us and had to pay 15 dollars,just to park for 3 hours.

Family vacay
Welllll. The owner was very punctual as to thing that might have been mentioned to her about fixing. Example they just showed up unannounced the 2 day there to change out the patio table. I appreciated the fixer upper but been nice to have had a heads up being I had dogs and a 1 yr old at the house that might have been sleeping. They need to fire their cleaning person we all walked on the floor and our feet turned black from dirt. Literally went to the store and bought stuff to clean it ourselves. No way they ever mop the damn floor. Then second to last day we found roaches. Nice huh? Well only one that we know of made it inside. Lol I contacted the owner and she called the exterminator. But once again failed to notify us about her doing so, he showed up and left because why spray when we are all there and my dogs. Plus we were leaving in 12 hrs understand the timing but u can’t spray for bugs when everything and everyone is around. Ok I know we still enjoyed ourselves and the amenities that ocean lakes offered definitely need a golf cart which the owner expressed to us upon arrival. Which we learned almost immediately once we drove in.

Family Vacation
Pam was wonderfully attentive to all our needs during the stay and prior to our arrival as well. The location of the house was ideal for young children as the campground includes so many great amenities. The house had everything we needed for a wonderful beach vacation!

I was disappointed with several things
I didn’t like paying for the sheet after renting the property I also didn’t like the location of the house and parking was expensive due to the fact that I rented the property.

Sadly Dissapointed.
The pictures and discription on Vrbo do not accurately discribe this property. The property is discribed on Vrbo as: "5 BR Beach House in Oceanfront Family Resort" this led us to believe this was oceanfront property and thus we paid a higher premium based on that. In reality the property is tightly clustered with houses and is about 5 or 6 houses back from the ocean. In fact, you cant see the ocean at all even from the deck. The picture on Vrbo shows the house with a natural wood deck but it really has a white PVC railing and has a totally different look.. I would have given it a 1 star review but the owner communicated with us and let use use her golf cart at no charge. I was in tears when I discovered that this was indeed Not beachfront property as the reason we came to Myrtle Beach was to be on the beach and hear the ocean.

Beautiful place!
We were only here for 3 days, but it was our first time staying at Ocean Lakes. We were very impressed by the whole campground in general, but the unit we stayed in was absolutely wonderful and accommodated us perfectly. It had everything we needed and then some! Very updated unit and spacious. We will definitely consider coming back here!

What an Amazing Vacation!!
We had never stayed at Oceans Lakes before, but it was an amazing experience! The house is exactly as described and was perfect for our extended family of 10. The owner was accomodating and easy to work with. I highly recommend this vacation rental!!

Returning for a visit
My Family and I have been visiting Ocean Lakes for the last 5 years every Spring Break. This year the gentleman we rent from has retired and was unable to continue renting from him. So we found Pam, and she was great with communication and made me feel at ease in dealing with setting up a new vacation. The house met our expectations and was set up nicely and perfect for our needs just as noted in the profile. All the appliances and heating and air as well as the televisions and WiFi were all functional and ready - this was a plus for sure and shows efforts on maintaining the property. We plan on returning without hesitation. Thank you - John and Family!!

VERY NICE AND WELL KEPT PROPERTY!
We stayed October 6-13th 2019 and very much enjoyed this property. Pam was responsive, helpful and friendly. The house was plenty big, well maintained, clean and very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. There are some parts of the deck that felt as though they could use a touch up but aside from that Pam has a great property! Highly recommend.

Weekend softball stay
Four families stayed together for a softball tournament. House was perfect. We were close to the ball park and the girls were able to walk on the beach. Owner was very nice.

Pageant queen trip of a lifetime!
I’ve stayed in ocean lakes for 25 years this house was perfect! So perfect! I treated my miss georgia pageant queens to a beach get away and it was the perfect home. Cozy and adorable. Enough beds for all of us! Perfect distance from the beach. I will be booking this house for all of my miss georgia queens from now on. Not to mention Pam was delightful and quick to work with me everytime I contacted her. So helpful. Thank you for having us I’m already ready to book the 2020 queens!

Very nice beach house and great owner
I would have given 5 stars if it weren't for the check in process for parking passes. Although it is not the house owners fault, it makes the beginning of your vacation not so fun. Waited in traffic for almost an hour to get into the campground. The house was great for our party of 7 adults and 1 child. Plenty of room and everything was as advertised. You don't need a golf cart to get to the beach since it's only a few hundred yards away. But if you want to use every other amenity at the campground it is almost needed. The only thing we found wrong with the house was one of the upstairs shower heads was blocked and wouldn't let much water out. Overall we had a great family vacation and would rent from Pam again
