Great place to stay

Room was clean and perfect for the purpouse of the business trip. Friendly staff and very helpfull. Thai restaurant serves lovely food. I have been well supported during accomodation payment difficulties. High quality of customer service.

All was very good, just a small recommendation: from early morning on Sunday till about 10am a lot of very loud door banging. Some airfreshener in a room would give a nice, fresh smell🙂

A good base for longleat. Walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Breakfast was good Room ok, clean, shower hot and good pressure. Plenty of room in car park

Tired decor Lacked info about Wi-Fi, breakfast arrangements signal TV signal intermittent A bit dated and tired decor. Could have done with signage to return to bar/exit Not sure what city view meant as view was on to internal courtyard.

Lovely pub if you like to have a quiet drink, ideally located in the centre of Warminster.

Very friendly staff, locals and a good selection of beers. Bed was very comfortable with everything you would need to make a nice tea or coffee etc., and would definitely re-book this hotel again.

Bathroom could have done with a new shower although overall it all served it's purposes very well.

Staff couldn't check me in on my arrival as the girl behind the bar didn't know how. Once the second lady arrived they had a chat in what I can only assume to be Chinese for a good 5-10 minutes before I was asked for a second time what I'd like. Staff had difficulties understanding English Bog standard double room. Hairs in bed, shower cubicle, sink and on the tiles in the bathroom. Towels felt rough. Uncomfortable bed and can hear neighbouring rooms chatter.

lovely character property but also with a modern bedroom. staff very friendly and attentive.

Location

I booked a Superior Deluxe Double/Twin Room, but requested a Double, which was confirmed. The room was very basic, barely room to walk around the bed. Lacked any style or comfort. It said there was a seating area within the room. There was just one desk tight in the corner, with a stool under it! I dread to think what the Standard double room is like. It also stated a City view? Firstly this is Warminster, not Bath... and our view was out the back onto a courtyard.

Ok. No really strong points (apart from staff). No really bad points.

Car Parking, Continental Breakfast, Staff were vey pleasant and very helpful.

We are OAP'S and we were on the second floor (38 steps up). Wish they had a lift.

Location was great, staff very friendly, no sleep due to boiler/pump noise in room 107

Staff were lovely, attentive and helpful.

Every 30 minutes there was a noise from a pump/toilet or boiler that was so loud and carried on for a minute or two at a time that we got no sleep whatsoever, it was unfortunate as the room wasn’t bad at all, apart from being on the main road which was noisy but that is something we just would put up with anyway

The room was very dated, big crack along ceiling and down the wall, very noisy outside but no fan in room so had to have the windows open. Noisy floor boards from upstairs room, you could here every move they made.

The room was lovely, have stayed pre covid and they were a bit shabby before, can't fault the cleanliness.

Generally the staff were polite but breakfast was a big disappointment, we were okay with having a continental as due to staffing problems they couldn't provide a cooked breakfast, however a couple of loaves of bread dumped by the toaster , yoghurt , plums oranges and some really boring cereal, and no butter for the toast!!! They did offer a refund for the following morning which we took. Such a shame as there breakfasts used to be awesome.

Not withstanding the comments above, the Old Bell has a lot going for it and I will use it again!

A good breakfast, the room was fine and the staff member a very young blonde lady was excellent, very polite and efficient. This young lady raised the standards at the Old Bell. Yes we would use the Old Bell Warminster again!

The toilet seat was very loose but workable! The very long walk with heavy luggage to your room from the car park!

The Hotel room was too small too hot dirty with no hot water it is in a noisy location with inadequate ventilation. Bathroom was discusting

Served its purpose, somewhere to stay near to Longleat for an early start.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable but limited facilities - i.e. no clock, phone, TV was unwatchable - signal too poor, warm - no ac. Breakfast was good, delivered not buffet so not unlimited.

corridors looked a lot more rundown than the rooms, especially where we were near the unused upstairs function room. One of our two rooms had no window locks and scaffolding on the outside - so not secure. Sort out the TV signal!
