Perfect stay!

The room was amazing. It was not only comfortable and well equipped, but also beautiful and modern. It was the apartment with huge terrace and the access to it from each room. Windows went to the inner yard with wonderful view, that’s why it was quiet. All furniture was modern and new. Kitchen equipment is of the highest quality. There was a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave oven, induction stove, electric oven, 2 fridges, iron. Air conditioner worked perfectly and we could control it separately in the bedroom and in the living room. In general everything was very well thought out for the comfort of guests. Wardrobes, tables, sideboards, plenty of furniture to store your stuff. The couch in the living room was rather comfortable as well as the bed, however it was small. As it was our first experience with apartment, we didn’t prepare for such things as absence of soap, shampoo and cleaning, but you can take everything with you and clean apartment yourself of course, it was absolutely not a problem. Wi-fi worked great. Perfect beach is 450 m from the hotel, there are bakeries, small markets, restaurants nearby. A big supermarket is only 3 km from the hotel. We had a great time and definitely come back next year to Residence Chateauneuf!

Bed was a little bit small. There was a nice table on the terrace, which unfortunately was not cleaned after previous guests. It was covered by dog’s hair and it was very unpleasant. There was a problem in the shower , water was leaking outside.

Location is great, the rooms are nice and spacious enough, with a generous kitchen. There is parking available in the garage for 10 eur/day.

The kitchen utensils were not thoroughly washed and some a bit dated. There was no dishwashing liquid, although a sponge was provided.

Very spacious, close to the station but you can’t hear any trains. We had two bathrooms and two balconies - very convenient. Great air con. Close to the beach, however, about 10-15 mins walk to the main town square.

The washing machine had weird smell and some stains on the rubber around the door. We run it once at a high temperature and it was ready to use.

Great location but misleading images of the apartments.

The location was excellent. A 2 minute walk to the train station and well placed for access to everything Menton has to offer. The air-con worked well and was essential given the heat and humidity. The apartment was large and very clean.

The pictures on the website are very misleading. They show sea and mountain views. They show the apartments as warm and welcoming with flowers, pictures on the wall, books, ornaments, etc. There are no sea or mountain views. The apartments are not furnished as shown. Most of the pictures are of a common lounge area accessible only when the prooerty managers office is open. Even when it is you won't use it. During our stay, we found an answer in the FAQs saying there are no sea views. The apartment was large and reasonably comfortable but devoid of any home comforts. It was a large soul-less box. There are no welcoming touches like tea/coffee/milk/sugar. No condiments. There are good local supermarkets with everything needed, but it would be nice to have at least some basics.

Well...

- the internet connection is really bad. - the room was not clean, I had to clean the toilet myself. I asked at the reception to clean it and the cleaning lady jumped to say that she has done the cleaning (something unnecessary if she would be actually cleaning well). Then she took 4 hours to come to clean it. So I decided to do it myself. - there was hair of others in every corner of the room. - no one was there for the check out and no instructions were provided on how to check out. I waited there for about 15 minutes, called them, but still 24h after no one answered to confirm. I left the keys in the post box of the room. - the room has a strong sewage smell, the bathroom and the shower do not have ventilation, so the humidity and smells stay

+ Location is very good, close to the station if you want to go to the cities arround. + the room is spacious. + mattress was comfy and it has double window, so it is quiet.

Overall good location, central with amenities, nice base to walk around Menton.

*Good réception, good location, central, not far from the beach and restaurants. Shops nearby. spacious flat with all you need for a short stay

a bit tired, furniture needing replaced (broken cupboard door, Sofa bed looked tired), I know it is planned to refurbished this year 2023,

Very good and staff welcoming and available

The apartment is really within 2 minutes on foot from the Menton Casino and beach. The equipment provided was super. The studio was super clean, air conditioning is available. Towels were provided but no shower gel or soap (that was expected). The train station is within 5 minutes on foot and bus 100 to Nice also.

The only thing that was disturbing was that the train was passing 50 meters away from the apartments balcony and at 5:30 in the morning you risk hearing it.

the property was near the beach were dogs are allowed. the room was big enough for 2 people and our labby. the staff were nice and helpful there is a possibility to have a private parking - recommend it as the parking on the street were full and small size.

I loved my stay in the studio and would definitely recommend it.

Perfect location, close to the train station, beach, shops and most popular touristic places. And the view from the balcony was absolutely stunning!

As the studio is close to the train station, it's not the most quiet place.

Very clean, spacious and comfortable appartment. Close to beach , ideally located for the train station, across the road from delicious patisserie and coffee. The wifi only seemed to work in certain locations in the appartment but this was not really a problem.

Location brilliant, comfortable beds, staff professionnel and kind.

Construction Noise from neighbouring building starting early so no lie in. Fridge very noisy. Could have been cleaner...floors not washed. Bathroom dusty. More plates/cutlery needed in kitchen. More hangers.

Good

Fine and big apartment (45m2) with good rooms, kitchen and bath. Beatiful view. No sounds from the other apartments. Very kind and helpful personal in the reception.

Unfortunately a lot of disturbing noise from the garden due to renewal work. Disappointing. Because of that we didn't use the balcony at all. The kitchen was really fine but we missed a few things. We had no big kitchen knives for cooking and it was impossible to get from the reception. Bad smell from the bathroom during our whole stay. We were not able to lock the doors to the balcony. We were not informed that cleaning was not included, so we needed to do that by ourselves. Our booking confirmation said nothing about that, but we had been charged 70 euros if we had not done it ourselves.

Superb apartment -- shame about the noise.

Perfect apartment for a long stay. Kitchen was well equipped, bathroom spacious. The double bed in the bedroom was a small double but very confortable.

The noise. We deliberately booked a 'garden view' rather than the street side apartment in the hope that we would have a peaceful stay. Unfortunately the garden is being renovated and every morning from 8am there is the noise of jackhammers, excavators, sawing. The noise and the dust meant we couldn't use the balcony at all during our stay.
