Take advantage of special beach gear and bike credit! This Kiawah Island oceanfront vacation rental features 5 bedrooms, incredible oceans views, and access to a seasonal community pool. The villa is just steps from beach access.
Walk into the first floor of the villa and you are greeted with the staircase to the upper levels of the home. The second floor of the home houses the main living areas. The fully equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and bar with 4 bar stools overlooking the living and dining areas. The spacious living area offers a large flat-screen TV and DVD player, seating for all, and a stereo system with two large speakers. The dining area has seating for six and access to the second-floor porch.
The master suite, found on the third floor, features a king bed, TV, DVD player, sound system, access to a private deck, and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and a double sink vanity. On the second floor there is a bedroom with a queen bed, TV with DVD player, and private bathroom with shower. The 3 remaining bedrooms are found on the first floor. One bedroom has a daybed and private bathroom with shower. Another bedroom features a king bed, daybed, seating area, bathroom with a shower, and access to a screened porch. The last bedroom offers a king bed, TV, and private bathroom with tub/shower combo. This bedroom also has access to the screened porch.
Enjoy the breathtaking ocean views from one of the 3 outdoor areas! This villa features two screened porches, one on the first floor and another on the second. The first floor screened porch leads to the beach boardwalk. The third floor offers a private deck which is accessible from the master suite.
The villa is equipped washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet. There are two reserved parking spaces in front of the villa.
Pets are welcome for an additional fee of $50 per pet per day.
Guests have access to the community pool (approximately 55ft x 20ft). The pool is unheated and open seasonally.

Property had great location steps from beach! Our weather was great, rained one night.
Their were some minor maintenance issues but they did not interfere with our stay. Everyone wants to go back!

The location of the home was perfect…close to the walkway to the beach, lovely ocean views. It worked well for our large family. It was dog friendly which worked for us, but there was some dog hair from a previous dog visitor. Also, the master bedroom had a broken sleep number bed. It was hard as rock and wouldn’t inflate. The management company said it would bring over a mattress pad but never did. Also, several of the outside doors wouldn’t lock.

The villa was very large and spacious! Bonus that each bedroom had its own bathroom.
Especially loved the ocean views. There were a few maintenance issues (most didn't bother us, just wanted the property manager to know so we didn't get charged.) Property management was very responsive.
The top floor master is beautiful; though like previous reviews, we did have issues getting it cooled.
Overall loved the house and would certainly recommend!

The set-up of the home was wonderful for us, spacious and great views and connection to the beach. The weather was very strange, warm and foggy, but we made the best of it. Omicron kept us from exploring as much as we would have liked. We appreciated your little touches: soaps, tied towels, etc.

The layout was great, with my husband & I staying on the main floor, the oldest son as his family used the 3 bedrooms on the ground floor and my youngest son had the 2nd floor bedroom. However, there were several issues: the front door was hard to work and you had to turn it the opposite way to get it to open; the lock box also was hard to use; the ground floor master bedroom sliding door could not be locked (and it went to the outside); since there were 3 families we needed 3 parking places which was a little dicey; and several light bulbs needed replacing; and the condo could have been cleaned better than it was. Also, with a condo that size, 2 dishwashers would have been nice (it IS Kiawah, after all) and a few more plates, flatware in the kitchen.

We chose this rental for our family and friends because of the proximity to the beach and the size of the property. Let me say it was an awesome choice! The property management checked with us daily to see if there were any problems or needs and there were none! This property was spotless on our arrival. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked…the view was incredible! The pool was so awesome for our little ones and the beach was clean and beautiful!
I had read reviews of this property that were not flattering…I packed an entire suitcase of portable air conditioners because there were complaints about the upstairs bedroom being hot! The upstairs bedroom heat was remedied by the temperature thermostat on the wall and a simple fan! I read reviews that said the furniture was not comfortable and was shabby…the furniture is great and the perfect color for a beach vacation! I read reviews that said so many unkind things and we found none of them to be true!
If you are planning a beach vacation to Kiawah Island, SC, this property is an amazing choice for a large group…go there and enjoy the beauty of the island!

The location and layout of was perfect for our multi-general family stay. The cleaning staff was very efficient - the villa was very clean. The minute walk to the beach was great. The kitchen has a great layout, simply needs a few additional non-stick skillets and sauce pots with lids. We all found the mattresses to be very uncomfortable. They need to be replaced. We all look forward to returning. The Aker's team was very helpful. Please update the mattresses!

The location of the house with its ocean view was perfect. The house had plenty of room for our group of six plus a baby. Except for a large deck on the top floor, off the the master bedroom, the house has not livable outdoor space except a small balcony and a small back deck (no view). It looked like the bathroom were renovated; they looked nice and were spacious. The kitchen was nice as well however, the accessories were underwhelming. Given the pandemic, we were expecting a house smelling fresh and clean (we were hoping to actually smell bleach) but on the contrary the house smelled stuffy. The kitchen especially had an unpleasant odor and only after two days, inside a kitchen cabinet, we found a pot with 3 inches of tomato sauce inside of it. Neither to say, it was disgusting. We placed the pot on the balcony and called the management. We simply received an apology but the pot has never been picked up. Removing the pot and waiving the cleaning fee, would have been the right answer from management. A newer and cleaner vacuum cleaner would have also been nice. We tried to use the one at hands but it emitted a terrible smell and the bag was already almost full. The furniture were ok, not all the seating arrangement were comfortable and the outdoor loungers on the top deck were ripped and therefore uninviting. On a positive note, we we were granted an extra two hours at check out. Despite everything, we enjoyed the vicinity to the beach and the wonderful view.

This is our family’s second vacation at this property. Its wonderful location is just minutes from the beach, and the den and porches boast sweeping views of the ocean. The open layout and en suite bathrooms are perfect for groups. We took advantage of bike rentals and loved exploring. Akers Real Estate was a pleasure to rent through, as well. Highly recommend!

We stay in these cottages every year and this was was in our top favorites. You cannot get a better location for the money. The guest guide in the villa was very helpful and made choosing dinner locations a whole lot easier!

I loved the views from this villa. The hardwood floors and updates were beautifully done inside as well. It was so convenient being at the front of the island, and the check in process was great. If we come back to Kiawah I will be renting here again!

It is our favorite place to stay because of the ocean view and close proximity to the beach and grocery store. We also like that we can bring our dogs with us. The house is spacious with an open floor plan and can easily accommodate our group of 8 (6 adults and 2 teenagers).

We loved our time on Kiawah Island in this very nice villa. Ocean views and breezes throughout the villa, breakfast on the porch watching the sunrise over the beach every morning, walking right out to the boardwalk from the back steps to the amazing beach, using the shower on the boardwalk to wash off our sandy feet before returning to the villa, bike rides all over the island on many miles of bike paths, and a bonus day trip into the beautiful city of Charleston. It was hard to leave! Thank you for a wonderful Kiawah Island experience.

I thought this was a great location. Being on the front of the Island was great allowing you to get to places to eat quicker. The condition of the place was great. The only problem we had during the stay was the wireless kept going out. We contacted to agency and they came out the next day a fixed it. This has been one of the best places that I have stayed at on the Island. I would recommend this to people that like to cook as well. It has a great Kitchen though they do need to add more cookware but the kitchen was amazing. It is was nice to be able to walk out to the beach and also come back in for a quick bite to eat being only 100 yards from the beach. The place is spacious, scenic, and comfortable. I recommend this place for families to rent.

This villa was even more lovely than the photos. The owners have thought of everything to make this vacation experience a memorable one, the house has everything. We planned this as a mini family reunion of sorts. We plan to return. The property managers were very helpful in giving dining suggestions and we loved the new grocery store on the island as well as Freshfields. We suggest dining at Lokal on Bohicket and visiting the Angel Tree while there. It is awesome. Thank you again for everything. We loved your DVD library and choices of books. Loved seeing the beach views and the sunrise and sunset from the bedroom and living room!

This is our second time coming to this property. It is in a great location on the island. The Duneside Villas are located on a quiet street, beach is directly behind the unit, the Straw Market (shops, restaurant, etc) is a short walk down the road, and beach access right off of your villa!! It was also wonderful to have access to the community pool which was all ours sometimes! The management company, Akers Ellis, is very easy to work with. They are very responsive and helpful and make everything a piece of cake. I'll be back!
