Comfortable, relaxing, lake view, friendly people all around.

Perfect location on west shore. Step out the sliding door and enjoy the lake right in front of you. The space is clean and comfortable.

Assigned parking was really close and convenient, and it was handy to have the code for the door. We loved making the quick walk up the hill to get coffee, gelato, and burgers across the street and basic groceries at Tahoma Market (<5 minutes). We also walked to the beach at Sugar Pine Point to rent kayaks!

My husband and I along with our adult son spent several days here. It’s a wonderful location, right on the water. We enjoyed being able to walk across the street for dinner and gelato. We were there during a heat wave and management brought two fans right away which made sleeping more comfortable. Yes the place is dated but the location makes up for it! While there were crowds at the beach, it was manageable and never loud in the condo. Would definitely stay here again.

The property is perfect for a relaxing stay on the lake. Walk across the street to great food and the Tahoma Market is also walkable. Been coming to Waters Edge for decades. Best location. Condo is very relaxing. Will come again. Just wish VRBO didn’t gouge fees.

*Difficult check-in. No advance instructions. Had to search for a # to call to get an email sent to us. *We walked in to a dryer in operation. It made us feel like we were intruding or that someone else was in the room. It was a load of towels, which we had to run through an additional dryer cycle.*Maintenance guy walked for no reason without knocking. He changed our access code and didn't tell us. Called Mgmt office, no response for hours. *Known internet connectivity issues and common power outages posted in welcome book but not advertised in advance. Several in our party needed to work remotely from time-to-time. It would have been beneficial to know. I get why it wasn't advertised, we might have booked elsewhere, but it's not cool to keep that information from potential guests.*No pool key to be found anywhere.*"Private Beach" was not private at all. People were constantly crowded outside our door. We had hoped for quiet and relaxing, but we were constantly on edge because of all the people literally in our face. The only quiet time was early in the morning. * The place was worn, but clean. * Unfortunately, the towels and bedding were damp. The comforters and sheets literally soaked through our clothes when we sat on the bed. It was impossible to sleep in a wet bed. Similarly, the folded towels were all damp on the inside. * The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash that were provided would have been a nice gesture, except the body wash was filled with water. *

Overall a positive stay. The listing and reviews were mostly accurate - beautiful views, functional but tired condo.

The apartment is really outdated. Need renovation. The property is right at the lakefront, the view is beautiful.
I was able get help from the host. And they are very nice and helpful.

Best location on the lake, walk out to the water. Just bring water shoes as the lake is low and rocky.

Lakefront condo was perfect for our family of 4 to walk out to the dock to watch the sunrise and sunset as well as get in the water from the small rocky beach. We found boat and kayak rentals less than 2 miles down the road and kept them for the few days we were there for ease. There was a great pizza shop, coffee shop and store within a block or so of the condo.
The 2 bedrooms fit our family perfectly and the condo had all the amenities to make meal prep easy.
The place was very comfortable, just a bit dated in the decor and carpet and there were a few cobwebs in the corners, but we spent most our time outdoors so it didn't bother us.

We had an amazing time for a long weekend and was better than expected! The views are wonderful and we almost didn’t even try to leave the whole time we stayed. We had a little issue with the key pad but the Guest Services were really great and accommodating. Keeping our fingers crossed to visit/stay again in the future!

Location was great, property was clean.
The location was difficult to find and the property managers were not helpful.

Couldn't be closer to the lake!
In all my years, I have never stayed closer to the lake. What a comfortable, bright place literally on the shore of Tahoe. The end of the driveway to the designated parking space was a bit icy the night we arrived, but it was better navigating in the daylight. Be advised in winter, you definately need all wheel drive and healthy tires.

Private beach!
We had a great time here, and are considering plans for next fall--we saw less than 20 people over the 4 days because it wasn't peak season, and finished the stay with a bear walking past the sliding glass door. Truly restful!

Great time.
Loved the proximity to the lake. Fun to meet and talk with other visitors on the beach front. Welcome managers were great and called us enroute to the property the day of check in. The actual property manager of Water's Edge was helpful and walked the area frequently. Very enjoyable weeks stay.

Location perfection
This property could not have been more perfectly situated, only steps to the beach and water, and right by the community dock. Nicely equipped kitchen. It needs some general repair and TLC, and more than a weekly surface cleaning. Carpets are old and in bad need of cleaning. Bed linens and beds are fair. There is no air conditioning, which we heard is generally not needed, but there are no overhead fans and door/window screens are off or missing, so forget about opening up for fresh air. Towels that were provided were laundered but old and stained. Living room furniture seemed in good shape. All in all, we agreed that you rent this place for its location, which was perfect and in a beautiful area.

Very nice location, cozy place
As with any rental property, some things could have been better maintained and kept (i.e. the carpet, the outside patio, the grill). But the location is the best value of this property being right on the beach.

Great stay on the lake
The property was just as expected. The unit was clean and comfortable. The only complaint would be the beds. The beds were just not as comfortable as expected. Other than that we had a fabulous time. Carl, Colleen, Jim, and Lindy

Relaxing getaway with an astonished view to the calm water of Tahoe Lake
It was our first visit to Tahoe Lake and I'm glad that we chose this cozy house.
I liked the most:
1. Morning coffee with the magic view on Tahoe Lake. In the morning it was like a mirror.
2. Evening next to the fireplace after a long hike or day on a ski.
3. It wasn't crowded at all, maybe because it was between winter and summer season.
Hope to return there again and at least for a week.
Thank you)

Beautiful view
Great view of lake and the mountains. Literally 10 steps from the beach and private dock. Very quiet neighbors and our stay was very relaxing. I would 10/10 stay here again in both the summer and winter.

Excellent location with a great view and convenient access to a cute pier.
We really enjoyed our stay at this lakeside house. We appreciated that the fireplace was already going when we got there, and we loved watching the sunrise and sunset over the lake just outside our window every single day. One or more floor lamps in the living room might have helped brighten up the place, but we had a great time nonetheless.

This is the second time we have stayed here. We love being right on the lake.Stunning view. We got here just as a storm arrived. The lake was constantly changing.

Steps from the Lake
Just steps from Lake Tahoe. Property was clean and just as we expected from the listing. Had a few problems, but the management company was quick to respond. The only complaint was there was not enough light in the kitchen or one bedroom. Definitely needs better lighting the the bedroom, actually could not see in closet or dresser during certain times of the day. Also, kitchen was well equipped, except not enough silverware. 4 teaspoons and 5 table knives, really? Would stay again, but would bring a couple of lamps.

Love, love loved this unit’s closeness to the water. Very happy with how well stocked it was. Just a great place.

Quiet Winter Lake Weekend
Very cozy cabin that is right on the lake (as in, walk out your front door, take about 30 steps & you’re in it.) Only small complaint is living room/kitchen is not very well lit (probably not an issue as much in Summer.) I can see it being very loud/festive here in the Summer given the main walkway is right between you and the beach, which is fine if you don’t mind that. But for winter, it was perfect & complex was mostly empty. We would go back for sure.

needs a little work
Great location. Terribly clunky and heavy kitchen/dining room chairs and stools. UNUSABLE and dangerous barbeque. Dishes are inadequate and more appropriate for camping. There is no on-site property manager.

Great place and location
Overall we loved staying here and would love to stay again! Such a wonderful location just steps from the water. The directions to the unit need to be a bit more complete and we had some issues with the keypad. Also there were notes everywhere about the pool key but no pool key anywhere. We had to email the property manager to figure that out. Also would be nice to have some directions for the tv system. There are 4 boxes and several remotes and no instructions. Overall though we loved it and will be back!

Awesome location right on the water
We absolutely loved this condo, perfect spot, we loved how open the kitchen, living and dining room is. 10 feet from patio to water. Perfect, we will be back.
