Buena ubicación y gran staff.

El baño no estaba del todo limpio y el agua no escurría del baño. Si bien hacen aseo todos los días, nosotros nos hospedamos 6 días y nunca nos cambiaron sábanas. El wifi era muy lento, no funcionaba bien y se caía a cada rato.

Very good

The relaxed vibe, rooftop area to 'chill' and cleanliness. You come back after a day out and your room has been made up, swept, clean bed, towels folded (same ones), and an amazing smell. The beds were comfy. Really nice and welcoming staff.

The only thing was the hill with all of the bags

Lovely accomodation. Hosts and owners very friendly and accomodating and answered all our questions patiently. Great location. Occasional power cuts but to be expected on an island.

Clean rooms and quiet but close location to the main pier. Furthermore, the owners are very polite and gladly help you with any questions! We came back after spending some days on Sanloem because we öiked it so much.

Unfortunately after a power shortage (what happens every now and then), the wifi didn't work anymore for multiple hours.

One of the better places to stay in Koh Rong

One of the better places to stay om the island. The place has a generator so you will get ac for all of the night and some of the day (which is great for this island). The owner is very friendly and made me feel very welcome. In a good location in the heart of town. I would recommend staying here.

The electricity cutting - if you wanted to increase your rating then mayve more generators so that there is ac 24/7. Water used for flushing was yellow (note that shower water was clean and clear)

The location was away from the noise of all the backpackers and the stay was overall comfortable. The staff were friend

The shower/toilet combo didn’t drain and we had to walk in standing water. I think just providing a broom would work, and I’m sure staff would have taken care of it if we’d asked (we only showered the night before we left).

great location, close to action but tucked away enough to provide peace and quiet, great views of the ocean from the upper bungalows

Highly recommend

After a mix-up with our rooms at Nest Hostel(our fault). We hiked across the island with a rake of luggage in the blistering heat. Stressed to the nines, we were in desperate need of a nice room and a welcoming host. And Happy Elephant Bungalows provided us with exactly that. The rooms are spacious and clean and cost just 15€... incredible. The host, Grkhi(I hope I´ve spelled that right) is inconceivably welcoming. A genuinely helpful man with a love for hospitality. Bargain!

An absolute bargain to stay in. We wanted somewhere to chill for 3 days that would be comfortable and that's exactly what we got. The owner is lovely, the shower has hot water & a hammock on the decking which is perfect for relaxing in. Would definitely stay again.

The curtains on the door need to be blackout. The sockets need to be updated, the plugs kept falling out of them because they've gone loose. Our door needs to be fixed as it doesn't close fully to the point where they meet.

Perfect stay !

The bungalows are really nice and comfortable, perfectly clean, the whole place is well maintained, the location is just perfect, and the owner, what an owner !!! Super friendly and super efficient, he can literally help you with anything you may need. Everything with him is clear, simple and efficient. From the scooter rental to the boat tour booking, you can trust him 100%. Definitely recommend this place to stay on the island! Thanks again for everything!

calm and relax

lovely wood bungalow located up koh rong surround by jungle threes 5 mint from the beach not high luxury but totally worth the money!

there is no a/c on the room but 2 fan that work perfectly we actually prefer it :)

Quite far from the nicer beaches and Koh Toch is still quite quiet due to covid whereas we were expecting a bit more to be going on

Amazing View & super friendly host!

The cottage with sea view is just perfect! You can relax in your hammock, watch the sunrise, surrounded by nature! The host is super friendly and helpful!

I really enjoyed it there and would recommend it to people who have a small budget.

Very comfortable bungalow in a great setting in the village but slightly away from the crowd. The amenities were basic but adequate for someone on a small budget. This is a place for people who don't mind the open air and don't freak out over a bug or two. Coffee provided in the room. Cats and dogs around to come visit on your balcony.

The place is still advertised as having wifi, but due to Covid and extremely high internet prices, wifi is not available even in most of the other businesses. Daily power cuts in the morning and afternoon.

Nice and quiet stay in the middle of the action with friendly staff

Very friendly and helpful staff that accommodated our requests. The location is very central but far enough away from the beach so that you can have a quiet night's sleep, great value for money, and they have free water refills which is a plus!

You need to walk up a bit of a steep hill to get there but it's not too long and it's worth it!

Overpriced and full with mosquitoes.

The bungalow had a nice view, the owner was really nice and helpful. The bed was comfortable and we had a fridge in the room, that was nice. The wifi was good. Relative to the price we payed, 70Euro/ night, the place did not live up to expectations.

The bungalow has a serious problem with mosquitoes. Even if we had a mosquito-net, they managed to get in. In the bathroom there were nests of mosquitos, being bitten even during a shower. The place needs a thorough cleaning. When we got there, I threw my backpack on the cushioned chair, and a cloud of dust and mosquitos came out. The sheets and towels were blue and red so it is hard to say if they were clean enough. I have stayed in semi-open bungalows before and they were cleaner with better control of the mosquito situation.
