Unfriendly ,dirty ,cheap you get what you pay for I will not be returning to 10 Hastings street

Location was the best thing about the apartment

The bed had clean sheets but that was it ,sides of bed were dirty a bloody small handprint on balcony wall outside ,sand on the floor . Nobody messaged us the code to get the key . I rang 3 times and messaged twice the girl from the restaurant helped us even tell us this was not her job . We had paid for our stay were we just meant to go away a really bad start to our weekend away .

OK if you have enough money and just want to surf all day and doss down after a few drinks.

Location. Parking. Breakfast restaurant and its staff are nice.

Tired, tiny and grotty rooms. Stains on chair padding and quilt bedding and hair grease on bedboards. However linen and towels clean and white. One wonky bedside reading light. Flooding tiny bathroom when you shower. Small old TV and small sagging mattress. Feet get muddy after showering from the dirt in the vinyl floor. Another guest we met claims she was told she could stay somewhere else when she complained about the floor.

Unfortunately our bed was so uncomfortable and was advertised as a large double bed but was actually just a double bed, you could feel the springs in your back and the bottom sheets weren't long enough to have them tucked in properly so as soon as we moved they just bunched up underneath us. A comfortable bed is a big deal especially as a couple having a night off away from kids - we just wanted a good nights sleep! Also the pillows had nothing to them, super thin. I would more rate this hotel a a 3 star not a 4 star.

More comfortable beds, mattress, pillows and not on wheels.

Although it wasn’t the most pleasant experience it was in a great location and was comfortable enoug

The location was great. I liked how there was aircon (although quite noisy) as well as a fan, much needed in hot weather. The main. contact, Olivia, was very friendly, helpful and attentive to my needs. I couldn’t believe she was also working as a waitress too in the restaurant, very organised and on the ball. The staff on the evening if my stay was helpful too, after I reported a wet floor he left a towel in the room and did not charge me for the chai latte.

The room was quite small. The staff at breakfast, when I went to pay the bill he said he gave me a discount for staying there but there was nothing deducted based on my calculations.

Perfect 3 night beach getaway!

The room was a perfect fit and size for my family, consisting of 2 x Adults & 1 x 13yr old.

The tap was dripping continuously in the bathroom and the pillows on the bed were very flat.

A slight upgrade in furnishings will make this unit extremely delightful and awesome value for money

Location is great. Staff who take and deal with bookings need to be nicer

Disappointing that breakfast wasn’t included. On the phone before arrival wanting to amend bookings staff were difficult to contact and brusque and unhelpfu to the point of rudeness. Once there, though, the girl who served us food and came to the room when the TV didn’t work was really nice and helpful. Aircon was great.

The bed moved around on the floor a lot! Bathroom was tiny, too small for comfort.

A wonderful trip down memory lane with some delightful supprised.

Excellent location, clean and roomy.

There was a lot of noise from to occupants in the room above. And the bedside table did not really allow enough level surface for my ResMed sleep machine.

VERY DISAPPOINTED...... especially

Aircon room 1 DIDN'T WORK AT ALL on 35 deg day. Fan only worked on Low Speed. Sweltered UNBEARABLY all night. Couldn't leave balcony door open due bugs and NO SCREEN. Sand on unswept floor gritty and annoying on feet !!! Vacated in disgust before Sunrise.

The location was handy to everything.

Unfortunately the air conditioner wasn’t working which made the room uncomfortable, breakfast was offered as an apology however it was meant to be included in the stay. We decided not to stay for breakfast as we were to hot from the room.

I was only there one night but I would definitely recommend it

I enjoyed breakfast. It was lovely sitting outside eating after I’d been in the restaurant in a quiet corner for 2 hours doing some accounting on the laptop

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. It’s a lovely set up they have and very efficiently run and very convenient to everything
