The hotel is in a good location, especially if your room sees the stunning view facing Gavea rock along with Sao Conrado beach. The only downside is that you will bear a little bit more cost of daily Taxi/Uber to all the main city attractions compared with a more centrally located hotel. The metro station isn't far indeed, but it is very close to a rough area (Rocinha Favella). A police car stays in front of the hotel main entrance at all times, which adds to the feel of safety during the stay/pickup and drop off times.
Despite the high cost of stay in a junior suite, the AC sound is really loud and the sliding toilet door was broken. I reported the faulty door three times but we were simply ignored. When we arrived, we had one little bottle of shampoo and one conditioner for both of us. We were only provided more with some body lotion when we called the room service. No shower slippers or shower gel available, only soap bars. No shower robes are provided to rooms without a bath tub which is really pathetic.
At the end of breakfast buffet, I reported to a member of staff that the big dispensing ice water container seems to gave sediments and I showed them 6 water glasses having white stuff in them (empty glasses appeared visually clean). He apologised, removed the container and no replacement was offered which made me very sceptical about the level of cleanliness in the kitchen or the source of the water offered in the breakfast buffet. We didn't like the breakfast and dinner in the hotel overall, in terms of taste and variability/options. Staff on the customised Tapioca/Eggs section can be more friendly. However, MASI was really a very good experience. We had dinner there twice and I would highly recommend.
After breakfast, there are designated members of staff meant to be taking a quick verbal survey from customers on daily basis about their stay and if there are concerns. Everything I reported to them, including the faulty suite toilet door, were not actioned. Therefore, it is a clearly useless show/exercise and a complete waste of the guests time.
It is sad as I believe that this hotel, with its design and location, is a great asset and has a much better potential.

El desayuno podría variar un poco más, ya que después de 3 días desayunando exactamente lo mismo uno se aburre y estando allí 12 días fue difícil querer desayunar allí todos los días. Una variedad diferente por lo menos dos veces en la semana sería buena
El internet del hotel podría ser mejor ya que era dificil sincronizar con las tvs y la señal para las llamadas en el teléfono era débil. Hubo 3 noches que ligué para pedir el jantar en el cuarto y nadie atendió, tuvo e que bajar y pedir directamente en restaurante para después ellos subirla.

Nada me gustó! La primera habitación tenía una horrible distribución y además pulgas por lo que pedimos que nos cambien de habitación. Además no había toalla de manos ni de piso. Al quejarnos Nos trajeron una y en malísimo estado y la del piso era una toalla cortada. Las sábanas de la segunda habitación todas agujereadas. Un horror todo! El desayuno un desastre!

Passei um fim de semana prolongado para comemorar meu aniversário. O quarto e muito bom. Hotel pé na areia só atravessar a rua e fornece toalha para levar para praia. A piscina muito boa com bar que serve drinks maravilhosos vi muita reclamação sobre preço caro de bebida e comida mas está no padrão.
Quando reservei fiquei preocupada pois li algumas avaliacões ruins sobre o hotel mas ainda bem que eu não desisti gostei muito. Realmente já na chegada tem funcionário convidando para a tal palestra recusei e pronto.

El hotel está limpio y bien cuidado. La piscina y playa ayudan mucho al ambiente.
Es un lugar óptimo para familias y la gente que va por trabajo también tiene cabida.
El kids club puede mejorar, las chicas que atienden se involucran poco y la seguridad adentro es baja.
El personal deja mucho que desear dado que no hablan español ni inglés, en general son poco atentos y serviciales: pedimos 3 veces que trajeran toallas, luego lo mismo para un secador de pelo y así…se demoran en todo.

Un hôtel à l'architecture remarquable à Rio, mêlant habilement modernité, grandeur et design circulaire. Les chambres offrent une vue magnifique grâce à leurs immenses baies vitrées, offrant des panoramas sur la mer, la montagne et les favelas, peu importe l'étage ou l'orientation. Toutes les commodités étaient présentes, avec un mini-bar, un coffre-fort et même une grande planche et un fer à repasser dans ma chambre.
point négatif concerne le personnel à la réception, où seuls 2 sur 4 étaient souriants et à l'écoute. Le jeune homme et la dame présents lors de mon arrivée et de mon départ semblaient assez hautains. De plus, les heures d'arrivée et de départ, entre 11h et 15h, entraînent des files d'attente assez impressionnantes à la réception. Cependant, l'attente est courte , autre point négatif pour ma part , aux environs immédiats de l'hôtel, il y a peu d'activités à faire en soirée en toute sécurité.

Excelente y muy bonito hotel de los mejores que he podido visitar, instalaciones de primera, habitacion super espaciosa y hermosa vista si reservas las del lado del mar, bien aisladas del ruido y cama super comoda, incluye desayuno buffet muy bueno y completo, al igual que el gimnasio muy bien equipado grande y vista bella, playa cruzando la calle me gustaria regresar, perfecta relacion calidad precio. Es un verdadero 5 estrellas tiene todo lo que necesitas

The hotel is very impressive - as soon as you arrive you feel like you are in a high-end hotel.
Car parking valet service was great - you just arrive, drop the car off, paid there and then and go to the hotel, very easy. You can get your car anytime of the day or night.
Our room was very modern, clean and spacious and the VIEWS were AMAZING!!!!!!!
Breakfast has plenty of choice and the area is large and spacious, no complaints.
The location is a little further from the city centre but suited us. Uber's are cheap so isn't a problem.
The beach is literally 2mins walk across the road and it's a fantastic beach which is just as good as Copacabana or Ipanema but just more quiet and chilled out and WAY less people!!
The pool area was a highlight - fantastic large pool (including shallow pool for kids) and it was never really that busy so never an issue getting a table or chair.
I would highly recommend staying in this hotel
There is not many 'things to do' or restaurants or shops in the area (apart from the small shopping mall nearby) and the area around the hotel is quiet but his may suit some people.

Teniamos pension completa y la comida fue muy buena pero poco variada. Tanto el almuerzo como la cena. El desayuno si, impecable.
Nuestra habitación era claramente para dos personas a pesar de haber abonado una estadia para un matrimonio con un niño de 12 años. Cuando nos agregaron la cama supletoria no podiamos movernos dentro de la habitación y sólo podiamos bajar de la cama matrimonial del lado de la ventana.
La vista no era buena porque daba a un edificio contiguo que no nos permitia ver la playa-

O Hotel é maravilhoso. A vista do quarto é de tirar o fôlego. A praia de São Conrado é linda.
O lençol estava com um pequeno rasgo. A toalha de rosto mais parecia um pano de limpeza. O café da manhã no final de semana tinha muita gente para o espaço reservado para o mesmo. Na piscina não tinha toalha nem cadeira disponivel. Na praia poucos guarda-sois para a quantidade de hóspedes. Coisas que realmente não condizem com o hotel.

Não tínhamos toalhas de banho nos quartos, nao trocaram as toalhas durante serviço de quarto, cafe da manha ruim e desorganizado, buffet do restaurante deixa muito a desejar

Hotel com arquitetura icônica. Quarto é extraordinário. Piscina e jardim são fantásticos. Café da manhã é muito bom. Ainda há a possibilidade de almoço e janta com serviço de buffet com preço justo.
No check-in é ofertado aos hóspedes a possibilidade de adquirir quotas do hotel. Achei esta abordagem desnecessária.

Quarto e todos os ambientes do hotel muito bem decorados, limpos e super confortáveis. Academia com ótima estrutura. Equipe atenciosa e prestativa. Pudemos continuar aproveitando a piscina após o check out e guardaram nossas bagagens.

Podría mejorar en el hall hace falta 1 personal más referente a la recepción de maletas, una persona no puede encargarse de todos los huéspedes.
Otra cosa importante, mejorar el check in, explicar concretamente las utilidades de accesorios (tarjeta y pulsera) si es factible enfatizar en la ubicación de los cuartos, como usar el ascensor con los botones generales.

Atendimento ruim, pedimos quatro vezes uma toalha a mais por que faltava no nosso apartamento. Elevadores deram problemas e demoramos 15 minutos na fila. Nossa filha ficou presa em um dos elevadores.

O quarto estava todo novinho, o tamanho do quarto é muito espaçoso como espaço com sofá e mesa de centro, a vista maravilhosa! O banheiro também bem espaço, com espelho para maquiagem, o banheiro é de vidro e é muito lindo. Caso não queira aberto só fechar a cortina .

Experiência: SUÍTE LUXO COM VISTA PRO MAR
POSITIVO: café da manhã diverso, cama ampla e confortável, banheiro amplo com vista pro mar, chuveiro bom, vista pro mar incrível, lobby lindo. Os drinks e petiscos do bar Karybé são bem bons. A praia em frente ao hotel é bem calma. Tem café expresso cortesia no quarto (4 capsulas de nespresso). Projeto luminotécnico do quarto é bem legal, e possui led colorido o que ajuda a relaxar a noite. Climatizador funciona bem. Possui ferro e tábua de passar roupa disponível no quarto pros hospedes.
NEGATIVO: Atendentes pouco amigáveis (recepcionistas, camareiros, limpezas, barman), limpeza do quarto muito ruim (do chão precariamente limpo aos lençóis de cama que NUNCA foram trocados durante as 5 diárias que ficamos hospedados). Passei meu aniversário no hotel, ganhei flores, solicitei ao serviço de camareiros um vaso pra colocá-las e simplesmente fui ignorado. O serviço de concierge simplesmente não existe (mesmo eles informando que é ofertado). O restaurante possui preços muito a quem do serviço que entregam, e acredite um simples KITKAT disponível no quarto pra compra custa 15,00 (inacreditável né? Pelo menos eu achei). Porém além de tudo isso, o mais grave foi o problema/dificuldades com o elevador, o predio conta com mais de 30 andares, e mesmo assim, em regra apenas 1 dos 3 elevadores costumava funcionar pra mim, que aliás cheguei a esperar (por mais de 3x ao dia) mais de 30 minutos tranquilamente pra subir ou descer. Por fim, o hotel tem vários funcionários ofertando cotas para diversos interessados, o que acaba sendo muito inconveniente pra hospedes, pois lotam os elevadores, nos corredores você acaba ouvindo todo o processo de negociação entre eles, muito chato pra quem tá querendo apenas relaxar.

El cruce para ir a la playa... deberia existir algun paso mejor para atravesar esa ruta, en relación a un hotel de esa jerarquia. La playa enfrente del hotel tiene un acceso espantoso. No es posible bajar por escaleras de madera que son incomodas para bajar. Quizas el hotel deberia colaborar con el mantenimiento de ese sector.

Acesso de carro/taxi ruim (desembarque na rua, rampa distante para idosos, ninguém para ajudar com a bagagem, buffet muito ruim (café da manhã e almoço), lugares insuficientes no café da manhã, desorganização na disposição das comidas, funcionários pouco prestativos, vários pedidos básicos indisponíveis (kit de beleza, toalha de piscina, água de coco), pulseirinha para hóspedes tipo beach park com fiscalização descortês.

Serviço e atendimento do bar da piscina muito bom, em especial o Flávio e o Inácio, estão de parabéns eles são ótimos. Super atenciosos e amigáveis.
Lençol, sem roupão no quarto, sem quit básico de higiene no quarto, vidros do banheiro sujo, poucas espreguiçadeiras e um monte de funcionários querendo mostrar uma apresentação do hotel que nós fizemos para não deixá-los sem graça e avisamos na reserva que estávamos comemorando vinte e quatro anos de casados e não nos deixaram nenhuma surpresa.
