Amazing place to relax; great vibes

The staff was super friendly and helpful! Made us feel like home from day one. The vibes at this place are great, it is within walking distance from the beach, and we had the opportunity to relax when desired. You are within short driving distance to the center of the town, where you will have things too do at night

Fantastic!

Excellent, big breakfast, lovely staff, specialzed treatment, beautiful pool and surrounding pool furniture, well maintained grounds and buildings, small and personal as opposed to huge and full of strangers.

There is nothing to not like! It is the place I always go to when I surf at Playa Encuentro.

Sehr schöne Anlage mit modernem Aufenthaltsbereich, Pool und Liegen. Sehr nettes Personal. Super Angebot mit Sportprogramm und Eisbad.

Der Weg von den Beach Bungalows zum Haupthaus fußläufig machbar, aber nicht zu unterschätzen - am besten fährt man mit dem Auto.

Comfortable family rooms in coool

Small boutique hotel with super cool and spacious rooms. The service was marvelous and the breakfast very yummy . We loved our 2 night stay here

Everything was great … this excellent value for the money . If anything is that you need a car to get around as it’s not in Cabarete town but a bit on the outside

I would highly recommend El Encuentro Surf Lodge to anyone visiting this area.

Grounds were beautiful; amazing pool for relaxing swim in the evening (no restricted hours for use!!) We enjoyed a free yoga class on our first day. Food at the restaurant was excellent. Short walk to the surfing beach. Couldn't ask for more.

Wifi was not working in our room the first day, but as soon as we mentioned it, the staff reset the router and fixed the issue.

Nicely located and decorated hotel with great food and friendly service

Everything was clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast included was really good. It’s a 5 minute walk to the beach.

The bed was hard. No other complaints.

Really amazing staff who make you feel so welcome and want to make sure you have a great stay and that you’re comfortable. Special thanks to Juan Carlos who is super helpful and cheerful always. This place just has such a great vibe because of its people who work there. Food is delicious. Rooms are very clean and comfy. The property is very stylish and well taken care of. Yoga and Bachata classes are available for free. Few minutes walk to Encuentro Beach, perfect if you like to surf.

Beautiful days spent at El Encuentro, very friendly staff specially Maria and Daniel Thet made my stay really confortable and helped out with my requests. The place is very nice decorated with a nice atmosphere, surf beach is just a couple of minutes away walking. absolutely recommended!

If you surf, this is the place to be

The staff was super nice and friendly from the beginning. We stayed only one night, but managed to arrive on the evening they had yoga, so got to stretch as well. The overall vibe is super chill there, they have towels by the pool ready, so no need to worry about having to get it.. can go swimming right after breakfast 😄 We stayed in one of the bungalows, so we actually had a second pool as well. Very good to get a late night/early morning swim. The ocean is also a few steps away, if you wanna go surfing.

The only con was the bed. It was a bit too hard for our preference, so didn’t get the best sleep and back was hurting a bit in the morning.

We really enjoyed spending our Christmas at this great place!

Great stylish place which only a short scroll away from the surf beach that is still had the „old Cabarete“ atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff, great food!
