A delightful cottage beautifully fitted out provided us with a restful short break.
It was very cosy and suited our short break away in Dorset. It was easy to find, the parking convenient, the place was warm and comfortable. The views were lovely and we enjoyed the peacefulness of the place
The only thing I would want improved is the wifi connection. We could only really use the internet in the bedroom which was not always convenient but we managed ok as we were not using the internet very much during our stay.

Don't let the negative comments put you off. It is a lovely property with an excellent host
Lovely location, host and design of property. Welcome pack Views.
Unfortunately the Raeburn cooker and heater had broken down and needed a difficult to obtain part. Victoria, the host, was there to greet us and explain. A combination of electric heaters, log burner and gas ring meant that we were still able to enjoy the property and a repair half way through the week got everything working again so we stared to appreciate the cosyness others have described. We were surprised at the amount of traffic that such an out of the way spot suffered, but learnt that it is a bit of a rat run.

Amazing cottage in beautiful location
The Byre is amazing! The location is idyllic, with cows in the field outside and a gorgeous view. The house is lovely and is perfect for a short break for two in Dorset. Victoria is a great host and even invited us to the village Christmas fete which was great fun. I'd definitely recommend this house for everyone.
