We had a wonderful stay. Location was nice. Interior decoration was quite artistic. It’s old construction so the floors were a bit noisy but not a distraction for us during the day.

Beautiful and convenient location. Easy walk to restaurants and parks. Easy drives into museums and various sites. Nice neighborhood and surrounding area. Fun time.

The park across from the property was a godsend -- a great place for the kids in our group to burn off energy. The house was immaculate and just right in size, decor and amenities. Parking was easy.

Parking was a breeze for a very urban area… never needed to use the giant parking area in back. This home is really close to Cary Street and all the amazement that goes on there… shops, restaurants and more. The washer and dryer were great and the fact that soap, shampoo and just about every other basic item you’d want is already there. Thanks Gary!

Really excellent location and the off street parking was a real perk! Three of us traveled to VA to meet up with our oldest son who is in VA for an extended period of time for training. Had a lovely Easter weekend together. The house is ideally located to pretty much everything you will want to do. The Byrd park is beautiful and quite large. Many activities just a few min drive away. Several groceries' just a mile away. The house itself was well equipt. We made breakfast and dinner at home and explored local eateries for lunch. Master bed is very comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay in Gary’s place in Byrd Park Richmond. Within easy walking distance of lots of food & shopping (even for our 3 year old!). Also great spot to walk around the lakes close by. It was convenient to everything we wanted to do - children’s museum, maymont, carytown. Beds were comfortable and our family of 6 had plenty of room. Kitchen and anything extra needed are all very well stocked. Thanks for a great place to stay !

This is our second time staying at this property in Richmond. It is clean and spacious. Near a great parks and tons on shops and restaurants within waling distance.

My wife and I enjoyed staying at the Byrd Park Property. We loved the location and the home and decor. We found it comfortable and well appointed. We celebrated Christmas there with the majority of our family and had a wonderful time.

For museums, walking and shopping, it couldn’t have been more convenient. The house was comfortable., Including sleeping,. It could use a little sprucing up because it’s dark inside, but it is an old house so it wasn’t a surprise. The owners were available and helpful at check in. We had a wonderful stay in Richmond, and would definitely do it again.

Easy to rent and communicate with owner. Nicely equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds and linens. Enjoyed our stay immensely. Front porch set up for casual visiting weather permitting.

We loved this house. It was old, refurbished and in such a great location. Easy to get to restaurants, historic sites and downtown. Beds were comfortable, there was a well-stocked kitchen, plenty of seating and clean. The owner was very responsive when we had a question. Highly recommend this lovely home.

We were in town for a family wedding. We enjoyed our stay in this very historic house and neighborhood. We walked to Carytown and the lakes. There are many restaurants and shops. The house is very spacious with a lot of outdoor areas. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. My only recommendation would be to neutralize the decor in the TV room. It’s a very taste specific. We would definitely stay again. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Ron & Cindy S

A comfortable home with easy access to both the park and the surrounding restaurants. We walked to Cary and Main Streets for breakfast and dinner and had loads of options to choose form within a mile or so.

The condo was very clean and in a great location. The owners are quite nice and attentive. Will stay again!!

Fantastic location, close to all amenities and sites, on the edge of beautiful parks, that are lovely to walk around on a summers eve. House was as described, spacious, comfortable, pet friendly, well stocked, plenty parking, gracious hosts….The only thing I would have liked to have known, was that there were people living in the basement with, at times, quite noisy dogs.

(Full size gym in the attic) Great outdoor spaces, large front porch for sitting and chillin, small patio off the kitchen that looks on to the back yard, sweet little balcony off the master bedroom. Nothing negative to report. It was a perfect fit for our large family and friends. Certainly worth checking it out. I would stay there again. Thank you

The house was very close to all the sights we wanted to visit. Loved being able to bring our pooch along too. Short walk to the lake; walked the dog there each day, very picturesque. Our boys played tennis at the nearby courts. Plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 teenagers. The bed and pillows in the master were very comfortable. The bunk beds were very loud and squeaky. The exercise equipment would not turn on nor did the lamps in that room, but we did a lot of walking so got our steps in anyway. There was plenty of parking. The host provided extra touches that were a welcome surprise: a snack basket, hand and dish soaps, shampoo/body wash, seasonings, oil, coffee and filters, condiments. The kitchen could really use a new set of knives and a larger cutting board. All in all we had a great stay and would stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality!
