Had to cut from2 nights to 1 due to work schedule so only stayed one night but was perfect for sleeping
Didn’t need anything for multiple day stay but house was perfectly stocked with everything to be comfortable if needed
I’d recommend

Unfortunately we did not have a 5 star experience by any means at this property. I don’t want anyone else to experience what we did, so I wanted to leave an honest review. This house was a good location for our Hershey trip, it is bowever located right next to a homeless tent community and they would hang out in the road and riverfront.
The house was very dirty. Walls had gunk, scrapes, cabinets had old food spilled in them, coffee was molding in the pot, thick dust had collected on surfaces. Rugs were stained, bedding had blood stains, even the curtains had brown stains on them. The ceilings had mold/mildew and were cracking.
Overall, not well kept.
Parking was bad. You need a permit for the street and the garage was blocked where we couldn’t access it.
When we checked in it was “keyless” and the code was supposed to be switched so no only else knew it, yet on arrival, it didn’t work.
There was also a pest issue. Mouse droppings and traps thrown about and bees inside the house. The exterminator also came knocking on the door because he was told no one was there.
There’s only enough sitting room in the living room for 3, dishes and pots provided were dirty with food caked on as well as mouse droppings in the cupboards. The master bed is impossible to sleep on as it is massively slanted.
This has never happened in our renting experiences. This place isn’t well taken care of. We received a small refund for our big issues only after vrbo suggested it.

Beautiful townhouse, beautiful view. So much within walking distance. I had several questions and owners responded quickly. If I have a need to return to the area, I would love to stay at this home again.

Property was just okay
Based on the other reviews and pictures, my expectations were very high for this place. In reality, it's a very old house that smells like mold/mildew. It's three floors - first floor is kitchen and living room, second floor is one bathroom and two bedrooms, and third floor is one bathroom and one bedroom. The top floors get VERY warm. There is no fan in the master... between the hot air (and mind you, this was May - I'd hate to feel it over the summer!), and a too soft mattress with very cheap-feeling sheets, we slept terribly. I also didn't love having to put one of my kids up on the top floor by themselves. The house was fine, just not great and not somewhere I was excited to come back to at the end of each day. We ended up leaving a day early since no one was sleeping great.

Great location
Nicely located for sight seeing with great access to freeways. Old and needs some updating but overall a nice place and a pleasant stay. Better furniture on patio would be a significant plus. Steep stairs to all bathrooms and bedrooms could be an issue to be aware of for some.

Great accommodations for family trip
We really enjoyed our stay here and the hosts were great! We had 6 adults and a two year old that were very comfortable in the house. It was nice having a large kitchen with all the amenities to cook so we did not have to eat out every meal. The location had a beautiful view of the river and we felt safe walking on the trail. Would definitely book again if in that area!

Visiting family member in her new town
We wanted a place to stay in Harrisburg, that would accommodate our family. The location was very convenient for our needs. Loved the views of the river, as well as the cute patio out back. It was unfortunate that all but 3 of the patio string lights were burned out.

Absolutely Beautiful House!!!
This house was everything and more. It was very accurate in the description and very clean. The house was perfect in every way for our Harrisburg trip. From the bathrooms, to the bedroom linens and kitchen was stocked. If you want a home away from home- this is definitely the one! You won’t be disappointed! ☺️

Great space - needs a few tweaks
The location is fantastic - we used it as our home base for a Hershey trip.
Less than 20 minutes from the park and access to anything you might need within minutes.
Beautiful view with the river directly out your front door (and a great walking path right there as well).
Pay close attention to the parking instructions. The garage on site *might* fit a smaller car. Anything else needs to go on street parking (this was no problem whatsoever - just pointing it out).
As to the space itself. The first floor is good. Its the upper floors that are a bit rough. There needs to be some repair and cleanup. Overall we had no problems but the four stars are for the state of the space in entirety.
We would return if we were taking another Hershey trip.

Hershey-Harrisburg Vacation
We stayed at this rental to mostly go to Hershey park attractions, but also to have a couple of nice dinners in Harrisburg and check out the music scene. The location is great, right on the river with a bike path along it, and it was really easy to get to the highway and whatever else we needed to access. The house is a modernized older city dwelling, which was exactly what we wanted, and was clean and we'll stocked. There was also a garage for our car, which was a major plus, and my seven year old got to see some bunnies and otters on/near the property, another bonus! The only critique I might have is the hot water ran out rather quickly; I'm not certain the tank is set up for a vacationing family of five. But I also didn't complain about it, because it was only an issue once or twice. I definitely received the property.

Short stay fro
The stay was very nice, the pictures were a correct representation on the place. There was a lot of stairs and there was a little mix up on the check in. But the owner was easy to contact and the problem was fixed promptly. The instructions and the directions on how to get a parking pass were slightly confusing. But I would definitely recommend.

Beautiful View
In the beginning, I booked for 5 people and paid extra for an additional guest. When I learned that one person could not attend, I immediately contacted the owner and asked to decrease the number and for a refund on additional expenses. It took a LONG time and several messages to get a response. When I did, no refund was given and I was told it was because VRBO wanted to charge me more for the change so just leaving it alone was the best and least expensive option. Later, I checked rates again for summer months and we were still paying higher than average costs so I reached out again to ask why. However, I did not want to leave us without a place to stay so I just asked the question and did not pursue. I did not get an answer. Later, my friend's parents wanted to come and visit us for one night and we were charged an additional $30 even though I had already paid for 5 people for 9 days.
The property has 3 bedrooms and 2 tiny bathrooms (typical of homes in the area) with 4 beds. Upstairs rooms are HOT unless you lower A/C a lot and use fans. There were plenty of towels. The sheets are not cotton and this felt weird to us but may not to everyone.
The property is being maintained but not "loved" or appears as little money as possible is being spent on it. We arrived to find the door code was not working but they did help with this immediately, a broken cabinet hinge, bleach stains on the carpet upstairs and not enough seating in the living room for four people. We had to go out and buy toliet paper. We went out and swept cobwebs/bugs off the entry door area/light fixture.
You are told to NOT wear shoes in the house and we all found this extremely hard. I understand not wanting shoes upstairs but no shoes in the house just does not match with American habits.
The book of instructions/rules does not match what you are sent in messages and ends up being very confusing. We received a parking ticket even though we bought a parking pass because we were not told it did not mean on street cleaning days. This is very important information for people who have no experience with street cleaning and parking on streets. It should have been provided in the book. We paid for cleaning and then were asked to complete a lot of cleaning before leaving which was not in the book of instructions/rules.
The view across the street is awesome. The walking trail along the river is amazing. The house was in a great location for our adventures.

Father & Sons Weekend
Qui,
The house was nicely furnished and had plenty of room. We were able to gather together to eat, play and watch TV. The location is beautiful, right across from the river. We all enjoyed the stay and fun hanging out with one another.
Thanks for the use of the wonderful environment to catch-up and enjoy ourselves.

Five Stars for a Trip We Didn't Take
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were unable to take our spring break trip to the Harrisburg area. So, we can't really review the property itself. But I wanted to leave a review of the property owner, Qui. We both understand that the situation is hard on both travelers and owners. As such, we decided to split the cost of the rental 50/50. Qui was very professional and respectful. I am grateful that I was renting from him and not one of those other VRBO owners who refuse to be flexible during this strange time. We are not sure when we will get to take our trip to the Harrisburg area, but when we do, I hope this property is available.

Had a great stay with friends. We loved the view of sunset out the front door the best! The place was clean and parking was big enough to accommodate my big truck.

Quiet location in town
The townhouse is at the edge of a neighborhood and fairly quiet as far as traffic noise goes. It is also convenient to the farm show complex and dining opportunities. We have stayed there twice and will most likely stay there again next year. Having room to stretch out at the end of the day and being able to cook our own meals is a bonus.

Riverfront in Harrisburg
We enjoyed the beautiful riverfront view and easy access to biking/walking trails along the river. We walked a lot during our stay, but driving to nearby attractions is easily accomplished. This is a very clean property with all necessary amenities provided. Comfy beds and plenty of space for our party of 5.

Great location with a lot of space
We stayed in this property during a trip to Hersheypark with our children. The house is only about a 25 minute drive from Hershey and the privacy and space that this house offered was so much better than staying in a hotel. It was so nice to have a washer and dryer after the water park and for our children to have their own rooms to sleep in. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were all comfortable. The house was clean and furnished with everything that we needed. We loved the historical neighborhood and the view of the river. We would definitely stay here again if it was available next time we go to Hersheypark.

Harrisburg with a View!
The property was well situated and convenient to the Capital and many restaurants. The kitchen was well stocked; the housekeeping excellent and the view was a knockout. We were four adults and very comfortable. The proximity to the busy bridge was a cause for a bit of noise but with the windows shut it was not a problem.
If you go you will enjoy a walk along the river and then a short hike into the city.

Charming, spacious row house on the river
Qui and Adrian's house was perfect for our family getaway to Hersheypark (only ~20 minutes away). Despite being a historic row house, their home had more than enough room for 5 adults. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner/breakfast. We were able to park 3 cars without issue (1 in the garage and 2 on-street). Qui was responsive and friendly throughout all our interactions and provided ample details to ensure a smooth check-in. Highly recommended!

Lovely house with character and charm
A beautiful house with a lot of character and all modern necessities. It was comfortable and beautiful, and the full family (including the Labrador) had a great time here. The ease of access to the riverfront park was fantastic.

Perfect for our needs
House was well located; it was nice to have someplace close to stay that was between all the places we wanted to visit. I loved having the comforts of a home (i.e. kitchen, fridge, washer/dryer) and the option to lounge with my family in the living room. Beds were comfy, more than enough linens. Kitchen was well stocked with dinnerware, cookware, and some pantry staples (THANK YOU for the coffee, creamer and sugar. They were essential! Stock spices came in handy too). Thankful for the garage too; not having to find nearby parking was a blessing in the rain. There was a convenient playground blocks away, covered picnic area, and a delicious Cuban restaurant right next to the playground with outdoor seating. Downtown Harrisburg was a 20-30min walk but doable even by my kids standards with some yummy restaurants. All in all the wiser choice compared to a hotel. The only downside was that the Quiet Time starts so early at 8pm. It was hard to quiet the kids down from being excited all day and also limited our downtime once the kids were asleep as we made an effort not to make too much noise. Growing up in a townhouse I can remember all too well how easily sound travels through the walls.

Water Front
The house was very nice, there was plenty of room for everyone. We had a issue with the back lock which was taken care of right away. It was 100 degrees out the air worked very well in keeping us cool. The house is close to down town with very nice view of the river, It is also connected to other houses which was hard keeping the kids quiet something we are not use to, but the neighbors were great my husband helped get a baby skunk off the porch next door. Would definitely rent again if we were in the area.

Home Away Sanctuary
Love this place I was looking for a special house for my Revival Retreat for 6 people. When I first arrived I loved that I didn't have to worry about Parking and unloading my luggage. Plus if you have a smaller car you can park inside a garage, which is added benefit if it is raining or snowing.
The first floor is an open space we you can be cooking in the kitchen and have your family or guests sitting at the dining room table or in the living room on the cozy couch.. plus a desk that fits into the equation for business people to plug in their computer. Just like being HOME.
Yes you have a great Flat TV Screen were you can watch NETFLIX, AMAZON.. We watched Gerry Maguire old movie SHOW ME THE MONEY!!
What's really nice... there is no clutter around or any distractions of other responsibilities i.e., doing dishes, laundry, driving to the post office, you know the to do list that you can't get away from. Plus each bedroom has it's own charming decor great closets and bureaus, chair to sit in and two bathrooms one has a tub on the second floor with plenty of room to unpack your beauty products. Also the second bedroom with the queen bed has it's own Flat TV Screen if you want to watch your own favorite show. Then the third floor floor where it feels like it's own private suite with a bathroom with stand up shower stall. In the hallway there is room to set up a yoga mat to meditate and practice yoga and there is another desk as well so you can have privacy on you're computer. The beds pillows, linens are luxurious. Then there is the outside patio we didn't use but would have if the weather was a little warmer. But we went for walks around the historic walnut bridge known as The People's Bridge. You can walk, bike and enjoy Mother Nature. Definitely will be going back there again when it gets warmer, love to go for a bike ride after my next retreat.
