Beautiful property, great location, definitely recommend it.

Beautiful cottage, very spacious and everything was pristine - decor, cleanliness, provisions (cooking equipment, crockery, towels, bedding etc.). Close to everything and parking on site.

Numerous dustbins outside, did not know what went in where so probably didn't recycle as well as we should have done. Thought it was quite expensive for end of season/out of season accommodation. That said I would consider staying there again.

Lovely, clean and well maintained cottage.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The back garden is lovely and well maintained.

Just a note about the closeness of the country lane immediately outside of the cottage. The traffic is controlled by traffic lights but you do need to be careful when walking out of and walking towards the cottage entrance.

Pretty cottage with great log burner.

Loved the fire. Nice garden. Pretty cottage. Nice and clean. Good location. Good facilities. Pretty location on edge of settlement.

Road safely (narrow road on a bend that you have to walk along to get from car to front door - would be awkward with children). Gas cooker (prefer electric or induction).

Perfect base for exploring Penistone and the general area.

Decor, furnishings spotless. Beds super comfy. Everything seemed to have been thought of. There was a woodburner but central heating was so warming there was no need to use it. Botrh bedrooms good size for two adults. Lounge was ideal size for four to relax in. TV works well. Breakfast was not part of the deal but it was nice to find milk, coffee, eggs awaiting us in the kitchen. As we were expecting to self-cater, we had our own food but the milk was a help. Caroline was extremely helpful with loads of hints of places to visit- gave impression that nothing was too much trouble. Within walking distance of Penistine parkrun.

Stairs a bit narrow, there was a step into the kitchen. Might be an issue for someone slightly infirm.

Whole visit experience was better than we expected.

Location excellent with lots to do and see within easy distance. Cottage was absolutely lovely and we could walk into shops. Good selection of food shops with 2 small and one good sized supermarket nearby. Nice walks around the village too. Cottage had a lovely patio area and garden. Quiet location even 'though on a road. Would be very happy to book again.

Lovely cottage and short break. Highly recommended.

This is the highest spec holiday accommodation we’ve ever stayed in, in terms of furnishings, heat, cleanliness and we’ve stayed in many. Caroline was an excellent, informative and accommodating host. The facilities were plentiful and the cottage was gorgeous and cosy.

The dining table was a little small, even for three of us. Not much room for serving dishes, plates, wine glasses etc The mattress on the king size bed could have been a little more comfortable. Neither of these factors diminished our stay and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great find, a wonderful cottage

The property was very clean and spacious with very comfortable, good quality furnishings. We had a very relaxing stay. Caroline was very good at communicating with us and everything ran smoothly from start to finish.

Very comfortable and quiet.

The location was excellent for my purposes to get around Yorkshire and easy access to motorway. The cottage was immaculate and had all facilities I required.
