MI PÉSIMA EXPERIENCIA CON LA ATENCIÓN CON EL HOSTAL CASA DE BARAJAS

La verdad no puedo responder esta pregunta.

Hace 2 semanas reserve con ellos y esta es mi historia, deben cambiar su atención con el cliente, el feedback con ellos fue pésimo, respondía super tarde no contaban con una línea telefónica que respondieran, el trato por Whatsapp fue pésimo y caótico, me pidieron hacer una transferencia bancaria a una cuenta colombiana, cuando en Booking indican pago en el lugar, y pues todo mal, la verdad perdieron un cliente por su pésimo servicio al cliente. Ojalá lo mejoren con sus futuros clientes el servicio de reserva. Y recordar que no todos somos clientes locales y no podemos hacer transferencia cuando en la reserva indica algo distinto.

Very good

Staff was VERY friendly! He was super helpful and super kind. We had checked in very late because of our flight and he was there waiting for us with a smile. Definitely worth the budget friendly price.

It was hard to find. No toilet paper provided. No shower head.

Cartagena on a budget

Location was good.

The structure is under renovation, guess there was a major water leaking from the roof. My room was pretty comfy if it wasn't for the terrible smell of mold and luck of ventilation and window. Very difficult to find, there's no sign with the name of the property, nor the number of the address...

Host violently attacked me and my female friend

Around 6pm my friend from Canada and I went to the room so I could get my deposit I made with the host and change my clothes. The host was not around when we arrived. ( It's not really a hotel or b&b but rather 2 vacant rooms in the bottom of a crazy person's house) around 5 mins after we arrive and I was finishing getting ready the host turned of the power to my room and opened the door to my room with a metal pole in his hand waving it in our faces. He was screaming about not allowing guests. I tried to explain we were just there for a moment and we were leaving, and no one was ever around to explain this policy or any policies really. The host then began hitting things in the house with his metal pole. I began to pack my things while he screamed. After I packed my things the host violently pushed us out of the house for no reason because we were clearly leaving. Then outside I asked the host to return my $20 deposit that he requested from me on arrival. He refused and demanded I return the keys, I said sure after he returned my money. Things became more physical at this point as he started punching my female friend and I. He ripped my shirt off as we tried to leave the situation. He never returned my money. I looked around the streets for police to try and help but could find none. I had to gather my things in the street in the dark and find a taxi to take me to my friends hotel so we could be safe. I talked with there staff at the other hotel and they warned my the police were very corrupt here and it was better not to call them. I'm not sure what I should do about retrieving my $20. This booking needs to be removed! This man is unstable and violent! You are putting people in danger by leaving this listing up!

Only the location.

Dirty. Uncomfortable. The shower still had soap of past guests. The shower is very small. The curtains of the room are old, dirty. There is not blackouts. The shower curtain had fungus. When i asked for the remote control to turn on the AC, THEY TOLD ME THAT IT HAS AN EXTRA CHARGE!!! It had a fan. The light switch of the room was OUTSIDE THE ROOM!

Location is fine but you have to know you're outside of the old town. I could get in and out on my own. Restaurants and many shops around. Fridge available. Value for money.

other rooms are under construction, there are workers from the morning. Once it will be nice accommodation. If you are looking only for room where to sleep it is ok, but if you are looking for nice place where to stay it is definitely not. I had problem to find this place, booking com showes different address and there is no label with name on the hotel.

Fort View

Directly near de Fort, Getsemani only 4 minutes . 2 big shopping malls around the corner. People here are extremely nice, rooms spotless, common area still in sort of construction. WiFi excellent! Air-conditioning excellent! Laundry service excellent! Outstanding room and spacious with view of the fort. They undersell themselves, the location had way more than the put on booking. Highly recommended.

Bit hard to find, but it's the white building next (right) to the house with the wooden balconies.

Exceptional

Owner was extremely nice and helped us with everything we needed, the room was large and clean with a lot of storage space, and the location was very good- a few minutes walk from a mall, castle of San Felipe and about 10 minutes away from the old city. A quiet, comfortable and safe place, recommended :)

the room was fine and it was not expensive

the staff was very rude and when we wanted to check out early to catch our boat to the islands the door would not open. It took 45 minutes before it was opened with the help of a passerby

This was more basic that even cheaper hostels I have stayed in in Colombia (no natural light in the room and not even a hand towel or drinking water). There is a complicated, old fashioned locking system which makes it hard to come and go.

Close location to the Shopping mall was perfect, plenty of food options. The room was better than many we had stayed in in Getsemani. Air conditioning.

The pillows were too big / high and were uncomfortable to sleep with. A flatter / softer pillow would be great.

Awesome private room with air conditioning and in walking distance to Getsemany and the old town.

- Awesome air conditioning (it can cool down the room to Arctic temperatures which is sometimes a huge plus in the Carribean heat) - It is close to the old town and the classical tourist destinations (e.g. Getsemani) - I arrived to Cartagena in the morning and could leave my baggage at the accomodation already before checking in officially in the afternoon, so I had more time to discover the city - Safe neighbourhood

- The address is a bit hard to lacate with GPS or GoogleMaps. The accommodation is actually in a parallel street compared to where you would look for it based on their Booking address. You might need to ask around a bit and this might be a tad difficult if you don't speak any Spanish. That's all. I loved the place and I'd stay here again without any hesitation.

good bed, awful bathroom, close Castillo San Felipe

The Hostal is really close to the Castillo San Felipe and the bed was comfortabel.

The bathroom was not as we wished because the shower was only a pipe and there were holes in the wall, also the toilet looked not really good. Also we had no privacy in the hotel because you can hear everything and one time the manager knocked and when we don’t responded he opened the door by his own with his key. We left the hostal after one night and stayed not four nights as we booked because of the problems and received only a little amount back because the manager was not really friendly and don‘t understood our problems.

No wifi, and No internet connection in My sim in My room either. So maybe not the best place to be of you going to be in the room a lot! Maybe a Good thing from the hostal to Invest in some wifi!

Very good

Very clean room. helpfull and friendly host. We could store our luggage. Very good location close the the castle, the mall and the historic centre.

We didn't had a window in the room. The airco worked really good, but it's always nice to let some fresh air in the room.
