Superb

Breakfast in the morning

The room for breakfast was too small. The plates and food supplies were not kept filled. Batter, syrup, napkins, plates, yogurt were all out.

That there was no staff to check us in so we had to sleep in our car! Refund me please! Contact Hastings Country Inn and they will give me a full refund please.

location and value suited our needs for a wedding party

property was convenient to our event, staff was excellent and accommodating, rooms clean and spacious.

I would not recommend to anyone to stay here. I know I won't be staying here again.

The location

The breakfast is farce no selection of hot things at all. I realize it was a continental breakfast but other places at least offer eggs or sausage or biscuits and gravy for the hot items. The bed was as hard as a board I didn't sleep very well at all.

If the rooms were a little cheaper and the shower head was attached I would rate this place a 10.

The shower head was not attached. I was not able to take a shower. I think the price for 1 night should be cheaper.

Poor

Toilet was not working on arrival. Staff told me to come get a plunger from the front desk. They did not offer to fix it themselves. I guess I could have made the bed too and vacuumed the room before I stayed there. Not impressed and not very clean either.

Convenient drive to/from the High School

We opted for a suite to give us and our daughter a bit of privacy only to find the door separating the master bedroom had glass panes with a see through curtain. Additionally the shower knob was reversed so the "hot" turned out to be very cold.

Most horrible experience there in all my stays at this establishment.

I didn’t have time.

The bed was like sleeping in the have not room on big brother. I read so many reviews from the owner that the beds are new and they weren’t broken in. Don’t get me wrong I like firm but I got maybe a hours worth of sleep. I do travel a lot and have never come across a more lame excuse that the beds were new. Who buys concrete beds for their hotels? I didn’t like the fact that if someone had a problem, the owner would reply back with snarky remarks and excuses, but if the owner got a nice review they loved it and praised the author. I told them I was there for work and needed to be close to the internet. I was told I was right above it but that was a lie. I was in the furthest room down the hall AND I had no TV channels until I played around (I too have direct TV at home) and had to do a hard reset to the channels. That was after nearly 6 hours no tv, no internet. Just wondering why I was even there. I could have driven home (it was snowing) but knew I needed to be at work so I opted to stay. I got the excuse that it was snowing but that couldn’t be further from the truth. I was in contact with my husband the entire time texting and not once did we lose internet or direct tv at our home. Suffice to say I will be checking out the other hotels in the area should the need arise which is sad because it is so close to my employer.

nice little hotel

was the perfect location for me. it was quiet at night. beds were comfortable

I have allergies and there was nothing I could eat on the breakfast menu except a fruit cup. although my husband and kids enjoyed the breakfast.
