Refreshing Stay in Panzano

Lovely breakfast trays served each morning with a beautiful view over Panzano. We upgraded to a triple suit which was definitely worth it. The pool was lovely during the heat of summer.

Unforgettable Stay: Exceptional Service, Stunning Pool, and Delicious Olive Oil

Our three-night stay at this amazing place was simply exceptional. The service was top-notch, the breakfast was delightful with attentive staff, and the stunning pool and garden added to the overall beauty. Not to mention, their own production of delicious olive oil was a true treat.

a wonderful stopover for a night

when this was Villa Sangiovese we stayed several times over many years. we celebrated key birthdays with friends flying out to join us as the hotel was so good. it has a fantastic location - on one side looking out over valleys for miles, and on the other, looking into the centre of the village. it is located on one side of the village square, and sometimes the market descends outside the front door. On this occasion, the rejuvenated wine tasting festival took place outside the front door! the hotel itself is cool, both aesthetically and physically with some lovely public rooms and easy access to the outside terraces, from which the views are stunning. there is a swimming pool on the small side but located in such a way you can stand and stare at the scenery whilst contemplating how lucky you are to being there.

Since Uldericho and the late Anne-Marie retired back to Switzerland the hotel has changed hands and is now part of the assets of the largest local vineyard. It has turned into a B and B with very few hotel facilities being offered. a (male) receptionist looked at my wife (aged over 70) struggling to take a heavy case upstairs and continued to talk to his friend on his mobile. He could and should have helped. the receptionist staff promised to help set up a drinks party but, in the end, had to be reminded and cajoled. It is a different place now, and we won't be returning.

Beautiful hotel

The whole stay was great. The rooms are lovely, everything is clean, the staff are great. The pool and outside areas really cap it off - so much space and really beautiful. The location in a small town is great for going for dinner, access to a small supermarket etc., Then once in the hotel it feels like you're in the countryside. They really have thought of everything, for example there are many different places to sit and relax and more than enough room for everyone across the hotel. The breakfast is also huge and delicious! There is no restaurant or food outside of breakfast, but there is an honesty bar for drinks.

Exceptional

My husband, almost 2 year old son and myself stayed here for 2 nights. It was the highlight of our trip to Italy. The place is stunning and perfectly located within town/steps from the bus stop. Our son has food allergies and the staff was very accommodating for breakfast. I hope I get to come back someday in the future!

The room was beautiful, but was not the same as the pictures when I booked. It had a terrace, but not a walk out one as pictured.

A must when you are in Panzano!

We loved the view, location is perfect to go to Dario’s restaurant. we loved the pool area so much!!

the bed was hard and moved but that’s very minor.

One of the best choice nearby. Beautiful garden, secret swimming pool, rosemary smell everywhere, awesome breakfast. There are a lot of great restaurants within walking distance.

We were greeted so warmly by Rafael and he helped us arrange dinner reservations. Beautifully designed, spotlessly clean room and the views are amazing

nothing to fault. had to carry suitcases upstairs so that may be good to know.
