Sunset Beach Cottage is passionate about the safety of our guests, team members and community. In an effort to protect those we care about most and to slow the spread of Covid-19, our Housekeeping has taken extra precautions with our cleaning SOP.

The owners pride themselves on creating a haven of rest and relaxation...quality linens, thoughtful amenities and the perfect location for your get-away. The Sunset Beach Cottage is just a quick 2 minutes walk to the beach, where you will enjoy what the beach has to offer...long walks, flying kites, and hunting for sand dollars. The Cottage has Smart TV with basic cable, we do have a DVD player and WIFI connectivity so you can still enjoy your favorite shows and movies. Please use WiFi connectivity for your cell phones to ensure reliable connectivity. Kitchen is fully equipped with all cooking utensils including a Vitamix blender.
We have recently added both Satellite and Cable Internet to ensure 100% WIFI connectivity when you stay with us.
Pet friendly: We are now accepting up to two well-behaved pets, subject to prior approval. Pets are $10 per pet, per day, plus tax . Request pets are not allowed on furniture or in beds.

Nice older cabin with a peekaboo view between a couple larger homes. Updated, but still obviously an older cabin, could use a good scrub on inside window sills but mostly very clean. Kitchen was clean and we used the stove for several meals. Nice dishware and drinkware. The blackout shades were appreciated and the bed we slept in was comfortable. Pillows could be replaced. Nice deck and deck chairs but again, the deck chairs need a good scrub with a brush. Private lot, quiet neighborhood and a short walk to the beach. We had an enjoyable stay and would rate this cabin as good, but not exceptional as advertised.

We recently stayed at Sunset Beach Cottage in Moclips and had a wonderful time. The cottage was charming, clean, and comfortable, just as described. It was the perfect size for our family, including our son and daughter. The highlight was being just a short walk from the beach, which made it easy to enjoy the ocean whenever we wanted. We made some great memories and really appreciated the cozy atmosphere of the cottage. Overall, it was a lovely trip, and we would definitely stay here again.

This small cottage was an amazing escape to the beach. We came for my daughter’s birthday celebration and we were so happy with our location and comfort of the cottage.

This place was perfect for me and my faithful furry sidekick. We were kind of housebound for much of our week due to extremely low temperatures, but the location couldn't be better, and the cottage itself was very comfortable. I would stay again for sure!

Patio was awesome-nice view, picnic table and Adirondack chairs. Plenty of towels-bath and beach chairs. Loved it and would book again. Didn’t use bbq but looked ok

Was impressed the moment we came down the road and saw the immense ocean before us. When we entered the cottage it was so cute and clean. The porch with the Adirondack chairs and picnic table was a great addition to sit and take it all in. Although because of circumstances beyond our control we had to leave early I would definitely rent this cottage again.

If you’re looking for a quiet getaway, look no further. We loved it! The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was completely stocked, just bring your food. If you’re going on vacation wanting to use your phone, this may not be the right place as cell service is very sketchy. We could send a text or make a call from time to time and that worked for us.

The cottage is perfect! It has everything one might need. Beds and living room furniture are very comfortable. The cottage is uncluttered and nicely decorated. The kitchen is well appointed but the real star here is the location of the cottage. The beach is fantastic! We walked for miles and picked up dozens of whole sand dollars. Thank you for a great time!

This is such a hidden gem...
it is licated in a very small area where hardly anyone goes so it is Quiet.
with lots of beach to walk...
but it is only minutes awsy from the tourist stuff if a person likes...
The cabin itself is small and Beautifully equipped!I loved the washer and dryer!!
All a person needs is litterally a suitcase!!!

Awesome place to stay at the ocean!
We had a great stay at this cute little cottage. It was very clean, beds were comfortable, nice view of the ocean from the front windows and the deck. Pet friendly, our dog had a great time too. I would recommend this place for a couple or small family. We had 4 people (2 kids) and it was comfortable, I think it would be too tight with 6. Netflix and WiFi worked great. My only negative is they left one and a half rolls of TP for 4 people for 4 days (3 females). I would have packed a couple rolls had I known. Besides that, everything was wonderful.

Beautiful, quiet, stone’s throw from the beach however the lack of cleanliness inhibited my ability to enjoy the home. We walked into a home full of fist size animal hairballs. Human hair all over the shower with dirt, grime, and animal all over every surface. Animal hair on sheets in the bed and clearly was not cleaned prior to our arrival. Dog bowls with clean pots and pans. Grill wasn’t clean. To make matters worse, there wasn't any cleaning supplies in the home. There was a plethora of animal pet flea treatment and cleaning stuff. The only available cleaner was windex. There was even animal hair in the refrigerator. Throughout the entire stay, I had to continually sweep up hair and dander from previous stays. I couldn’t sit on the couch without putting a clean sheet on it, due to the massive amounts of animal hair. My family had to take allergy medicine due to the pet dander, dust, and hair. This home has not been fully cleaned in months. Overall the views and location are second to none. It has absolute potential, however the cleanliness and sanitation are poor at best. Like staying in a dog bed.

Great little getaway
This house had everything that we needed to get away for Mother’s Day. Not too much frilly things that I had to put away for the littlest child. Kitchen was well stocked. The store was not far away and we loved walking to the beach!

This cottage was wonderful! It's cozy, comfortable, well-stocked, and right by a glorious beach. My friend and I had a great time, and my pup loved romping in the sand. We will definitely return.

Spend more for better experience.
The place was mostly as depicted in photos and listing. A few cons were the tiny shower and the super uncomfortable beds. We ended up sleeping in the living room because they were so uncomfortable. If you love rock hard beds, this is your dream place. Cleanliness was okay. I’m a bit more finicky. Overall you get what you pay for. Angela was very kind and accommodating in making the booking and changing the dates.

Loved the cottage, the location and the shower!,
Our family has grown so I get the cottage and the cabin across the street to fit everyone. It works out beautifully. I Like to read and my son was working on a brief so we took the the cottage . Everyone had a great time and we have many happy memories, since we have been renting the big cabin since for many years.
