We were a group of three couples that wanted a home base for attending the wedding of the son of a dear college friend at Chateau de la Tour Vaucros in Sorgues. This home, easily reached by car or taxi from Avignon, “The Cube,” was just perfection for our weeks stay. You can get to just about any town you may want to visit in the region using this as a home base for day trips- or enjoy the modern, well-appointed and comfortable home- lounging in the center pool courtyard while sipping aperitifs or local wines and enjoying the bounty of the fresh cheese, sausage, olives and bread from a local market. The home is very modern and automated- decorated simply and handsomely. Very secure home in a quiet residential neighborhood. So comfortable- we were there for a very warm week, but were able to stay comfortable and, of course, enjoy the stunning pool. Reliable high-speed WiFi. There are many spaces in and around the house for all to spread out- or come together. The kitchen is well-appointed with a big island for gathering. If you choose to have meals in- buying meats and produce at the local markets and grilling/eating outside was what we did most nights as spending time together was the imperative for the week. Our hosts Patrick and Florelle were so delightful and helpful with our check-in and showing us all the cool features of the house to enjoy during our stay. They stocked the kitchen with many of the staples needed before a trip to the grocery store which was above and beyond- and, of course, an excellent bottle of Chateauneuf-du-Pape wine to introduce us to the region’s bounties! We would recommend The Cube without reservation. A great home base to travel the Cotes du Rhone/Chateauneuf-du-Pape region- easy trips to Avignon and even down to the Luberon and Marseilles! Nous avons passé un très beau et bon séjour au sein d’une maison très bien conçue pour des vacances d’exception. L’agencement de la villa autour de la piscine confère un côté très privatif et calme. La région d’Avignon permet la découverte d’excellents vin et plats. Nous tenons tout particulièrement à remercier Patrick et Florelle pour leur accueil d’une gentillesse peu commune.

Accueil chaleureux, avec des propriétaires d'une grande gentillesse, disponibles en cas de besoin mais en gardant une grande discrétion. Cette maison est très agréable, il ne manque rien , et en plus situé dans les vignes. Très belle région, je vous recommande cette location, car vous y serez au calme.
