The cottage was very clean and neat upon arrival. Our family of 4 (all adults) really enjoyed our stay and we slept very comfortably. We had a few inquiries which were responded to promptly. The cottage is located conveniently close to the historic district, but I would not recommend walking. A few upgrades could be made to the cottage, but it did not hinder anything and a great time was had by all! Would recommend.

We arrived and promptly requested a refund and found other accommodations. Vacasa was helpful and responsive. We were issued a full refund.
The home has a strong odor of mildew that was irritating to our sinuses. There is obvious water staining in the ceilings on the first and second floors. The front door had been previously pried with a crowbar and not repaired. We agree with past reviews that the stair case is treacherous and some of the art in the home is eerie and not welcoming. This home needs a very different and more accurate description for potential renters.

Good location. No problem finding parking space. Could not get the TV to connect with DISH. Slippery bathtub- Hang on while showering.

The unit is in a great location, well stocked with items needed for daily living.

We were a family of 4 which included 2 teenagers. The space was adequate to accommodate the 4 of us. The powder room was useful as a 2nd place to get ready for the day. The home was clean and easy to access. It was close to lots of points of interest. We felt safe and nighttime was peaceful.
This is an historic home. It’s not fancy at all, but it’s clean and comfortable. The furnishings and decor are old and could use some freshening up. The towels and sheets were scratchy, low quality, so one may prefer to bring their own if possible. The stairs inside are narrow and steep. Both bedrooms are upstairs, so make sure you’re capable of climbing those. WiFi was sketchy. It would randomly disconnect. The air conditioner worked, but there is a big difference between upstairs and downstairs. Much warmer up. Fans are provided and we used them!
We would stay again.

On arrival, the outside kinda made us gasp. Very run down looking. Not because it’s old, plenty of places around it are just as old and well taken care. Planters, flowers, paint, etc.
Inside has that old smell but not a bad one if that makes sense. You’re staying in an old historical house, with antique furnishings, we expected it. Kinda added to its charm.
Furnishings were good, what we expected. Beds are more comfortable than we thought they’d be at first. Everything was pretty clean, no issues on that.
Stairwell needs attending too before someone gets hurt, particularly the black iron rail that only appears to be attached to the wall.
Back courtyard area, definitely private and was a nice feature to have in the evenings but definitely needs some garden love.
Location is very convenient and everything historic Savannah was within walking distance.
Check in and check out went pretty flawless and was easy.
Overall the stay was good.

This is a good place to experience old Savannah and the neighborhood is safe and charming. Easy walk to cafe’s, parks and shopping. The stairs are a little steep up to the bedrooms so maybe not good for anyone feeling unsure of their balance etc but the bathroom is bright, water pressure and water quality is lovely and you can darken the bedroom to sleep in. Overall it was a nice getaway and would return.

This place had everything we needed. We were attending a conference at the nearby DeSoto hotel. This was a short walk and enabled two adults to each have own room and a place to hang out. Easy walking distance to downtown area.

The house was super cute. It was clean, had east access, and we absolutely loved our stay. We will definitely be back next year!
2.0
Our stay in this home was unfortunately disappointing. The number one problem is that the lock system they have for entering the home doesn’t work at all. The provided instructions are completely inaccurate, and calling vacasa for help was a pain. We were standing outside in the dark with all our luggage desperately trying to get inside. We were given an alternative method of entry over the phone, which should have been provided before check-in since everyone has problems getting in. However, the physical keys were also difficult to use and kept getting stuck in the door. Days after check in, through trial and error, we eventually figured out how to unlock the door using the keypad, through an entirely different process than we were instructed (one aspect of which is that the code flashes red every single time, even when you put the code in correctly). Not only was this an inconvenience, it made us feel very unsafe because we had to stand on the street for minutes every time we were coming or going, plus the lock is at the very top of the door and the door handle doesn’t lock, meaning I don’t even want to think about how easy it would be to break down the door. The other security measure don’t even begin to make up for this flaw because there aren’t any other security measures beyond a barely locked door. I would even suggest sealing the mail slot. This lack of access and security alone would have merited a significant deduction in stars, but many other parts of the home were also not up to par.
First, the beds and pillows are incredibly uncomfortable with minimal bedding. Next, the stairs are absolutely perilous. They’re very uneven and huge steps that wind tightly around a corner without a guardrail, so I would not recommend for small children, anyone with accessibility issues, or anyone who may be drinking on their trip. The downstairs bathroom doesn’t have a fan at all, and none of the bathroom doors lock. However, the upstairs bathroom is quite nice with a spacious shower. Another concern to assess based on the needs of your party is the very creepy art. Everything in the home is antique, which is fine if that’s the vibe you’re looking for, but I cannot express enough how freaky and weird the art on the walls is. If you’re hoping for a haunted Savannah experience, this is the place for you. If you want a quaint, cute home for your trip or the comfort of your kids, I’d pass.
The kitchen was well stocked with most essentials for cooking, but there are no included amenities outside of salt, pepper, and olive cooking spray, so any condiments or seasonings need to be purchased. There are also no Tupperware or ziplock bags, and no alcohol openers as an FYI. The wifi was way worse than just using data, it barely even loaded social media.
The location of the home is excellent and close to everything, which we did appreciate.

We had a great stay! Great location and comfortable accomodations.

Other than having difficulty with the lock, all was well.

Really good location. Only issue was the provided key code didn’t work and had to call for an alternate method.
2.0
The location, property management and cleanliness (aside from the mold and what cannot be helped but to renovate) was good. The property itself however, needs a major renovation, update and is in desperate need of maintenance. The walkability was awesome. The art and photos were very odd and creepy in the home.

Overall we had a great time and enjoyed the stay. We were able to walk to several great spots from this location.

Loved that there are three beds.

Stayed here for the weekend for a wedding. It was in a great location close to everything we needed. The beds were comfy and the house was clean.

The home was lovely, and very walkable for things we wanted to do. We (3 women) felt very at home there, and enjoyed having a place to unwind and rest between our adventures.

Great location.
Easy walk to River Street.

Great location and the property was just as advertised,

Upon arrival everything looked great, clean, location was amazing, from there our experience slowly went downhill. Our first night a heavy rain storm came through and the skylight/ceiling window leaked very heavily. Although this is an unforeseen circumstance, how this was handled with the owner was awful. Weeks after the trip and still have not heard back on what to do or how to handle the water pouring in. Our second night we discovered that the place has roaches as one fell from the ceiling in the upstairs bathroom. We decided to leave early because of how unpleasant the stay had been. I have requested a refund for the time we paid for but didn’t get to spend there, but once again, we haven’t heard anything back.

Walking distance to everywhere and clean.
5.0
Easy access, plenty of nearby parking, close to everything

The bottom floor has a musty smell. The shower curtain was so thin you had to treat it with kid gloves so not to rip it. The drain in the shower clogged after the second use which shows they hadnt cleaned it in a while. The stairwell is so narrow we had to leave our luggage downstairs. The last three steps are very dangerous on the stairwell since they slant downward and have a dip. For anyone over 60 this may be a huge slipping issue.
1.0
I’m sure this was once a fine property but the patio was a mess the kitchen had roaches and the stairs to the upper level were extremely dangerous!
3.0
We felt a musty smell on the bottom floor...second was fine. The shower curtain was super thin and we had to be very careful to not rip it. The shower clogged after the second use which means the drain has not been cleaned in a long time. The stairs are very narrow so we had to keep the luggage downstairs. The last 3 steps of the stairwell are very dangerous. They slant downward and have a dip so anyone over 60 yrs has a high probability of hurting themselves. The code to get in is long and the street is not super lit so make sure you have a light on your phone. Best if you download the savannah parking app to park because you need to put time on your parking as of 8am since they will give tickets in the area. You need to use a car for most places since very little is really walking distance.

The AC unit upstairs was really bad. It was hot and never cooled off. Booked for three nights just stayed one night. Would like a refund for two nights. Would never stay at this property again in the summer time.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was a great location and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The house was well maintained, clean, and exactly what we wanted. After researching parking options we decided to park at State Rd Parking Garage. We parked and left the car there our whole stay. It was a much cheaper option than paying metered parking.
4.0
The location was very quiet and convenient for walking around town.

Loved it. Added so much to our time in Savannah to be able to return there every evening. The parking meters along the street are a game-changer. Wouldn't recommend to someone who might be unsteady climbing stairs, but for us it added to the historic feel of the place. If I lived there I might spruce up the back patio area because it's a great spot to hang out in the mornings and evenings.

This is a lovely historical property exactly as described . The house was spotlessly clean and well maintained. We had a car and there are 3 free spaces outside the house if you are lucky to get one of them . Otherwise on street parking is $1 per hour but free 8pm to 8 am.
We only had breakfast there but the kitchen seemed well equipped with everything you need.
Only issues were
1. Passing traffic every few minutes makes sleep difficult at night but you do get accustomed to it.
2. AC upstairs is not great in spite of instructions followed.
All in all though ..a lovely clean, well maintained property which we thorouhhly enjoyed and would stay again.

Our stay was very nice . Ty you were wonderful, but the people that covered for you were terrible. No help at all. We had no tv till Ty came herself and fixed it. Getting in Monday was terrible. They need an easy way for guest to get in.
4.0
The house was very nice and as described. The location was convenient, but is a busy street into the wee hours and you can hear the traffic. A noise machine is provided to help drown the noise out. The AC kept the downstairs at a good temp, but the upstairs did not really get
cool enough for our liking. Since our stay was in April & the weather was pleasant, it was not a huge issue. Summer would be a different matter. There is a fan provided. We did not cook, but the kitchen appears to be well stocked. We really enjoyed sitting in the garden after a long day of walking.
4.0
This property is in a great location for exploring savannah. Within 20 minute walk we were at the riverfront or Forsyth park. The property is older and charming and well equipped and clean. The internet is slow and kids were frustrated about this so best to be aware. Great restaurants in the area within walking distance and a short drive away is some great BBQ at Wiley's championship.
4.0
A nice little row house in the historic district. Great location close to all the sights.
5.0
Great location!! The home is charming and had everything we needed for a long weekend in Savannah. Even a hairdryer and iron. It was very clean too. The lock instructions were confusing at first bc you just enter at the front door. Nothing to do w/ the instructions provided by the back gate. Oh, and they must’ve change the carpet, because there was no issues with that that somebody else had reported. Only thing is the staircase is a little steep at the bottom- only an issue for someone w poor balance. We would stay here again.
1.5
The apartment is furnished tastefully in vintage decor. It has all the kitchen appliances necessary for short stays or even longer stays. The sofas, mattresses, chairs are worn; usable but they really should be replaced. The stairs are steep, and we had no problem using them, but if you have a bad knee or back, you should look elsewhere. This is a medium level accommodation, and it was clearly advertised as such. It was reasonably clean when we checked in. There were no hangers, and with one phone call to Vacasa, hangers were delivered. Thank you.

It was a beautiful home. We loved staying there super convenient and close to everything!

Awesome experience

This home was the perfect size for us 4 ladies to stay In. The location was very convenient
I do recommend shampooing the two area rugs downstairs. They are pretty dirty and feel horrible on bare feet
Also a few extra towels would be nice
All in all, we loved our stay.
