A lovely relaxing couple of days. We loved it.

Our bedroom overlooked the river Aven and the wooden-looking bridge Very peaceful with beautiful morning view. Our landlord and host, Yves, was very friendly and helpful directing us to the best restaurants etc. He also helped us with a very heavy suitcase! Breakfast was nice and very fresh.

Nothing really springs to mind, although evening meals would have been a nice option.

Highly recommended accomodation !

Tasty breakfast including coffee or tea, fresh orange juice, croissant, crispy baguette, butter and range and berries jam, cheese or yoghurt and fresh fruit salad. Amazing setting in the centre of the town with beautiful view on Aven river, changing its water level depending on low tide or high tide.

Everything was amazing !!!

A very warm guest house with beautiful views

It is very conveniently located in the town center with lots of parking option, walking distance to restaurants and art galleries

Windows are single panel so it can get noisy with the affluent river right by the place

A favorite on the trip

LOVED THE ROOM. Location was the best on town, beautiful view from room window. Beautiful charming hotel and wonderful host who reserved wonderful restaurants for us. Perfect breakfast! Feels very French and classic. LOVED IT!

Characterful property with good view of river. Great host with ideas for eating & places to visit.

Parking outside the property can be a little difficult during the day but easier at night.

Great place to stay, yes, we would stay again.

Yves is an excellent host, warm, welcoming and full of advice on local places of interest. The room was lovely, full of character and very well fitted out, with a lovely and separate bathroom off to the rear. The house is centrally located which means you can stay there and access many restaurants without driving. It's on the only road in central Pont Aven without any parking charges.

Noise was a problem on two of our four nights, between midnight and 3 a.m., caused by groups of people, with too much drink taken, squabbling as they made their way home along the road outside.

A comfortable stay in a superb location.

The location of La Passerelle is exceptional - right opposite the little bridge that takes you over to the main street. Our room was a good size and looked out onto the Aven. Breakfast was very good and our host, Yves was helpful and charming.

A few less bedclothes - especially as we were there during a heatwave! Just a sheet would have been perfect

We had a magical stay in La Passerelle in beautiful Pont Aven and wish to return ..soon !

Yves served us with beautiful yogurt and fruit. We also had some lovely cheeses and delicious bread. The breakfast tea was of a very high quality something that is not always the case .

Exceptional

Charming period house with large comfortable rooms, situated in the heart of the painters' village by the Passerelle bridge but off the main road, so that at night you hear only the rippling of the river. Monsieur Yves served us delightful breakfasts with fresh fruit salads, he made us very welcome and he was the perfect host.

Our stay in Pont-Aven at La Passerelle is truly one of our favorite experiences in many, many years of travel. The villa

I can not imagine a better location in beautiful Pont-Aven! Our window looked out over the river, the foot bridge and the water wheel….Our room was beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Yves is a charming host! We hated leaving!!

Real discovery

A great host giving us a warm welcome and a perfect service. Other guests were very loud, so Yves let us use another room to get a quiet night. The beds are real comfy and the rooms are very big with a tasteful Interieur. Every morning freshly made fruit salad. The restaurant of Yves wife in the town is a real recommendation, too.

Yves does everything to give you a nice stay.

Yves was so accomodating and Passerelle is beautiful. Our room overlooked the river and the room itself was really stylish and exceptionally comfortable. Yves was kind enough to arrange us taxis from the station in advance, making our journey as smooth as possible. Cannot fault our stay - thank you so much!

Very nice breakfast and helpful host giving advice on excursions Area is wonderful. We asked for and got a high up room with great view of river. This also gave many steps to walk uo but host very helpful with luggage.

A pleasant, peaceful stay at La Passerelle in a gorgeous town

Location of this property is amazing. It is a small town but where this property is situated is so beautiful and close to everything- natural sounds of the river were an added bonus. Property owner was helpful, kind and did everything to a high level of professionalism. We will most definitely be back to stay!

Excellent. Quality ingredients, well presented in a comfortable, clean breakfast room with a view of the River Aven. Yves was always attentive and helpful.

More available hot water for the bath would have been a plus.

A Comfortable Stay in the Heart of Pont-Aven

Our host Yves gave us a warm welcome and was very helpful throughout our stay. La Passerelle is perfectly located right on the river with a gorgeous view, and only a very short walk into the charming town of Pont-Aven. The bed was extremely comfortable; in fact, the wonderfully soft pillows allowed me to get a good night's sleep for the first time on our vacation! The breakfast was also exceptional, particularly the delicious fruit salad that Yves prepared each morning.

Loved La Passerelle

Yves was welcoming and made sure we got everything we needed. Location couldn't be better, overlooking the Aven River, close to town, and parking fine, especially after daytrippers leave. Room and bathroom spacious, neat and CLEAN. Bed super comfortable ... Best sleeping my entire trip. Great breakfast which was the only one included of my hotels.

A dream house in a beautiful location

We will long remember the friendly welcome and the attentive care throughout our stay by our host. Our two rooms were nice and cosy, we felt very comfortable. To our surprise, parking was possible without any problems in the immediate vicinity of the house. The location of the house is perfect, it was a wonderful stay.

Nothing to mention here, everything was fine.

Amazing stay

The place is right between the city center and the port area. Our room was big and beautiful and super clean. Breakfast is also very nice and served in a very cozy room. But most of all, Yves is a wonderful host, ready to help you with anything you need (even if that means pushing a stalled car!!). We will certainly go back.
