We love Woods Hole and think you will too! It has a truly unique ambiance and mix of tranquility, as well as accessibility. Once you park (or arrive via express bus from Boston), you will find everything you need within a short walk. These are approximate walking distances: Stony Beach (2 minutes); Woods Hole park and playground (3 minutes); center of town and Aquarium (5 minutes); and Martha's Vineyard ferry, the start of the Shining Sea Bikeway , the shuttle to Falmouth Center, and the bus stop (7 minutes). Stony Beach is famous for its gentle slope to the warm Buzzards Bay waters, which is perfect for children, and adults, alike. We provide both adult and children's kayaks and a paddle board which can easily be carried for use off of the beach (with adult supervision of children). Families, in particular, will enjoy the easy access to the park, including play structure, swings, beach volleyball, tennis courts, and baseball diamond. At the Aquarium, guests can check out the sea lions and some of the work of the local marine biologists. In town, there are wonderful restaurants, including Captain Kidd, the Landfall, and Pie in the Sky (whose made-from-scratch bread pudding is out of this world!). Those who like to bicycle will be especially happy at our home, not only given the beauty of Woods Hole and surrounding areas, but also because it is the start of the 10-mile-long Shining Sea Bikeway, which passes along the ocean, cranberry bogs and beautiful salt sea ponds and marshes. Day trips to Martha's Vineyard are easy from Woods Hole, whether on foot or on bike. The ferry leaves regularly and only costs approximately $7 each way. Our home was newly-renovated and includes 600 mbps high speed internet, and 2 large screen televisions with hundreds of free channels, including HBO, and an abundance of free on-demand offerings. The home is complemented throughout with original artwork from artists featured in the French gallery, Carre d'artistes. The furnishings are all brand new and feature a large sectional sofa and dining room chairs, all upholstered in supple leather. One only has to look out the window or off the deck to take in the wildlife present in and around Mill Pond, a location popular with bird watchers. Enjoying the view is made easy by the comfortable deck dining table and adjacent gas grille. We understand that plans sometimes change, and are, therefore, happy to grant net refunds, however, only to the extent that the house can be re-rented on the same net terms. This is probably the best vacation house we have ever rented. In addition to its perfect location in Woods Hole footsteps from Stony Beach and town, there are so many thoughtful amenities the owners provided to make staying there relaxing and comfortable -- mini-split air conditioning in each room, king beds, big new fridge, two full baths, and lovely deck where we ate and bird-watched. Also we appreciated what house didn't have -- no pet hair, no mold, no mildew, nothing broken. We're thankful for terrific stay and hope to return.

We had a wonderful time at Leonardo’s place. There was plenty of space, everything was clean, amenities were stocked, and there were toys for the kids to play with. The location was perfect, walking distance to the beach and the town. We also appreciated that they left us a bottle of wine to enjoy during our stay!

The property is in a great location to walk to all of the interesting places in Woods Hole. This made a great home base for exploring Cape Cod, we enjoyed waking up each morning and enjoying the ducks on Mill Pond, our son loved the beach and playground that are both a short walk from the house. They have anything you could need in the cabinets and we appreciated the stools in the bathroom for the littles ones as well as the toy box that kept our son busy while hanging out at the house.

Had a great two night stay with two young kids. Location is excellent, easy walk to the beach, restaurants/market, and playground. House was very clean and comfortable, great space for kids to play, and plenty of children books for us to read. And a really nice view of the pond. Next time we return to WH, we'll be looking to renting here again!

Woods Hole was a wonderful place to visit. So many things are within walking distance - the beach, restaurants, coffee shops, museums, and aquarium. This home is perfect for a family vacation. Spacious, lots of amenities in the home, and even toys for children! The view from the windows and deck was absolutely beautiful. The hosts were responsive and understanding. I would definitely come again!

Absolutely wonderful week in Woods Hole at this property- which was UBER clean, and exactly as listed in a great location. Just a stone’s throw from the beach and downtown within walking/biking distance, but you could also sit on the back deck and be completely entertained by the ducks, birds and other water fowl that call the adjacent pond home. Property manager, Leo, was accessible for local tips or in case we needed anything - which we didn’t, bc the home literally had everything! A very much needed relaxing week’s stay with my elderly parents in their 80’s - we can’t wait to do it again next year!

So close to Stoney Beach and a 5 minute walk to Eel Pond, Pie in the Sky Bakery and a park with swings-we had a relaxing week with no need to get in a car (though we did take a trip to a grocery store 15 minutes away). The house was very clean, with everything we needed including a well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds.

Our stay was made easy and comfortable in this well-appointed home. The location allows for easy walking access to all that the area offers. Birding from the deck or the many windows is special. The beds are very comfortable; the kitchen is fully equipped. We would happily return to this house.

I love this home! This was my second time renting it - first time adults and little kids, second time just myself and my husband. The place is gorgeous, the couch is super comfortable, and the view is beautiful. The short walk from the beach is great (even though I’ve only gone in the cold months). Easy to get to downtown. Communicating with the owner was an extremely easy process. All good things!

Peaceful Woods Hole spot
We enjoyed 9 days in this sweet spot overlooking a pond replete with swans and ducks. The house was spic and span clean, comfortable, with lots of light from the windows overlooking the pond. We enjoyed lovely walks in the area and found a few restaurants that were open in nearby Falmouth . We are pleased we got what we hoped for…a relaxing time ina soothing spot.

Great Woods Hole Location
Really close to the beach and the ferry, plus the Woods Hole restaurants. You can walk to everything which was great. House was comfortable and the hosts were very easy to deal with. They let us use their bikes and beach gear which was convenient and much appreciated.

Get away for the weekend
We visited this lovely home this past weekend to celebrate my sisters upcoming wedding. The house was a wonderful spot. The house is located a short walk from town which made for a great walk to and from our dinner location. The house is very clean and open. The large windows from the living room bring in lots of light and allow you to enjoy the view. The accommodations were excellent for a group of people with trundle beds proving adequate space for all to sleep. Thank you for having us!

Extremely well outfitted property in an awesome location. The village is walkable, with the immediate MBL Stony Beach 4 mins away and Nobksa Light beach a short walk away. Nice to see the businesses in WH opening back up. Great launch point for a day trip to MV. We'll be back! Thanks.

Great location, even on a rainy day
We loved this guest house and its location. It rained most of the time we stayed there but we enjoyed the view of the pond from where we were working in the living room and the short walk to the village coffee shop!

Wonderful Place
Great 5-day stay. The house is even better than it looks in the pictures: great lay-out, wonderful eating and relaxing areas, peaceful pond views. The Woods Hole location is fantastic: walk to local restaurants and shops (and small local beach); bike all around; easy daytrips to Martha's Vinyard or the outer cape beaches (we did both). Great owners, with prompt communication and no issues. Our best VRBO stay ever -- we highly recommend. (Just don't take our week!!!!)

Lovely Stay in Woods Hole
Our family of five had a great stay in Woods Hole. The house is extremely clean, comfortable, and well located (a short walk to town, and an even shorter walk to a cute little beach, which is just around the corner). The hosts were great to work with, and we enjoyed taking their bicycles out for a couple of really wonderful bike rides to the main part of Falmouth and around Martha’s Vineyard. There aren’t a ton of restaurants or tourist attractions open in Woods Hole/Falmouth at this time of year (mid-April), but we enjoyed coffee and treats from Coffee Obsession, ice cream from Ben and Bill’s, a trip to Highfield House and Nobska Lighthouse, and a visit to the Island Alpaca Farm and the Martha’s Vineyard Camp Meeting Association on the Vineyard. Would definitely recommend a stay here as a great base for exploring the surrounding area...

Great place to stay!
This property was wonderful! It had absolutely everything we could have needed. Smooth transition in and out of the property. Beach nearby is super cute. We has toddlers in our group and there were plenty of toys there to already use (which they loved). And the adult games were great as well (love the monopoly game board). Overall I was very happy with this trip!

We enjoyed our stay. It is a comfortable setting .The house is comfortable for 4 adults and 2-3 children. The location is great for walking and restaurants. There is not much of yard to enjoy the outside of the house.
