Beautiful old house modernised with taste and situated by the beach. Easy to arrive with car.

Beautiful house and apartments. Renovated with taste and preserving old. Good location by the beach. Good shower (own water boiler in the apartment).

Some noise from the road and light curtains made it hard to sleep in the morning.

Boring location

Close to the beach, nice house.

We had to use the same towels the whole week, no coffee machine in the room. You can better place a coffee machine then dishwasher in a 2p room. Nothing to do except the beach. No centrum there, no normally cafes or restaurants. Work personal at caffès are not really friendly. Everywhere just fast food, no good food restaurants. It’s good for people who wants just relax, cooking self, and do nothing more.

Excellent location buy the sea, amazing wiev from the window (pine trees), clean, super cosy. Would come again!

Loved the cosiness and countryside style, felt like living at grandparents summerhouse. Such warm feelings.

Very pleasant and comfortable apartment, with pine forest perfumes available outside!

This is something else.. The building is a quite large wooden property, freestanding in a wooded area, that is subdivided into about eight two-room apartments. It has a very attractive vibe; creaky floors and lovely aged elements, but at the same time a spotless and new bathroom and kitchen. There’s nothing sleek or designy here, nor should there be. It’s perfect as it is. My guess is this is one of the more historic properties in Saulkrasti. I would say this is suitable for couples and perhaps small families. Comfortable bed and very clean spaces. The back of the property provides access to a quiet white sandy beach, at about two minutes walking (a bit up and down, so not suitable for those with mobility issues). The owner is very helpful, often around as well, and made the stay effortless. Parking is ample and on-site.

Perhaps my only quibble would be with the proximity to the road - inevitable of course, but still, the noise from the steady trickle of cars interfered quite a bit with listening to the bird songs that are all around.

We would love to visit this place again.

The place is great for those who love a historical spirit - for me staying at this place was amazing experience and I appreciated the historical character very much. The rooms, the bathroom, and the kitchen - everything was clean and tidy, well equipped. A beautiful beach just 1 minute walk, the stores about 3 minutes’ walk, very convenient. Comfortable beds - I appreciated 2 pillows for each person ;-)

No mosquito nets on the windows (maybe only in our apartment?). This was a tough experience, as there is plenty of mosquitos during the summer… we were not able to open the windows in the evening and it was really hot inside.

Great seaside stay even for a party of 5 families with 10 toddlers!

The property has a unique feel to it - it is an old house that has been modernized very modestly. While it has all the modern facilities (great showers, equipped kitchen, dishwasher, etc) - it still has the "romantic" old house feel to it which my party really loved. Additionally - the property is next to the beach which is usually quiet and it has a great supermarket and a few decent places to eat nearby. Perfect stay!

All apartments are on the second floor - prepare to use stairs a lot.

Great stay for anyone

Indeed, as everyone mentions, the place is wonderful: it is fully equipped with quality materials. The beach is besides, there are beautiful paths to walk around, big playground nearby. I think this is a well rounded choice for anyone!

We didn't lack anything (maybe except a big knife), the host truly thought of everything you might need.

Dont miss out!

Everything! We had apartment 5 and it was spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. The host is very nice and is also communicative to ensure there is no issues. The private access to the beach (which is only meters away) is excellent and means its not as busy in that part as its away from the main access points, loads of space to park your car at the building too There really wasnt anything to not like, We will come back again 100% This really was a great way to finish our 7 week road trip

Perfect place to stay in Saulkrasti

If you are looking for a place to stay in Saulkrasti, look no further. Unique and old, but very well kept building with lots of rich details, generous amenities including dishwasher, fresh water outdoor shower for those returning from the beach and lots of privacy to enjoy.

The only small downside - busy road nearby, but it's solvable by hitting the beach via private pathway. Takes two minutes literally.

Very good

Very nicely decorated, clean rooms, comfy beds, nice sandy beach is ~100m away, several cafes and a supermarket within 5 min walking distance, close to the town centre.

If you need tranquillity and quietness - it's not your place. Road is very close - no traffic at night, so should not affect your sleep, but can be noisy during the day.
