The house offers one double bed in the main bedroom, a choice of a king bed or two single beds in the second bedroom, freshly renovated bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, sunny living area with pot belly stove, sunny deck and outdoor barbecue and entertainment area. Wifi and Netflix available Listen to the whipbirds, parrots and cockatoos. Walk down to the lake at the bottom of the block and enjoy complete seclusion from neighbours and the world, just two hours from Canberra and four and half from Sydney.

This is a special place. The views are lovely and the house is very comfortable and clean. We loved sitting outside for dinner overlooking the lake with the wallabies grazing nearby. We were also able to open the windows up to a beautiful sea breeze in the evenings. The kitchen is very well set up if you like to cook too. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway.

A well apointed , cozy and quiet house , great place to either isolate and recharge or in the centre of an excellent centre in the SOuthern Coast of NSW . Hard to fault anything from the facilities , appliences ( please loose the fridge alarm !!) :-)

Laura is a wonderful & accommodating host with a beautiful property.
Easy instructions on use of the property, which is in the perfect location to get out and explore the South Coast during the day then enjoy the evening outside on the grounds with a night sky full of stars & fresh coastal air.
It is the perfect getaway to relax and soak in the beauty of nature.
The views of Tuross Beach & lake, the established native garden full of native birds singing in the morning were a beautiful way to start the day.
It’s just the place you never want to leave.

We always love Tuross and really enjoyed our stay here - the garden and location are unique and we loved all the birds and the roo who came to hang out in the middle of the day. The bed was very comfy and great boardgame selection!

Easy to find. Clean and spacious and within easy reach of scenic drives, beaches and interesting little towns. The house sits in a large neat garden with views to lots of water. Visited by all sorts of birds who seemed keen to entertain. Would love to have stayed longer.

We loved our stay at Laura’s house. She was a great communicator and made us feel so welcome. The house has lovely water views, friendly bird life and is in a very quiet neighbourhood. It’s a private and relaxing spot to unwind, and we’d loved to come back next year! Many thanks 😊

A sanctuary
We had such a relaxing time, a home away from home. Explored Tuross Head via the cycle path and watched the birds play in the garden. The house was well appointed. and comfortable.We are heading back to experience mid-summer, after our mid-winter sojourn.

A beautiful property, although houses nearby you wouldn’t know it, privately nestled amongst lush gardens overlooking the lake.
The beds are ridiculously comfortable, the bedding plush. The house and property are super clean and well kept.
Communication with the property manager was wonderful, friendly & prompt.
The photos, although lovely, don’t do this property justice, it’s beautiful.
Location is awesome if wanting to explore further afield on the South Coast.
Honestly didn’t want to leave.

Would definitely like to stay again, if the beds get a little TLC.

Perfect Relaxation
The location of the property is perfect. So relaxing.
Amazing kitchen full of absolutely everything you would want should you feel inclined to cook.
The property is nicely laid out and a really good size.
Only spoil is the beds are rock hard and both my husband and myself woke with aching back every day. Also the King bed (2 joined bed) did not have a topper to soften the join.

Peaceful getaway
Had a lovely restful getaway in a beautiful lush location filled with lots of bird life and couple of visits from kangaroos. The property was beautiful, open and airy with a fantastic kitchen for cooking with everything you need. Great internet too! The host was easy to communicate with and always helpful. Idyllic retreat between lake and the ocean
First time visit to Tuross and really enjoyed the different beaches. The house was a truly peaceful experience - so relaxing to lie on the bed and look out at the water and lovely garden. The host was quick to respond to any query.

Calm and peaceful environment with every thing you could need to make a stay easy (including my personal criteria: a properly non stick pan and a sharp knife!). I had some meetings to attend and the wifi worked seamlessly as promised. The setting and the wildlife is stunning.

Glorious spot
This is a beautiful house, with a really great kitchen, located on a hill with brilliant views over the lake. The gardens are gorgeous, filled with birds and kangaroos. We enjoyed our stay in this truly lovely house so much. Thank you.

Returning for the second time, this accomodation didn’t in any way disappoint. Great location and comfortable home...nice to see the donkey in a neighbouring paddock had finally moved!
