Perfect for 3-4 friends to share

Good and nice looking rooms and kitchen. Possibility to be 3-4 persons. Possibility to do your own meals. Possibility to rent a parking card. Friendly and helpful host. Good collection of information brochures provided in the apartment. Rather close to grocery stores and other facilities.

43 steps to 'climb' (no elevator) - could be too much for older or weak persons, especially as the location is on a high level in the city too.

Lovely apartment near the heart of Bastia

The apartment was in the heart of the old town and a short walk to the citadel. The apartment itself was lovely but the stairway leading to it was very dark and dingy. Two roomy bedrooms and a lovely lounge with partial sea views. A shortcut to the port via many steps or you could take a longer gentler route. Shops and restaurants aplenty within an east walk.

The hallway and stairs were very dark and the paint was peeling off the walls. Almost like a dungeon, but look past this and the apartment on the second floor is worth it.

Great place from which to explore Bastia. Highly recommended

Location was very central with easy access to the old and new town. However it was on top of a very steep hill; someone with impaired mobility may struggle. Flat was clean with beautiful sea view, very spacious and airy. Neighbours were friendly and quiet and hosts were easy to contact and exceptionally helpful with our travel arrangements

The only complaint was the very small step leading into one of the bedrooms. It was tripped over 3 times during our visit, that’s just something to be aware of rather than a reason not to stay.
