Buena opción pero se mejoraría mucho si todo fuera claro en lo que se ofrece por el precio.

El personal es servicial, el desayuno bueno, la habitación limpia.

Lo que se oferto' en la reservacion no se cumplió a la llegada, la habitación no contaba con baño privado como se establecia en la plataforma, finalmente no se tuvo baño privado en la todalidad de la estancia.

Great staff, extremely friendly and helpful! Very clean and hygienic!

Staff were very friendly & accomodating, it felt very safe and welcoming environment. Room was very clean, and overall the hotel had great facilities in a small town like Bacalar.

- We kregen geen schone handdoeken? - Ontbijt: je krijgt één broodje per persoon.. Leek wel crisis? Voor extra mag je meer betalen, en een fooi wordt je nog net niet verplicht?

Better avoid this hotel

The room was very clean. Cleaning service did a really good Job!

We paid extra for a "deluxe" room, expecting a balcony,as it was in the description.but it was just a window facing a noisy street and entrance. The room was in a flour with 6 rooms facing each other in a row, offering no privacy. When we questioned the discrepancy with the booking description, the owner was really rude and disrespectful. The boss claimed it was a miscommunication:) The room had a tiny bed, no privacy, and was very noisy, especially during 5:45 AM check-ins. The only good point was the cleanliness! Breakfast was awful—watery coffee, frozen omelets. Overall, a disappointing and unpleasant experience. Stay away!

Petit déjeuner très simple, une omelette, 1 toast avec beurre et mini bananes ou pomme.

La nonchalance du réceptionniste (et propriétaire?). Il nous a vendu une excursion dont l organisateur était douteux. Contrôle de police avant le départ en bateau qui a duré une heure (sur 2 h. d excursion)

La habitación huele a humedad y desagüe (leer bien la descripción, sólo tiene 8 metros cuadrados, no tiene baño, no tiene escritorio, hay apenas sitio para guardar tus cosas). El desayuno es muy pobre (café instantáneo, margarina y no mantequilla, sólo 2 tipos de fruta y siempre la misma, pan duro y todos los días omelette, no se puede escoger nada más). Le falta generosidad a este desayuno. La piscina está constantemente turbia. Las bicis que alquilan no están en condiciones (falta grasa a los engranajes, lo cual es peligroso y no lleva cesta para llevar las cosas). El precio practicado es demasiado elevado en comparación con el servicio prestado.

Perfect stay

Quiet location but only a sort walk to restaurants, shops and the marina, friendly staff, clean and very well decorated, good breakfast. Pet lovers will be delighted with Loox , the resident dog

Hotel is in a great location near the lagoon and looks nice. There are stylish decorations.

I missed hair dryer and hanger for drying clothes. Breakfast was poor, we preffered to go to a restaurant in centre for breakfast.

After a long trip we arrived, we had to pay cash first before we where aloud to check in. we didn’t had any cash with us so we had to walk 15 minutes for an ATM. After we came back from the ATM the manager told us we can pay extra for an upgrade, after refusing we got the upgrade anyway.? Breakfast is very very basic and not fresh. Deepfried vegetables and toast as hard as rock. There is a sign on the table: minimum suggested tip, 20$ per person. The manager is constantly checking what you are up to and what your plans are, they want to make money with their tours. Annoying and rude staff.

I ended up loving this place -- the people and the location. Charming.

The staff was great -- very personable and responsive. The atmosphere of the place was terrific -- friendly clientele but private, respectful.The location was perfect -- the lake is just a couple of blocks down.

The set-up was a bit odd -- shower in the room, but toilet shared across the pool deck. The room was tiny! But it was set up well enough. I ended up finding it charming -- a feeling I didn't have when I first entered the room.

The friendly staff and the laidback vibe at the hotel is amazing! It's a small and charming hotel at a perfect location: near the laguna and the city centre. The rooms are comfy and the breakfast ommeletes are delicious!

Our room was basic but big and bright, bathroom was clean, with hot shower. A/C worked well. It is 5 minut walk to the pier and maybe 15 minut to the fort.

The breakfast was terrible, even milk to coffee was a powder from plastic bag... And there was info on the table that you need to pay tip at least 20 pesos for breakfast... I saw something like this for the first time... The pool is tiny, so if you expect that you will be able to swim, you will be disapointed.

noisy cave with small bed

very very small bed, even for two “slim fit” people issue with hot water and very weak stream of water hotel is next to rush road , same level, no fence/ garden nor barriers, literally next to road. our room was located also on this level. doors are from glass, so we could hear all cars, dogs and people in the night there are no windows in these room, only these big glass doors. so either you have option to close curtains and block any air or leave them open, but rooms next to you (2m) and ppl passing by can see there. I have had very claustrophobic feeling there even not being claustrophobic at all. in the night this “cave” gets very hot, can not sleep w/o AC and ventilator, both quite noisy. do not recommend this place at all, wanted to leave after first night, unfortunately all other options were sold out. reception is kind of arrogant, asked if there is any option to move, he was laughing that they are full. however I did not see many ppl there. when we came they asked us to tip staff serving breakfast. did not experienced this practice never before.

nice clean rooms, quiet , nice pool area.

the breakfast was good but every day the same so after 3 days we could not eat them any more. They offered instant coffee which was not good for a coffee drinker. The hotel did not offer hand towels. It was expected to pay tip for the breakfast which is unusual and is not indicated while booking that breakfast is not for free.

The place is Ok but not very clean, greedy owner.

not very clean (bedsheet and bathroom) and no electricity near by the bed. Also, we’ve been screwed by the owner of the property which made us sign in a rush for an excursion we didn’t wanted for the day after, and refused our request to cancel it.

We didnt enjoy our stay at the Ade Hotel: - The bed was too small for 2 people - There was no door between the bedroom and the bathroom - It was loud at night - The lady at the reception was very friendly. Unfortunately we met the owner later and he was not friendly at all

Nice little hotel in a quiet place, run by friendly and helpful people.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They gave great advice and service, even transported us all the way to Playa del Carmen for our next stop. Special thanks to Alejandro, Gil and Mayra for making our stay great and memorable.

The complementary breakfast could get a boost if the instant coffee was replaced by filter coffee (but that’s not really a great concern).

The property was beautifully done up, the pool area was gorgeous and we were made to feel really welcome.

The walk back from town in the dark felt a little unsafe maybe not te best place for a solo traveller.

I paid for two double beds and I got one bed and one mattress on the floor. not in a nice street and very dark and not nice view from the room.
