Bright sun filed great room, open floor plan with cathedral ceilings. Living room, dinning area, fireplace, custom commercial kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. First floor Master bedroom with walk in closet and private bath. First floor - built-in bunk with private bath off kitchen. First floor tv room / office with television, desktop, high-speed Internet throughout, enclosed glass pocket french doors for private office use. First floor power room.
Second floor sleeps six.
Two addition bedrooms.; King bedroom and Queen bedroom, both share sizable bathroom with tub / shower. Second floor open sleeping loft with twin beds. Please note the sleeping loft does not have a door. The bathroom is well appointed with double sinks, stone countertops, stone floors and glass enclosed shower / bathtub.

Antique oak floors throughout the house, quality linens, china , crystal and Baccarat glasses, extensive art collection, Yamaha piano, air-conditioned, ceiling fans throughout. Flat screen televisions. Large sunny deck off great room, teak lounge chairs, exterior dinning table, outdoor sofa set, umbrellas, gas grill, outdoor shower.
Careful screening of potential tenants is necessary. A five thousand dollar security deposit is required. Any breach of this agreement (including occupancy or unauthorized pets) will result in a total loss of the security deposit.
Pets must be approved by the owner in writing. There is a non negotiable pet fee of $500.00.This fee is necessary to support the extensive cleaning between guests, the cleaning of all of the upholstery on a regular basis and repair to lawn.

Our stay at this upscale house in Brant Point was nothing but amazing from beginning to end.
Even before we confirmed our booking, Maureen was so helpful and accommodating in answering my questions, was efficient in her response time and flexible as I inquired about dates/logistics.
The house itself is a masterpiece from the overall space to the decoration and the cleanliness. We checked in the same day another family checked out and it was spotless. There was plenty of bedrooms for my family of 6 and even 4 extra twin beds that served as an additional space to relax. In addition, the recreational areas of the home were so comfortable and a perfect place for our family to gather throughout the weekend. We found ourselves enjoying some light apps on the deck as the sun was setting, chatting over a glass of wine in the beautiful and bright kitchen and watching Sunday football in the cozy den in the front of the house.
On top of that, the house itself is in a prime location. It’s walking distance to town (10 minutes), a short walk to the Brant Point lighthouse, and even walking distance to local beaches (Steps, Cliff and Jetties). We found ourselves walking into town each night for dinner with no issue. It’s also in a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood.
Overall our stay was all we had hoped for and more. If you have the opportunity I would highly recommend booking this space as it delivered in every single our way. Our family was thrilled and will be renting again!

We had a lovely week in this impeccable Brant Point home. Ferry, restaurants and town all within easy walking distance. Home is well equipped and exceptionally clean. I highly recommend for those looking for an in town experience and convenience.

Our family stayed at Maureen's home right after the Fourth holiday. The location is ideal (away from all of the traffic and congestion); the home is extremely clean; and has everything you would need. A lovely stay.

We spent a wonderful 2 weeks with family and friends at Silver Lining (name of the house) and would definitely rent it again. Location was 100%- gorgeous neighborhood and we could walk/bike to town, beaches, and restaurants in 5 minutes. House was very clean, nicely decorated, fully stocked with everything you could want or need for grilling and cooking at home, and equipped with beach gear and towels for days out! Maureen (owner) was very prompt by phone and text had great recommendations on everything from bike rentals and restaurants, to local beaches and off-the beaten-path spots. Just arrived home and we are missing it already!

My mother and I took a last minute girls trip to Nantucket and Maureen couldn’t have been any more accommodating. She allowed us early check-in to maximize our time on island and she checked in throughout the stay to be sure we had everything we needed. The house was gorgeous, clean and bright. Beds were very comfortable and the back deck and outdoor shower were divine. The location was ideal for strolling in to town or to Brandt Point each morning. We could not have had a better stay and time at your lovely home!

This Nantucket rental is exactly as described. Charming, clean, welcoming & located in a wonderful neighborhood. The beds were cozy and all the rooms, including the outdoor patio were so comfortable for our Nantucket Girl's Weekend. Silver Lining felt like being home away from home. Maureen, the host, was easy to communicate with and responsive to our inquiries, before & during the trip. She made our trip so welcoming. We would all love to come back to Nantucket and stay at Silver Lining again!!

I cannot get over how perfect everything is at this home and how it utterly enhanced our flawless trip to Nantucket. Maureen is second to none in how she likes to keep her home and her speed of responses to my way too many questions (not her conclusion, mine!).
A few things. All top-notch appliances. If you're used to those already at your own home, you don't have to "settle" for the vacation downgrade. I appreciated this more than I thought I would. If you are OCD about cleanliness as well, then you will delight in calling this your home for your Nantucket stay. I didn't even feel like I needed to disinfect the door knobs... I'm laughing at my thought process, but many know what I mean.
In terms of the layout of the home. It really could not have been better designed. The great room/kitchen/dining area with windows on the east, south, AND west made the two days that rained into delight rather than disappointment.
Maureen was a sport helping me navigate the "insider's knowledge" regarding the ferry. She also made outstanding dinner and "must do" suggestions on my request.
In short, not one of us lucky guests would have changed or wished for improvement in ANYTHING about the house, the location and proximity to the center of things, the decor, or the host.
Overall, I rate our stay, communications, and logistics with Maureen a 12 out of 10. Will we be back to Nantucket? Of course, we will, but only when Silver Lining is available. Many thanks!

This house is in a great location, close to town and easy to bike across the island. We loved the having the nice beach chairs and umbrella available. Great selection of glasses, dishes and cooking supplies for cooking and enjoying time at the house. There are technically three full bathrooms at the house with a small powder and an outdoor shower. The outdoor shower is a must-try, so lovely! Great to spend time eating on the deck.

Maureen could not have been more helpful prior to and during our stay. She was timely and accurate with responses, and made things easy on us. The home was incredibly clean, well appointed, and had everything needed for a great trip. The location is second to none as it's a short walk to multiple beaches and into Town. We could not have been happier with our stay and look forward to going back.

When we entered the home we were very happy! Not only did it smell clean and fresh, but crisp white towels, soft beds and sheets, vibrant beach towels, beach chairs and everything else you can imagine for a week on Nantucket. Town is very close and we’re on the edge of it which was a good thing. The houses are close to each other here but Jetties Beach is walkable, so that paid off.

Dream Family Vacation
My family and I had a magical stay at the property. It was an ideal location: close to town center but far enough away to feel like we were "out of town." The main room was incredible for family dinners and relaxing: light and warm. The bedrooms were charming and well appointed. The host was very responsive. We highly recommend this property.

A beautiful home, stunning actually!!
The photos don't do this home justice. The great room is magnificent, sunny and bright with lovely furnishings and artwork. The home is immaculate and so pretty. The bedding is beautiful and the pillows are hotel quality, which my wife appreciated. Children's Beach is two blocks and town is a quick 10 minute walk. Maureen and her staff assisted us with everything we needed for a fabulous three week stay.

Brant Point Beauty!
We have rented this home for the past 6 years and cannot say enough good things about the property and the owners. Previously, we stayed at the White Elephant cottages before discovering “Silver Lining”.
This home is truly loved...Immaculate and beautifully decorated. Crystal, china, luxurious sheets, pillows, beautiful artwork, with a fully appointed chefs kitchen. The backyard spills off the great room and acts as another living space, with umbrellas, dining table, lounge chairs, a BBQ area and outdoor shower.
The custom home has 4 bedrooms with some adorable features. The “Crews Quarters” a bunk room, which my nephews enjoyed, a twin loft on the second floor, a comfortable glass enclosed library/ office with an extensive DVD collection for children and adults.
The Master bedroom has a custom closet, beautiful bathroom and is on the main floor.
This home is located 2 blocks from Children's Beach and a 5 minute walk to town.
The owners are on Island and very responsive. They have a lovely staff, housekeeper and caretaker that assisted us with anything we needed.
‘Silver Lining’ does not disappoint. We can’t wait to return this summer!
