Absolutely loved!

Absolutely loved our stay here!! Breakfast was great, dinner was wonderful! Room was spacious and comfortable for our family of four. Walkable distance to easily explore the lovely town surrounded by mountain views. Easy 20 min. walk to the Wankbahn. Wonderful stay and wonderful service!

Lovely!

The location, hotel and room were just charming! Breakfast had quite a variety for all tastes. Delicious fresh fruit and hot chocolate. On-site parking was helpful and staff were super accommodating. Wonderful Stay! Everything was expected as a German Traditional experience.

We love the entertainment during the dinner at the hotel. Bavarian traditional, nice view to the mountain. Very good food, candid service. walkable to Zupspitzebahn.

Authentic Bavarian experience

Great authentic Bavarian guesthouse with nice traditional restaurant, welcoming and attentive staff in the very centre of the town. Rooms were thoroughly cleaned daily. Several parking spots available on premises and there’s a spacious underground parking lot two blocks away.

Our stay at Gasthof Fraundorfer, Garmisch-Partenkirchen

The guesthouse is located in the inner city on the other side of town. The location is nice with different shops, restaurants, vegetable vendors, vineries and a church. It's a bit far away from the railway station and the lift to Zugspitze but accessible with bus. The rooms have all necessary amenities such as towels, soaps, hair dryer and water kettle. They are also well heated during our visit in winter. Parking is good but it's paid parking.

The dinner did taste good but we found it expensive for its small portions and we're still left hungry. Also the breakfast was too expensive for its variety, especially when the host is a little hesitant to provide additional breads. As a family who doesn't eat meat we would have appreciated eggs in varieties, that was missing.

If you want to experience Garmisch-Partenkirchen stay at this Hotel

Old German charm. The hotel was old, with lots of history. The floor was creaky, it was Awesome! Exactly what we were looking for from Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

We loved this Hotel.

The room was excellent, view unbelievable, food great, hostess great , location perfect, cannot say a negative thing at all. They even give you a free bus ticket good for local trains for your stay.

Nothing, lived it all and absolutely will return .

Loved this Gasthaus. If you want old fashioned Germany this is it.

everything except the wooden extension over our bed. kept hitting our heads

very little. I will definitely stay again. the owners and staff were amazing and so helpful when our car was damaged in a hail storm. parking was great. Breakfast was really good, in the evening dining room full of locals along with music and dancing. Food delicious. Great location. Overall one of the top stays for us in our 5 week trip!

A wonderful Garmisch experience

The hotel is charming, our family room was spacious and the staff was so friendly. The location was amazing and we loved the entertainment at night. I would recommend staying here to a friend.

It was a bit expensive but it is the tourist season. And we had a great room.
