Amazing, highly recommend!

Amazing hotel, excellent location and great facilities. Highly recommend this place. We had a lovely stay.

The spa and wellness center weren’t available.

Buon hotel per un weekend a Baveno

L'hotel è una struttura molto grande e ricca di servizi. Noi abbiamo sfruttato solo la piscina, la cui area è molto ben tenuta, con i teli spiaggia forniti dall'hotel stesso. La camera era ampia e i letti comodi. La posizione è strategica, in centro a Baveno, in riva al lago e a pochi minuti a piedi dall'imbarco dei traghetti. Ha un parcheggio privato sotterraneo spazioso, con i prezzi allineati alle strisce blu in paese (1,50€ / H)

La pulizia della camera non è stata all'altezza delle stelle (e del prezzo): nel bagno, c'era un ragno molto grande e un grumo di capelli evidentemente lasciati da un'ospite precedente, che sarebbero sicuramente stati intercettati da una pulizia accurata. Sui letti, i cuscini e i copriletti di tessuto pesante danno l'idea di polveroso e poco igienico (non credo vengano lavati ad ogni cambio lenzuola). Non abbiamo fatto colazione perché il prezzo di 25€ a testa ci sembrava decisamente eccessivo. Al momento del conto, viene "suggerito" di pagare un 5% di mancia staff opzionale.

Fantastisch zwembad en uitzicht! Echt een heerlijk hotel, vloerbedekking waar je in wegzakt, mooie grote kamer met balkon met een geweldig uitzicht. Dikke aanrader!

Déception!

Nous avons aimé l emplacement, vue sur le lac et ma terrasse pour le petit déjeuner.

Le parking payant, hors de prix avec l horodateur, on paie dès que l on sort!! Compter au moins 20euros par jour!! Du jamais vu!!!!! Chambres toutes petites, ménage non fait à 17h!!!! Sauna et bain turc fermés et pas entretenus!!! A la fin, sur la facture on voulait nous imposer 5 pourcents de frais de service. Le rapport qualité prix n est pas au rendez-vous l’hôtel veut faire des économies ( piscine intérieure froide…). De plus, le minibar est vide et la qualité de l’image de la télé était mauvaise. Quelle déception, on a tous eu le sentiment d’avoir fait les frais d’une réservation Booking. Nous avons tous les 4, l’habitude de voyager….

Beautiful Hotel but Conference Centric

Great location and beautiful resort. It was a perfect location to catch the ferry from. The room was large and comfortably accommodated our family of four. The hotel grounds were lovely and fun to walk around. There were umbrella rentals available at the front door which was a nice option.

Spa facilities are not inclusive and are an extra fee to use. The hotel had multiple conferences going on with areas of the resort normally accessible to guests setup for a conference event. Some of the conference activities were a bit loud which took away from the stay when trying to enjoy an evening drink overlooking the lake.

Very good

A nice and clean hotel. Has a private beach next to the beautiful lake.

The room is not very comfortable, in particular there are no shelves in the bathroom, nor hooks hang clothes.

Nice but quite expensive

A very nice place indeed, beautifully decorated, in a very convenient location close to the Baveno port and restaurants. But quite expensive ! Beyond the cost of the room, be prepared to spend €25 per person for breakfast. Would you like an orange juice from the minibar ? Simply opening the fridge will set you back by €40. There is even a 5% service surcharge for ... well, for nothing. You're not getting anything in return for this. But you can turn it down (as I did).

Was able to show my husband something new!

Selection was excellent, but the station with eggs and breakfast meats must not have had the induction units on, because they were always cold.

I was overall very happy. Had been here in the late 90’s with TWA.

Exceptional

Everything! The location is just perfect! On the lake. With an open swimming pool and private beach on the lake. Boats transport for visiting the islands just outside the gate. The hotel itself is a beautiful classic atmosphere. With a super kind and friendly reception staff members. We took junior suite for a family of 4, and it's was perfect! Beautiful big room with big double bed and 2 additional sofa beds, comfortable, room big and clean, TV, small mini bar, big wardrobe area. Two small balconies make a very romantic atmosphere. Our room was on the mountain view side, and i loved it. Fresh breeze in the morning and very calm. Big bathroom with separate bath and shower. Heated insidepool , gym, spa, restaurant, underground parking. We loved everything about our stay. Our stay was unforgettable.

Amazing lake view!

The breakfast was good, the room was nice and the lake view was totally amazing. Overall the hotel was very nice and clean.

But... Being a 4 star hotel and paying almost 400€ per night, you would have expected more. For example, it seemed, that the hotel wanted to charge extra from everything. Gym would have cost 12€/person, basic sauna also 12€/person, to get glasses to your room was 5€ etc. Well, the inside swimming pool was free. There was also construction work going on in the inner garden, so there was some noise and the outside pools was not in use. And, somehow we got the feeling that most of the personnel didn't like their job and they were not there for the customers. In the 4 star hotel, you would expect great service and very friendly personnel. Because of this, I don't think we're going to visit this hotel anymore, as there are many other options in the near area.

I was there for the post congress of the international camellia congress. On my invoice of 29/03/2023 nr 106 I paid for petit déjeuner, but on my progrtam of participation I see that breakfast was already provided in the program, so I paid it twice.

bathroom was poor, shower in the bathtub. walk in shower should be minimum requirement for 4 star hotel

The location was the main reason for going. The rest was disappointing for the price.

The location is the key feature and the breakfast setting is unparalleled. Access to the lake also excellent. The service from the bar was reasonable but it was good to be given complimentary nibbles with drinks.

The beds were ridiculously uncomfortable and not to have breakfast included in our enormous price was extremely disappointing. The rooms were weird with the upstairs area and the carpets not clean - hotels of this size should not have carpet as they cannot be cleaned. The bed linen was only just acceptable and the throws were also not clean. The only restaurant open within the hotel was seriously overpriced and the food was only just fair.

Great hotel, but little dated and pay for gym...

Lovely pool, beautiful lake views.

The gym and sauna etc were at additional cost, and breakfast was extremely expensive - 25e for a fairly basic buffet breakfast, so didn't bother with that. Would not expect after paying 1000e for 4 nights, to have to pay to use a gym - pretty shocking.
