No proper sunlight comes into Superior rooms

Good location. Beautiful hotel with polite staff.

Like many other hotels on booking.com Casa 1800 puts the photos of their best rooms but when you arrive you realize that your room is probably a former closet with small window and no proper sunlight coming into the room. I was very disappointed since the Superior room I booked was not very affordable, if I knew that was going to be my room I would have choosen a different hotel for that price. To be fair the staff offered to change a room on the second day but our day was booked already, we came back to hotel late and there was no point in changing rooms anymore.

Overall good stay.

Located in the old town, it is convenient to go to the historical sites. The room is clean. The staffs are friendly and helpful.

The closest carpark is 10 minutes away by walking, so if you have a lot of suitcase and you plan to drag them to the hotel it is going to be quite tough. The room was facing a courtyard, during the breakfast time it was a bit loud because the window glass was not double glazed.

Nicely located just off main square.

Prpoerty was nicely located just off Plaza Nueva and decorated in a regal style. Furniture seating was very comfortable and beds were top drawer. Great breakfast available and afternoon tea is available with lots of nice treats on offer, all for free.

Property is in a little back street and you have to walk through a couple of little streets to get to it. Work is also being carried out in these streets so not nice avoiding work traffic and ground work.

Would definitely return next time we’re in Granada

Great location, very central but peaceful. All staff very helpful and friendly. Lovely comfortable bedroom & bathroom. Complimentary afternoon tea & cake is a really nice touch too.

We stayed in Jan/Feb and bedroom tiled floors cold, would be good to have rugs in winter but apart from that everything was great

Beautiful and historic hotel, with comfy beds and stunning courtyard.

The hotel is accessible via a narrow (perhaps 8' wide) alleyway and I may have missed the hotel had I not had navigation on my phone. Once you enter the wooden doors, a beautiful hotel reveals itself with a lovely courtyard, loggia and elegant appointments throughout. It felt like a very special and historic place.

I struggled with one staff member and there was definitely a language barrier. I reached my room and was immediately contacted by staff via phone to confirm that everything was in order. At first glance, everything was wonderful. But my room's amenities had not been refreshed and I lacked a bottle of liquid soap. 1) I called and was told it would be delivered right away. About an hour later, 2) I went to the front desk and was told that it was taken care of, but I pressed a little because I wasn't certain that the clerk understood. I was told that it would be delivered right away. Nothing arrived. And 3) after returning in the later afternoon, I found the team member that was preparing for the afternoon tea service and asked for her assistance. She delivered soap promptly to my room. This hotel would have been perfect, except for this communication challenge and not having the room 100% right.

Kaunis paikka lähellä nähtävyyksiä. Rauhallinen sijainti ja kodikas, hieman romanttinenkin hotelli.Ystävällinen henkilökunta. Toinen kerta tässä samassa hotellissa.

A perfect spot with excellent staff and the 1800 suite was worth every cent.

We upgraded to best room (Case 1800 suite) which was stunning. Well worth the small upgrade cost on the day - after staying in smaller room one night. Location was superb. Short walk to Alambra which we could see from our window.

Only very minor things - not enough milk in the room for coffee (but accessible from breakfast bar) and shower door needed adjustment.

The property was simply beautiful! It was well maintained and had all amenities for a comfortable stay. The staff at the reception in the evening who checked us in was very friendly and extended a warm welcome. The complimentary evening tea and treats were a very nice gesture. The location of the hotel is perfect! With everything to see at walking distance.

Achtung Falle! Auf keinen Fall im Voraus buchen! Das GELD ist dann weg.

Bis auf die Lage nichts.

Uns wurde eine Zimmer neben einem Technikraum mit regelmässigen Geräuschen gegeben. Trotz massiver Beschwerde kein Einsehen oder wenigstens ein anderes Zimmer. Wir wurden dann freundlich darauf hingewiesen, dass wir selbstverständlich in ein anderes Hotel gehen können, aber kein Geld zurück bekommen. 600 EUR verloren und den Ärger runterschlucken müssen. Schöne Ferien! Lesen Sie unbedingt die negativen Bewertungen. Wir verstehen nicht, wie dieses Hotel eine solch gute Bewertung bekommt. UND: Booking kann rein gar nichts machen und hat noch 30% an unserem verlorenem Geld verdient. Denken Sie da mal darüber nach.

we had a magical stay over Santa Semana. Casa 1800 is a very nice hotel to stay.

The whole stay was wonderful. I have booked the room and the room I got was exactly the same I booked - which I was happy about - so thank you to the the hotel staff. we arrive with 6 year old daughter and they made a bed for her to sleep separately. The staff surprised us with the bottle of wonderful cava and an amazing welcome note! Free water. coffee and tea with biscuits is super convenient if you travel with kids. another huge plus. The hotel is in the center of the town but when you go inside the hotel - it is so very quiet.

Noise disruptions, especially late at night, (1am in the morning when guest from next door checked in and wheeled their bags to the room and talking)can certainly affect the overall quality of a hotel stay. It's important for hotels to enforce policies and guidelines to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests.
